Peace and grace in the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 1:8
1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

Tonight we learn "who is and who was and who is to come".

  1. Who was.
    John 1:1,14
1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

It relates to true teaching Word (logos). Jesus is the true teaching Word who was born as human in flesh and blood or the true teaching Word that is ingrained.

The signs of the true teaching Word are as follows.

    • Being written in bible.
    • Being revealed through a verse that explains other verses in bible.
    • Showing the right marriage that will peak on the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
    • Being preached with pure purpose, not to look for any physical advantage. Even it is preached with many sacrifices.
      2 Corinthians 2:17
2:17 For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

    • Being practiced.

Where can we get the true teaching Word ingrained in our life?
We can get it through perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. It refers to Table of Showbread in tabernacle. There are twelve loaves in two rows, six in a row, that refer to sixty six books in bible or the true teaching Word.

The bread refers to the body or flesh of Christ. And then, there is drink offering referring to Jesus’ blood upon the table of showbread.
    Exodus 25:29
25:29 "You shall make its dishes, its pans, its pitchers, and its bowls for pouring. You shall make them of pure gold.

Thus, perseverance in doing Bible Study Service hastens the process of the true teaching Word’s being ingrained in our life. We have the characteristics of Jesus, namely quietness and silencealthough being in the midst of winds and waves.
Being silentmeans we correct or check ourselves with the sharpness of the true teaching Word.
Being quietmeans we control ourselves and do not hope in others, but Jesus. We can pray to God.
Repenting and praying mean we lift up our two hands to God, and He will stretch His hand to make the sea calm. All things are finished by God. We have peace and all things are easy and light.

The food will determine whether we get the atmosphere of curse, namely windstorm and wave, or the one of paradise, namely peace. Eve was driven out of Eden because of the matter of food. If we eat the true teaching Word, we will be silent and quiet although we live in the midst of the sea of the world.

  2. Who is.
    Exodus 3:14
3:14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.' "

It relates to the calling of God to Moses.

    Exodus 3:4
3:4 So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."

Moses answered the calling of God. Likewise, we have to answer the calling of God. If we receive it, we will get these three things.

    • Sanctification until we can take our sandals off our feet.
      Exodus 3:5
3:5 Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground."

It is sanctification to our outer and inner life to make us newborn baby.

      1 Peter 2:1-3
2:1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
2:3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

The signs of newborn baby are as follows.

      1. There must be no five sins, namely malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and evil speaking.
      2. There is only one desire, namely receiving or consuming the milk of mother’s breast or pure and spiritual Shepherding Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
      3. Relying on the mercy and goodness of God only.

    • Moses was sent to set the house of Israel free from Egypt in order to serve God in the wilderness.
      Exodus 3:10
3:10 "Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt."

      Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

It means that we will be equipped with ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit after we are sanctified in our outer and inner part of life. We are used for building the perfect body of Christ or the perfect bride of God who is ready to go out of the world and welcome Jesus’ second coming on glorious clouds.

      Exodus 3:8
3:8 "So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

Actually, God alone would have been able to deliver the house of Israel out of the hand of the Egyptians, but He used Moses. Now, God alone is also able to build the perfect body of Christ, but He uses us. It is only because of His mercy and trust to us. We must keep faithful and fervent in spirit doing our ministry to God. Do not let the trust and mercy of God be turned to others. For example, Judas Iscariot could not get them again and he perished forever.

    • We get the earnest attention of God, our Head, to set us free from problems and sorrows as well as guide us to enter Canaan, so that we can live in abundance, namely we can always give thanks to God.
      Exodus 3:7
3:7 And the LORD said: "I have surely seenthe oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

  3. Who is to come.
    Acts 1:11
1:11 who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

That is Jesus related to His second coming.

    Philippians 3:20-21
3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
3:21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Jesus comes a second time to change us in the twinkling of an eye to be as glorious as Jesus is or His bride who is ready to welcome His second coming on glorious clouds.
Therefore, let us experience life renewal from fleshy men to spiritual ones from now on.
The center of our spiritual life is our heart and mind. Our whole life will be changed if our heart and mind are renewed.

    Philippians 2:5-8
2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
2:6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
2:7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

The seven minds and feelings of Jesus are as follows.

    • Full surrendering.
    • Not keeping rights.
    • Making Himself of no reputation. It means we feel nothing although we have something. Do not be arrogant or feel something when actually there is nothing.

    • Taking the form of a bondservant. It means that we serve, not to be served.
    • Coming in the likeness of men.
    • Humbling Himself . It means that we must confess our sins.
    • Being obedient to the point of death until the flesh does not speak anymore.

As a result, the Veil is torn and we experience God’s glory, namely the power of Jesus’ name.

    The results are as follows

    • We experience victory powerover the trinity of Satan, the source of problems, sins up to the peak, tears, and sorrows. As a result, all problems even the impossible one can be solved. We can live in righteousness and rejoice.
      Philippians 2:10
2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

    • We experience lifting up powerwhen we are in fall. Failure can be changed into success.
      Philippians 2:9
2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,

    • We experience renewal poweruntil our tongue does not stumble in word.
      Philippians 2:11
2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

      James 3:2
3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

We can be honest saying "yes" if "yes", "no" if "no", until we are perfect.

      Revelation 19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."

We can welcome Jesus’ second coming and enter New Jerusalem forever.

Jesus is obedient to the point of death and He gets the power in His name. There is power of Jesus’ name in the Holy Communion.

God blesses you.
