Bible Study Service in Malang, April 10, 2014 (Thursday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 1:9-20 is about the vision of John the Apostle on Patmos Island.

John the Apostle was exiled on Patmos Island to suffer in the flesh, not because of sinning but the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. As a result, he experienced three things as follows.

  1. [verse 9] He could enter a true fellowship with God and others.
  2. [verse 10-16] He could hear and see the loud voice of the trumpet.
    Revelation 1:10, 12

1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,
1:12 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands,

The loud voice of the trumpet becomes two manifestations as follows.

    1. Seven golden lampstands.
    2. Jesus Himself in the glory.

  3. [verse 17-20] He could fall down.

ad. 2. He could hear and see the loud voice of the trumpet.
If our life, marriage, service, and ministry are signified by the cross or suffering in the flesh because of Jesus, we will be able to hear and see the loud voice of the trumpet or the true Shepherding Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword that becomes two real manifestations as follows.

  1. The Shepherding Word sanctifies and renews us until we are as perfect as Jesus is. We become His bride or the golden lampstand.
  2. Jesus Himself in the glory.

There are four appearances of Jesus in the glory as follows
.

  1. [verse 13] as the High Priest.
  2. [verse 14] as the King of all kings.
  3. [verse 15] as the Just Judge.
  4. [verse 16] as the Heavenly Bridegroom.

Revelation 1:13

1:13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.

Jesus appears as the High Priest with two signs as follows.

  1. Being clothed with a garment down to the feet.
  2. Being girded about the chest with a golden band.

The spiritual meaning of the golden band is as follows.

  1. The belt of righteousness and faithfulness or the anointing of Holy Spirit.
    Isaiah 11:5
11:5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.

Faithfulness means that one cannot be hindered by anything.
Righteousness means living in righteousness according to the Word and holding fast to the true teaching Word.

    1 John 3:7

3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

We live in righteousness, just as Jesus is righteous.

    Luke 17:7-8

17:7 "And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, 'Come at once and sit down to eat'?
17:8 "But will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare something for my supper, and
gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink'?

For getting the belt of righteousness and faithfulness or the anointing of Holy Spirit, we have to enter in the sheepfold or persevere in doing the three main services in shepherding system as follows.

    • Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service to get the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts.
    • Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion to get the fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
    • Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in His love.

In the Shepherding, our body, soul, and spirit attach to the Trinity of God and we live in the hand of God, so that Satan cannot touch us.

    The results are as follows.

    • We can minister to God to satisfy His heart.
      Luke 17:8
17:8 "But will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink'?

As a result, God will satisfy us with heavenly joy that cannot be influenced by anything. Our food, drink, and future are the concerning of God and He will never fool us.

    • We are used in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain for building the perfect body of Christ.
      Revelation 19:11
19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

    • We get the two wings of a great eagle to evacuate us to the wilderness, far away from the antichrist.
      Revelation 12:14
12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

We are preserved directly by God for three years and six months with the Teaching Word and Holy Communion. The Bible Study Service with Holy Communion is the training of evacuation until we can enter the revival of evacuation to the wilderness.

      Mark 1:4-5

1:4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
1:5 Then all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.

Formerly, in the days of the Early Rain Church there was a great revival to the wilderness to get the baptism or salvation. On the last days, there will be a great revival also to the wilderness for the perfection.

  2. The belt of strength or power to defeat enemies.
    Psalm 18:39
18:39 For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

It means the belt of the true Teaching Word.

    1 John 2:14

2:14 I have written to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one.

How great a human in the world is, he is only as a clay pot that is easily broken and destroyed. Therefore, we must be filled with the true Teaching Word, so that we get an extra power. We are not broken and do not perish. The way to fill it is by hearing the Word seriously until understand, believe, and obey it.
The function of the belt of the true Teaching Word is as follows.

    • The true Teaching Word that is obeyed is able to defeat Satan with unclean and evil spirit that encourages human to do evil and unclean deeds up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, and marrying-being given in marriage sins or sexuality sins with all its kinds. As a result, we can live in righteousness and holiness.

    • The true Teaching Word that is obeyed is able to defeat Satan with the impossible temptations and problems that cause disappointment and hopelessness even leaving God.
      1 Corinthians 10:13
10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

The true Teaching Word that is obeyed is able to give an extra or abundant power, so that we do not murmur, become disappointed and hopeless, or leave God when we are facing impossible problem. We can keep faithful and fervent in spirit doing our service and ministry to God. We also keep on giving thanks to Him.
The true Teaching Word that is obeyed is able to give solutions from all impossible problems.

  3. The belt of the cross, love and grace of God to tidy up the garments of High Priest and the priests.
    Exodus 28:8
28:8 "And the intricately woven band of the ephod, which is on it, shall be of the same workmanship, made of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen.

There are four colors of the garments, namely dark purple (blue), light purple (purple), scarlet thread (red), fine woven linen (white).

    • The purple color refers to Jesus as a King.
    • The blue color refers to Jesus as a Servant.
    • The white color refers to Jesus as a Son of God.
    • The red color refers to Jesus as a Human.

Thus, the four colors refer to the cross.

Only the servants of God may have the belt of the cross. Thus, only priests and kings or the people who serve and minister to God may have tidy and beautiful life.
How great a human is, his life will never be tidy and beautiful if he does not serve and minister to God, even he will live without any control.

    Matthew 19:20-22

19:20 The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?"
19:21 Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

For example, a young rich successful youth does not want to minister to God because of the bond of money and arrogance as he feels that his success in the world is more than the service and ministry to God.
Consequently, his life is in sadness, disappointment, tears, and bitterness.

    Luke 15:11-15
15:11 Then He said: "A certain man had two sons.
15:12 "And the younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.' So he divided to them his livelihood.
15:13 "And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living.
15:14 "But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want.
15:15 "Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

The younger son leaves the service and ministry because of the will of his flesh.
Consequently, he is far away from the heaven, dry in spirituality, not fervent in spirit anymore doing spiritual matters. He looks for the things that make him comfortable with prodigal living. His life is in failure and suffering until he enters the field of swine and wallows in the sins of evil and uncleanness. His life is bitter.

    Luke 15:17-20
15:17 "But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
15:18 'I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,
15:19 "and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants."'
15:20 "And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.

The younger son realizes his condition because of the shepherding food or the loud voice of the trumpet. He is encouraged to confess his sins to God and others. After being forgiven, we must not repeat the sins.
The time we confess our sins is the time when we give Jesus sour wine to drink on the cross. He bears all bitterness of our sins and finishes them with His blood on the cross. The Lord struggles for us to finish all our problems, tidy up our life, and give us beautiful future life.

    Luke 15:22

15:22 "But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.

Spiritually, our life is made more beautiful until we become the bride of God. The sandals refer to the moon under the feet, the ring refers to the garland of twelve stars, and the robe refers to the clothes of the sun.

    Revelation 12:1

12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.

    Ephesians 2:21

2:21 in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

We become the building of the perfect body of Christ that is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming.

God blesses us.
