Bible Study Service in Malang, August 15, 2013 (Thursday Evening)
Peace
and grace in the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew
28:20b 28:20
... and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Amen.
God
is with us always, even to the end of the age. It means that he is
with us from now on in this world which is full of curses, so that we
can feel that all things are easy and light. It continues until the
time when the antichrist reigns over the world, Jesus comes a second
time on glorious clouds, and we sit together with Him on the throne
of New Jerusalem forever.
Revelation
3:21 3:21
"To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne,
as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
Who
may get the accompaniment of God to sit together with Him on the
throne of heaven? They are those who overcome together with
Jesus.
Revelation
17:14 17:14
"These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome
them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are
with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."
The
requirement of overcoming together with Jesus is being called,
chosen, and faithful. It refers to the Court, the Holy Place, and the
Most Holy Place of tabernacle.
1
Peter 2:9 2:9
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who
called
you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
Being
called means we go out of the darkness to God's marvelous light. It
means we are delivered from sins to live in righteousness or get
salvation. It refers to the Court of tabernacle.
Being chosen
means we are shepherded and sanctified to become priests and kings.
It refers to the Holy Place.
Thus,
the requirement to overcome together with Jesus is to become the
priests and kings who serve and minister to God faithfully in the
Holy Place until the end, namely we die or Jesus comes a second
time.
2
Corinthians 11:2-4 11:2
For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed
you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to
Christ. 11:3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived
Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the
simplicity that is in Christ.
11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not
preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not
received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you
may well put up with it!
The
core of faithfulness is the real faithfulness or simplicity that is
in Christ. It is the
faithfulness to the true teaching Word that
will determine the faithfulness in marriage, ministry, and all
aspects of life. Moreover, it will determine whether we can be made
perfect or not.
The faithfulness without the true teaching
Word is faked and it cannot reach perfection.
Formerly, Eve
was deceived by serpent in Garden Eden, so she lost the simplicity
that is in Christ. She added and eliminated the true teaching Word.
Consequently, she rejected the true teaching Word and ate the
forbidden fruit. Finally, she was driven out of Eden to enter the
world which was full of curses, sorrows, heavy burdens, tears,
bitterness of heart, distress, et cetera.
Now, we are in
engagement time. It means only one step ahead we will reach the
marriage supper of the Lamb. Unfortunately, there are sons or
servants of God who are deceived by Satan, so they lose the
simplicity that is in Christ. The sign is when they well put up with
the false teaching.
1
Timothy 4:1 4:1
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart
from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of
demons,
To
well put up with it means that there is no Holy Spirit, so there is
no firmness to reject the voice of serpent or false teaching. In such
condition one considers all teachings are same and follows the
doctrines of demons. Consequently, he cannot return to paradise, but
lives in the ambience of curses and perishes forever.
There
are three things that deceive the sons or servants of God in the last
days as follows.
-
Different
gospel.
2
Corinthians 11:4 11:4
For if he who comes preaches another
Jesus
whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different
spirit
which you have not received, or a different
gospel
which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it!
The
true gospel means the whole gospel or the eternal one. It consists
of two things as follows.
-
Gospel of
salvation, gospel word, milk, or Good Tiding.
Ephesians
1:13 1:13
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the
gospel of your salvation;
in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit
of promise,
Proverbs
25:25 25:25
As cold water to a weary soul, So is good
news
from a far country.
It
is the gospel that preaches about Jesus' first coming in the
world to die on the cross and save the sinners.
The
process is as follows.
-
We have faith to
Jesus through hearing the Word of Christ. It refers to the Gate of
Tabernacle.
Romans
10:17 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
-
We repent or stop
sinning to return to God. It refers to the Altar of Burnt
Offering.
1
Corinthians 5:11 5:11
But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone
named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an
idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner--not
even to eat with such a person.
We
must die to sin, especially the six sins that have been ingrained
or ruled over the body, soul, and spirit.
-
We are baptized
of water and Holy Spirit. It refers to the Brazen Laver and the
Door of Tabernacle.
