Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are still discussing Revelation 2-3.
According to Tabernacle Teaching, it refers to the seven sprinklings of blood before the Ark of the Covenant.
It means the seven epistlesfor the seven churches of the Gentiles or the last sanctificationdone by Jesus for the seven churches of the Gentilesor the congregation in the last days to make them perfect or without blemish like Jesus. They become the perfect Bride of heaven who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds to meet Him, the Heavenly Bridegroom, forever.

There are seven churches of the Gentilesthat experience the sprinkling of blood as follows.

  5. The church in SARDIS(Revelation 3: 1-6) that experiences spiritual revival and their spirituality is strong= being watchful(it has been explained in Prayer Service in Surabaya, January 21, 2015)

We are learning the fifth church, namely the one is SARDIS.
Revelation 3: 1
3: 1. "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, 'These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

Jesus appears in two things to them as follows.

  1. 'has the seven stars' => so that the congregation becomes His property rights forever (it has been explained in Prayer Service in Surabaya, January 21, 2015).
  2. 'has the seven Spirits of God' => to awaken them who seem alive, but actually dead (it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, January 25, 2015).

Revelation 3: 2-3
3:2 "Be watchful, and strengthenthe things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.
3:3 "Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if
you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

THE LAST SANCTIFICATIONto the church in Sardis is 'Be watchful, and strengthen.' It means so that the church in Sardis experiences spiritual revival and the spirituality becomes strong(with extra power), and KEEPS WATCHFUL.

There must be two things kept by the church in Sardis as follows.

  1. 'for I have not found your works perfect before God' (being watchful in service and ministry to God or consecration).
  2. 'I will come upon you as a thief' (being watchful related to the second coming of Jesus).

Tonight we are learning BEING WATCHFUL IN THE SERVICE AND MINISTRY OR CONSECRATION.
Luke 12: 35-36
12:35 "Let your waist be girdedand your lamps burning;
12:36 "and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. "

There are three kinds of being watchful in the service and ministry as follows.

  1. 'Let your waist be girded'
    Ephesians 6: 14
6:14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

The belt refers to the truth.
    John 17: 17
17:17 "Sanctifythem by Your truth. Your word is truth.

The truth means something that sanctifies. It is the Word.
Thus, the truth is the Word that sanctifies us or the true teaching Wordas follows

    • The Word that is written in the Bible.
    • The Word that is revealed by God through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible or the Word spoken by Jesus.

The true teaching Word is like the flame of fire.
The consecration of the church in Sardis is not perfect, but almost dead or without the fire anymore.

    Jeremiah 23: 29
23:29 "Is not My word like a fire?" says the LORD, "And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

The sanctification Word is the flame of fire we have to keep in our ministry.

Our waist is girded means that we are watchful in the true teaching Word or THE FLAME OF FIRE OF GOD'S WORD.
Every servant of God MUSTkeep and obeythe true teaching Word to have the SANCTIFICATIONdone by the flame of fire of God's Word.

Why must the servant of God experience the sanctification done by the flame of His Word?
    Malachi 3: 1-3
3:1 "Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," Says the LORD of hosts.
3:2 "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears?
For He is like a refiner's fire And like launderer's soap.
3:3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify
the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness.

Because the sanctification done by the flame of God's Word will make our service and ministry please and satisfy His heart('That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness').

As a result, God also girds His waistto serve, preserve, and satisfiy our life and marriage. He does not fool us!

    Luke 12: 37
12:37 "Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.

    Malachi 3: 3
3:3He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purgethem as gold and silver, That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness.

If our ministry is right, we can reach the perfection.
The sanctification done by the flame of fire or the true teaching Word will result in the servant of God that is pure up to the deepest part of the heart like pure silver and gold.

    SILVER
    Proverbs 10: 20a
    10:20 The tongueof the righteous is choice silver;

The silver refers to the people who have been delivered from sin until the tongue can speak right words. There is no lie, but HONESTYin saying "yes" if yes and "no"if no.

