Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There are four appearances of Jesus in His glory [Revelation 1:13-16] as follows.

  1. [verse 13] The appearance of Jesus in His glory as The High Priest.
  2. [verse 14] The appearance of Jesus in His glory as The King of all kings.
  3. [verse 15] The appearance of Jesus in His glory as The Just Judge.
  4. [verse 16] The appearance of Jesus in His glory as The Heavenly Bridegroom.

We are learning the second one.
Revelation 1:14
1:14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;

The appearance of Jesus in His glory as The King of all kings has two signs as follows.

  1. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow.
  2. His eyes were like a flame of fire.

We are learning the first sign.
John, the apostle, saw the head and hair of Jesus that were white like wool, as white as snow.

Daniel 7:9
7:9. "I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire;

Daniel also saw Jesus who had the white hair and sat on heavenly throne.

Proverbs 20:29, 16:31

20:29. The glory of young men is their strength, And the splendor of old men is their gray head.
16:31. The silver–haired head is a crown of glory, If it is found in the way of righteousness.

The meaning of the white hair physically refers to the old people who live in the way of righteousness. Their lives are very beautiful and they get honor truly.
Likewise, young people who live in righteousness will also have beautiful life and get honor.

1 Kings 2:5-6
2:5 "Moreover you know also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two commanders of the armies of Israel, to Abner the son of Ner and Amasa the son of Jether, whom he killed. And he shed the blood of war in peacetime, and put the blood of war on his belt that was around his waist, and on his sandals that were on his feet.
2:6 "Therefore do according to your wisdom, and do not let
his gray hairgo down to the grave in peace.

Nevertheless, there is a negative example of the white hair, namely Joab, an old person with the white hair who lived in the sin of murdering, kept revenge, pleaded the false, and made division. Such condition was the same as teaching the false teachings.

Romans 16:17

16:17. Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.

Consequently, his life was not beautiful and he did not get any honor.

The meaning of the white hair spiritually is the righteousness.
Jesus has the white hair, referring to the crown of righteousness, and sits on the throne. It means that Jesus is The King of all kings.
We must also fight, from the time a baby is in the mother’s womb, childhood, teens, old age, up to the white hair and the end line to get the crown of righteousness, so that we can sit together with Jesus on the heavenly throne.

2 Timothy 4:7-8

4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
4:8 Finally, there is laid up for
me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Our life in the world is as a fight or race up to the end line, namely we die or we are still alive when Jesus comes a second time.
We have physical fight such as our study, work, and so on as well as the spiritual one, namely we fight in order to get the crown of righteousness. There are three kinds of spiritual fight to get the crown of righteousness as follows.

  1. Fight to keep the faith.
    2 Timothy 4:7
4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

We keep on believing in God until the end. It means as follows.

    1. We never deny the name of Jesus until the end.
      Acts 4:12
4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Do not deny Jesus through saying or deeds because salvation is only in the name of Jesus.

      Titus 1:16

1:16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him,being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Denying the name of Jesus through saying or deeds means losing the salvation or perishing.

    2. Living in righteousness until the end.

    3. Holding fast to the true teaching Word that has been our life experience, until the end line.
The signs of the true teaching Word are as follows.

      • Being written in the Bible.
      • The words of Jesus Himself or being revealed through a verse that explains other verses in the bible.
      • Being obeyed.

      2 Peter 2:1
2:1. But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction..

Beware of false teachings that will destroy!

      Proverbs 11:4

11:4. Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death.

The righteousness delivers us from the wrath of God. It is more than any riches in the world because it costs the salvation.

  2. Fight for keeping faithful and responsible, faithful and fervent in spirit, as well as faithful and good in our service and ministry to God until the end line according to the ministry He has given to us.
    2 Timothy 4:7
4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

    Acts 20:24
20:24 "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

“nor do I count my life dear to myself”means that all things must be sacrificed in order to be faithful in doing the service and ministry to God, except one thing, namely the true teaching Word must not be sacrificed.

    Exodus 29:9

29:9 "And you shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and put the hats on them. The priesthood shall be theirs for a perpetual statute. So you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

Priests or servants of God are consecrated by Him forever, no retirement, except the mutation from God whose sign is our increasing ministry. When we can minister to God until our old age or we have white hair, it is only because of His grace and kindness.