John
3:3-5 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to
you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
3:4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he
is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be
born?" 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to
you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter
the kingdom of God.
As
a result, we get new life, namely righteous life which equals to
salvation.
Thus, the gospel
Word brings the sinner to enter the Court of Tabernacle.
-
The light of
the gospel of the glory of Christ, teaching Word, solid food, or
Bride Tiding.
2
Corinthians 4:3-4 4:3
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are
perishing, 4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded,
who do not believe, lest the
light of the gospel of the glory of Christ,
who is the image of God, should shine on them.
It
is the gospel that preaches about Jesus' second coming in glory
as the King of all kings and Heavenly Bridegroom to sanctify and
perfect the people who have been saved.
The Bride Tiding
brings the people who have been saved to enter the Holy Place or
the sheepfold and the Most Holy Place or perfection.
After
being saved and delivered from the six sins ruling over the body,
soul, and spirit, we will easily give our body, soul, and spirit to
do three main services to God in the shepherding until we can reach
the perfection.
Galatians
1:6-7 1:6
I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you
in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 1:7 which is not
another; but there are some who trouble you and want to
pervert the gospel of Christ.
The
different gospel perverts the true one. It begins from the Court,
the Holy Place, up to the Most Holy Place of tabernacle. The
manifestation of the different gospel is as follows.
-
The Court.
-
The teaching
about faith by sight.
-
Salvation is
permanent, so there is no need of repentance.
-
Baptism that is
different from the baptism of Jesus.
-
Many other
spirits and tongues that are taught to others.
It means to build
a house on the sand or there is no foundation, so the house will
fall.
-
The Holy
Place.
That
is the teaching that resists the shepherding system, so the pastor
is not inside the sheepfold always and the congregation is
scattered.
Actually, the perseverance in doing three main
services to God protects us from the three times of the
condemnation of the trinity of God.
-
The Most Holy
Place.
That
is the teaching that allows one to make remarriage, mix marriage,
up to marrying-being given in marriage or the marriage of
blasphemy. The human marriage is hit, so that it cannot reach the
marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
Romans
16:17 16:17
Now I urge you, brethren, note
those who cause divisions and offenses,
contrary
to the doctrine which you learned,
and avoid
them.
To
face other teachings, we must avoid them. One who teaches the other
doctrines causes divisions and offenses. One who supports the other
doctrines will also cause divisions and offenses. If now we are
able to avoid the false doctrines, we will be able to flee from the
antichrist.
-
Another
Jesus.
That is Jesus without the cross. If the gospel is different,
there will be another Jesus because Jesus and the teaching are one.
1
Peter 4:1 4:1
Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves
also with the same mind, for he who has
suffered in the flesh
has ceased from sin,
The
cross means the suffering in the flesh.
It is the armor to defeat the sins. It happens through fasting
prayer or night prayer.
To receive another Jesus means to
reject Jesus and keep or agree with sins as well as dare blame the
righteous one.
The
practice of rejecting the cross is as follows.
-
Cancer in
mouth.
2
Timothy 2:16-18 2:16
But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more
ungodliness. 2:17 And their message will spread like cancer.
Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, 2:18 who have strayed
concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past;
and they overthrow the faith of some.
It
means as follows.
-
Vain words or
unholy ones and slander that cause bitterness in heart until one
cannot consume the true teaching Word.
Consequently, the faith
is weak and corrupted, even dead to perish.
-
Contention and
debate about the Word of God because the Word is made as
knowledge, so there is deception from faith, and consequently such
person is strayed and lost.
1
Timothy 6:20-21 6:20
O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the
profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely
called knowledge-- 6:21 by professing it some have strayed
concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.
The
true teaching is the revelation of God or the secret of His Word
through a verse that explains other verses. The result is a
perfect holy firm faith.
-
The belly
becomes god.