    GOLD
The tools in Tabernacle were made of woold overlaid with pure gold. The wood refers to brittle human, but it is overlaid with gold, namely godly characteristicswhose peak is obedienceuntil the flesh does not speak anymore.
Jesus is obedient until He dies on the cross. As for us, we must be obedient until our flesh does not speak anymore.

If we become like the silver and gold or honesty and obedience, we are entrusted the power of Jesus' name.

    Acts 3: 5-6
3:5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
    3:6 Then Peter said, "
Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christof Nazareth, rise up and walk."

We have the power of resurrection in the name of Jesus to defeat the paralysisas follows.

    • Paralysis in the service and ministry, namely boredom or weakness, there is no progress, but decline.
    • Paralysis in marriage and household, namely bad relationship, not serving well
      one another.
    • Paralysis in finance.

Not having paralysismeans that we can endureuntil Jesus comes a second time.

  2. The lamps keep burning.
    Luke 12: 35
    12:35 "Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning;

It means that we always have the oilor the anointing of Holy Spirit. We overflow in Holy Spirit or have the FLAME OF FIRE OF HOLY SPIRIT.
In the upper room of Jerusalem, God sent Holy Spirit as the tongues of fire. That is the flame of Holy Spirit.

The lamps keep burning means that we are watchful in the flame of fire of Holy Spirit.

    Leviticus 21: 12
21:12 'nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.

The servant of God MUST always be in the Holy Place or shepherding pen so that he keeps on having the anointing of Holy Spirit and overflowing in Him. It refers to the perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.

    • Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service.
    • Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
    • Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service.

The three kinds of tool have the flame of fire as follows.

    • Golden Candlestick has the fire in the lamp.
    • Table of Showbread has the fire in the burnt incense upon the bread.
    • Golden Altar of Incense has the fire in the burnt incense.

Being watchful in the flame of fire of Holy Spirit means that we are always in the shepherding pen or SHEPHERDED.

How great a servant of God is, he will transgress the holiness and lose the anointing of
Holy Spirit is he is outside the Holy Place. His spirituality is dry and his ministry is dead. The fire is quenched.

    Romans 12: 11
    12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

The signof being watchful in or having the flame of fire of Holy Spirit is BEING FAITHFUL AND FERVENT IN SPIRITin doing the service and ministry to God.
As a result, such servant of God is able to pass through the darkness of the world as well as the peak of sinor sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage in the last days.

The sins concerning eating-drinking are smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse.
The sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage are sexuality sins with all its kinds, sexual deviation, and wrong marriage.

We are able to pass through all of them. We do not fall in sin, but always have the light.

    Romans 1: 26-27
1:26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
1:27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lustfor one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

If one lags in diligenceor there is no faithfulness and fervency in spirit anymore, even the lamp has been quenched, he mustbe burnt in the lust. He falls in peak sin and is swallowed by the darkness of the night. It happens many times when Jesus will come a second time.

For example, the youngest son left the field of his father with the riches of the heritage. He was great and successful, but then he was only in the field of swine.

    Hebrews 10: 25-26
10:25 not forsakingthe assembling of ourselves together, as is the mannerof some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
    10:26 For if we sin
willfullyafter we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

'the manner' = habitual sin one does without feeling guilty, but pride.

There are many peoplewho are not faithful in the service and ministrywhen the second coming of Jesus is drawing near. They fall in the habitual and intentional sin.

    • Habitual sin= one does not feel guilty when he is not faithful in doing the service and ministry to God.
    • Intentional sin= one deliberately does not serve and minister to God. Consequently, he falls in peak sin and perishes forever.

The highest advice in the last days is when we give advice one another to keep faithful and fervent in spirit in doing the service and ministry to God or be watchful in the flame of fire of Holy Spirit.

  3. Being watchful in the atmosphere of wedding feast.
    Luke 12: 36
12:36 "and you yourselves be like men who wait fortheir master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately.