    Matthew 25:26, 30
25:26 "But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
25:30 ‘And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

If one is evil, lazy, envious, and unfaithful as well as sacrificing the service and ministry in order to look for worldly things, even leaving them, he will be unprofitable servant who only destroys and makes division in the body of Christ. Consequently, his life is not beautiful, but cast to the outer darkness and he perishes forever.

Our attitude in the service and ministry determines whether we have beautiful life and future or not.

    Matthew 25:21

25:21 "His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

If we serve and minister to God with faithfulness and goodness, we will be used in great thing, namely the ministry for building the perfect body of Christthat begins from the marriage or household, shepherding, and inter-shepherding fellowship. We experience the joy of heaven that cannot be affected by anything in the world.
The service and ministry move us from the atmosphere of curse in the world to the atmosphere of heaven.

  3. Fight for keeping on waiting or longing for the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds so that we can be lifted up together with God.
    2 Timothy 4:8
4:8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

It is our greatest dream. The requirements of waiting for the second coming of Jesus are as follows.

    1. We must experience the sanctification, more and more, until we are as holy as Jesus is.
      1 John 3:2-3
3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
3:3 And everyone who has this hope in Him
purifies himself, just as He is pure.

We can be sanctified in the Holy Place or shepherding pen, namely by the perseverance in doing three main services in shepherding system as follows.

      • Golden candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service to have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His gifts.

      • Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with the Holy Communion to have fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.

      • Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service to have fellowship with Father God in His love.

We experience the sanctification done by the Trinity of God to our body, soul, and spirit as follows.

      • The sanctification done by Holy Spirit God.
        1 Peter 1:2
1:2 elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

It is to make us obedient and endure in facing the cross or the sprinkling of blood.

      • The sanctification done by the Son of God.
        John 15:3
15:3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spokento you.

It is done by the word of Jesus Himself, namely the Word that is revealed through a verse that explains other verses or the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.

        John 13:10-11

13:10 Jesus said to him, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."
13:11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, "You are not all clean."

We are sanctified from sin, especially the sin of Judas, namely the root of evil. The sins of Judas are as a thief who steals, especially the possession of God that is the tithes and offerings, uncleanness or the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage, liar, and slanderer.

      • The sanctification done by Father God.
        1 Thessalonians 5:23

        5:23. Now may the
Godof peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Until we are as perfect and spotless as Jesus is.

        James 3:2

3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

The sign is when our tongue does not lie or stumble in words, but cries Alleluia only.

    2. Being strong and of good courage.
      Psalm 27:14
27:14 Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!

We are not hopeless or disappointed in facing all things. We do not leave God, but keep on giving thanks to Him. We keep patient in the midst of sufferings.

      James 5:7-11

5:7 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.
5:8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
5:9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!
5:10 My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.
5:11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord––that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

Why did God let Job experience total test and sufferings?
      Job 1:1-3
1:1. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.
1:2 And seven sons and three daughters were born to him.
1:3 Also, his possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very large household, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the East.

      Job 32:1-2

32:1. So these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
32:2 Then the wrath of Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was aroused against Job; his wrath was aroused because he justified himself rather than God.

Job was a great person, but he had a sin, namely a self truth. It means covering the sin by blaming others, even God.
As long as one has the self truth, he will never hear and obey the true Teaching Word. He cannot see the Lord or worship Him because he is dry in his spirituality. Moreover, he cannot see the Lord when Jesus comes a second time.

      Job 42:5-6
42:5 "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You.
42:6 Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes."

Through the total test, Job could confess that he was only clay that was not worthy and precious, unable, and only being trampled underfoot.
The clay only hopes in the grace of God and lifts up the hands to Him.
As a result, there are miracles and double healing. The healing in physical life happens because nothing is impossible for God. He is able to solve all problems.
The healing in spiritual life happens to form us to become the vessel of glory. We are used to glorify God and we live by His mercy.

      Romans 9:23

9:23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,

The broken vessel that is destroyed because of the sin will be formed by God to be a new one if there is confession of sin. God is able to make all things good and beautiful in time of need. Until we can be formed to be as glorious as God when Jesus comes a second time.

God blesses you.
