Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3:14-22 is about the church of the Laodiceans that represents the church in the last days or all of us.

Revelation 3:18-19

3:18"I counsel you to buy from Me goldrefined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
3:19 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

God rebukes, advises, and chastens the church of the Laodiceans to buy the heavenly treasure. There are three kinds of the heavenly treasures as follows.

  1. Gold refined in the fire.
  2. White garments to cover the nakedness.
  3. Eye salve to anoint the eyes.

If we buy the heavenly treasures, we will be rich spiritually so that we will not be lukewarm. We are not vomited by God, but able to please His heart. As a result, He will also please our heart.

Matthew 6:19-20

6:19 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroyand where thieves break in and steal;
6:20 "but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal."

Beware of three enemies attacking the heavenly treasures as follows.

  1. Moth which destroyes the white garments.
  2. Rust that destroys the metal.
  3. Thieves who steal the anointing oil.

We still learn the moth destroying the white garments. The white garments refer to the garments of ministry or God's trust.

Matthew 25:26, 30

25:26"But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazyservant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
25:30 'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

The moth refers to the laziness and wickednesswhich cause the servants of God to be unprofitable, dark, and destroyed.

Proverbs 20:4

20:4 The lazy man will not plow because of winter; He will beg during harvest and have nothing.

The laziness means unfaithfulness in serving and ministering to God, even leaving the ministry because of spiritual coldness or there is no love.
We are set free from the moth means that we are faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God according to the ministry which He entrusts to us by the encouragement of His love. The love of God is eternal. If we minister to Him by the encouragement of His love, the ministry will be eternal until we get the fine linen, clean and bright.

1 John 3:11-12
3:11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,
3:12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.

The wickedness happens like cain who killed Abel because of envy or hatred without a cause to the righteous. It means that there is no love to other people.
Being set free from the moth means that we can serve and minister to God with loving one another.

Loving one another is written five times in the first epistle of John. It is the repeated Word of God. Why?

  1. It is the love of God to warn us and give us opportunity to obey the Word.
    2 Chronicles 36:15-16
36:15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.
36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.

The repeated Word is the true sheperding Word. Perdition will come if it is rejected.

  2. It gives us assurance of faith so that we are not doubtful because of the false teachings.
    Philippians 3:1b

3:1b For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.

  3. To create the progress in the revelation of God's Word so there is increase in the spirituality of the congregation until there is perfection.

Loving one anither is written five times in the first epistle of John as follows.

  1. Loving one another is a message.
    1 John 3:11
3:11 For this is the messagethat you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,

This is the main or important message in the true teaching Word because of these reasons.

    1. There is a true and eternal fellowship through the message of loving one another.
      1 John 1:1,3
1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life--
1:3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

That is the fellowship whose base is the true teaching Word.
The horizontal fellowship happens with other people. It must be based on the true teaching Word. The vertical fellowship happens between the body and Jesus as the Head.
The true fellowship starts from within the marriage, shepherding, and inter-shepherding.

The fellowship without the true teaching Word is the same as a conspiracy to resist against the righteous.

    2. To make us not hate, especially with the hatred without a cause.
      Matthew 24:9-10
24:9 "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
24:10 "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

  2. Loving one another is the commandment of God.
    1 John 3:23
3:23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

We must do it, or else we are sinful.

    John 13:10-14

13:10 Jesus said to him, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."
13:11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, "You are not all clean."
13:12 So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you?
13:13 "You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
13:14 "If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.

If we do the commandment of God to love one another, we will be the disciples of Jesus or the people who inherit the true teaching Word. It means that the true teaching Word is ingrained in our life and written in our heart, mind, saying, deeds, and whole life. The people who obey the Word will get the power of sanctification, especially from the dirty feet like Judas Iscariot. He stole the possession of the Lord, namely the tithes and offerings until he perished. The trust of God to a pastor to receive the tithes and offerings is stolen now. Consequently, the pastor is not trusted with the spiritual food by God and the congregation is hungry and dead. Judas Iscariot also lied, kept the sins, and accused others. He was a hypocrite and a traitor.
As long as ones keep the dirty feet (thief, liar, accuser, hypocrite, and traitor), it is impossible for them to love one another, but to hate one another. If the dirty feet are cleansed, we will be able to love one another. We can wash one another or humble ourselves one another and prioritize others. We can receive the goodness of others to take their examples. We can also receive the weaknesses of others and pray for them. We can advise one another according to the true teaching Word with patience. It continues until we can love one another.

    Romans 10:15

10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!"

As a result, our life steps are beautiful with God. We have the beautiful future life.

  3. Loving one another is an invitation.
    1 John 4:7
4:7 Beloved, let uslove one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

    Revelation 22:16-17

22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."
22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "
Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely."

The duty of the church is testifying and inviting or radiating the light of life renewal or the beauty of lifeby the work of the Good News or the gospel of salvation and the Bride Tidings or the true teaching Word in the midst of the darkness in the world. We testify the gospel of salvation to the sinful people so that they can believe in Jesus and be saved. We testify the true teaching Word to the saved people so that they can be sanctified and perfected. The more we are changed, the brighter light of testimony we produce until we can appear as the bright and morning star. We are as perfect as Jesus is. If ones do not testify or invite others, they will gossip and become the fallen stars like Lucifer. They live in the darkness and presih.

  4. Loving one another is an example.
    1 John 4:10-11

4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

    Romans 13:8

13:8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

If we love one another, we can be the example in paying the debt of sin, namely we finish the sins by making reconciliation, confessing, and forgiving one another. One who does not confess the sin will blame others for sure. Consequently, God will not forgive him. If we confess and forgive one another, the blood of Jesus will finish the sins.
Let we use the long age God has given us to finish the sins. If the debt of sin is finished, all things which have not been finished yet such as marriage, children, and job, will be finished by God.

  5. Loving one another until we get the perfect love.
    1 John 4:12

4:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

    Matthew 5:43-45, 48
5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
5:44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
5:45 "that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes
His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
5:48 "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

The perfect love is like the sunshine or the love of Jesus on the cross.
The fact found in having the perfect love is we can love other people as we love ourselves; even we can love our enemy through forgiving and forgetting the sins. We can also pray for the people who have caused disadvantage to us. We can repay good for evil.
The cross is the place where we can confess all of our sins and weaknesses as well as struggle with Jesus to be set free from all of our weaknesses.

    John 19:29-30
19:29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.
19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "
It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Jesus pays attention to and cares for us on the cross. He struggles to drink the sourwine mingled with gall or bear all sins, bitterness, sufferings, and sorrows until He says 'It is finished'. All sins can be finished, except the unbelief and sins which are not confessed.
The cross is the place where Jesus radiates the light of His glory to us. His visage was so marred there, not like the son of man, to glorify or change us until we can be the same as God.

The functions of the sunshine are as follows.

    1. To give us extra power and establish our office as the priest and king until the end, namely we pass away or Jesus comes a second time. We will never stumble in facing all things.
      Jeremiah 33:19-21
33:19 And the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
33:20 "Thus says the LORD: 'If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season,
33:21 'then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers.

    2. To give us victory.
      Joshua 10:12-13
10:12 Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: "Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon."
10:13 So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.

The Lord makes war instead of us to solve all problems, even the impossible ones. He gives us physical and spiritual life.

    3. To make our face cheerful. All things are successful and beautiful.
      Matthew 13:43
13:43 "Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

We are changed to be the same as Jesus when He comes a second time. We are lifted up on the glorious clouds.

God blesses you.