Philippians
3:17-19 3:17
Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk,
as you have us for a pattern. 3:18 For many walk, of whom I
have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are
the enemies of the cross of Christ: 3:19 whose end is
destruction, whose
god is their belly,
and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on
earthly things.
It
means one serves and ministers to God only to seek for physical
things
such as money, good position in office, marriage partner, friends,
members of family, et cetera. In addition, it
means one leaves the service and ministry because of seeking for
worldly things.
He may get the things, but there is no meaning because of being
conquered by death. Judas Iscariot pursues the worldly things and
consequently his entrails gush out and he perishes with his sins.
The true service is
to seek for Jesus who has been crucified. It means the suffering to
the flesh to seek the true teaching Word that is able to show us our
sins. We can be justified, sanctified, and perfected.
-
Different
spirit.
1
John 4:1-3 4:1
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether
they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the
world. 4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every
spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of
God,
4:3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has
come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the
Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in
the world.
The
different spirit means the spirit of the antichrist or the spirit
that does not confess that Jesus has come in the flesh.
The
true spirit is Holy Spirit to confess that Jesus was born as human
in the flesh.
It means as follows.
-
Jesus as Savior
who delivers us from the flesh and sin.
If we confess Jesus as
the Savior,
we must be delivered from the sins.
-
Jesus as High
Priest.
If
we have Holy Spirit and confess that Jesus is the High Priest, we
will serve and minister to God as priests and kings faithfully and
fervently in spirit.
-
Jesus as Heavenly
Bridegroom.
If
we have Holy Spirit, we
must be willing to be sanctified until we are perfect as His
bride.
Ephesians
5:31-32 5:31
"For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be
joined to his wife, and the two shall become one
flesh."
5:32This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning
Christ and the church.
The
relationship between Jesus as the Heavenly Bridegroom and the
congregation as the Bride is in spiritual
marriage, namely one glorious flesh.
It
happens through these two things.
-
Worship
prayer.
Jesus is the Head and the congregation is His body. The
closest relationship is in the worship prayer. Holy Spirit
encourages us to keen on worshiping God. On the contrary, the
spirit of the antichrist does not want to worship God. We must
increase our worship prayer on these last days until our flesh does
not speak anymore.
Proverbs
3:3 3:3
Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
If
we keen on worshiping God, He will bind our neck with His mercy or
lovingkindness. Nothing may separate us from it.
-
Holy Communion.
John
6:56 6:56
"He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I
in him.
The
requirement to consume it is to examine our life with the sharpness
of the sword of God's Word. We must confess our sin and not do
that anymore after being forgiven. As
a result, we get God's lovingkindness.
The function
of the lovingkindness of God is as follows.
-
To preserve us
as the apple of His eye.
Psalm
17:7-8 17:7
Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who
save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.
17:8 Keep
me as the apple of Your eye;
Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
It
means that we are preserved and protected physically in the midst
of many difficulties in the world. A grain of sand cannot enter the
apple of eye. Spiritually, the lovingkindness of God preserves and
protects us, so that we can live in righteousness and holiness, and
be faithful and fervent in spirit doing our service and ministry to
God until the end. God's lovingkindness also preserves us when
the antichrist reigns over the world for three years and six
months.
-
To make us
successful in all things although our strength is limited.
Genesis
39:21-23 39:21
But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him
favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 39:22 And the
keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners
who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing.
39:23 The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that
was under Joseph's authority, because the LORD was with him; and
whatever he did, the
LORD made it prosper.
-
To do great
wonder alone.
Psalm
136:1-4 136:1
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures
forever. 136:2 Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His
mercy endures forever. 136:3 Oh, give thanks to the Lord of
lords! For His mercy endures forever: 136:4 To Him who alone
does great wonders,
For His mercy endures forever;
Jesus
alone cries "It is finished" on the cross because He is able to
do great wonder by Himself. Physically, He is able to solve all
impossible problems. Spiritually, He is able to change our body,
soul, and spirit until we are perfect as He is and ready to welcome
His second coming on glorious clouds. We sit together with Him on
His throne forever.
God
blesses you.