There are two things that show the atmosphere of wedding feast as follows.

    • Heavenly joy.
Thus, do not force others in the ministry and never do the ministry because of being forced. We must serve to God willingly and there will be heavenly joy.

    • The true foundation of marriage is THE FLAME OF FIRE OF GOD'S LOVE.

We can get such atmosphere through WORSHIP PRAYER.
Jesus invited His three disciples, namely Peter, James, and John, to go up on a high mountain. Then, they said "Lord, it is good for us to be here, let us make here three tabernacles." They did not want to go down.
In the gospel according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John is written that Peter was there when Jesus broke five loaves and two fish for feeding five thousand people and performed miracle to revive the dead, but he did not say that he was joyful. Nevertheless, on the mountain of worship he said "Lord, it is good for us to be here".

The worship prayer is the connection between the head and body or the neck. It refers to the relationship in the marriage. The head is the husband and the body is the wife.
The worship prayer is the peak of our service and ministryto God.

    Matthew 17: 2, 4
17:2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
17:4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, "
Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."

Thus, the atmosphere of wedding feast is in being watchful in the flame of fire of God's love.

The result of the worship prayeris joy and life renewal, beginning from our heart or facelike the face of Jesus that changed where there were Moses and Elijah.
    MOSES
He was disobedient or hard-hearted at the end of his life by strikingthe rock whereas God had commanded him to speakto it to yield its water. It happened because he was indignant to the house of Israel. The water came out of it, but God said that Moses could not reach Canaan, but the grave.

    Numbers 20: 7-8, 11-12
20:7 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
20:8 "Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together.
Speakto the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals."
20:11 Then Moses lifted his hand and
struckthe rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.
20:12 Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore
you shall not bring this assemblyinto the land which I have given them."

We learn about the life renewal from Moses. He was a meek person. Nevertheless, he was hard-hearted or disobedientin facing the house of Israel. Through the worship prayer, the hard heart can be changed into the meek or obedientone like a baby. Moses could reach Canaan.

    ELIJAH
He could kill four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal. Nevertheless, he was hopeless, doubtful, and disappointedin facing Jezebel.

    1 Kings 19: 2, 4
19:2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, "So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time."
19:4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that
he might die, and said, "It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!"

Such condition was renewed on the mountain of worship to be the heart that believed and entrusted his life to God.

Hard heart and disobedience like Moses as well as hopelessness and disappointment like Elijah will cause weariness and heavy burden.

On the contrary, if we are humble and meek until we can be obedient and believe or entrust our life to God, we will have PEACEand all things are easy and light in our marriage, ministry, and whole life.

    Matthew 11: 28-30
11:28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am
gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
    11:30 "For My yoke is
    easyand My burden is light."

We must worship God many moreto get the atmosphere of wedding feast in our marriage, household, and service and ministry to God.

As the conclusion, being watchful in the service and ministry to God or consecration means as follows
.

  1. Being watchful in the flame of fire of God's Word or holiness.
  2. Being watchful in the flame of fire of Holy Spirit or faithfulness and fervency in spirit.
  3. Being watchful in the flame of fire of God's love or peace.

Hebrews 1: 7
1:7 And of the angels He says: "Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire."

The holy, faithful, fervent in spirit, and peaceful ministers of God are the same as the flame of fire.

Daniel 7: 9
7:9 "I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire;

The throne of God is made of flame of fire.
The holy, faithful, fervent in spirit, and peaceful ministers of God are the same as the flame of fire.

Thus, the holy, faithful, fervent in spirit, and peaceful ministers of God are the same as His throne in the world. This is our duty as the minister of God, namely bringing down His throne in the world. There is the atmosphere of God's throne wherever we serve to Him.

Be careful! One becomes the throne of Satanwhen he is unholy, unfaithful, not fervent in spirit, and not peaceful.

Psalm 11: 4
11:4 The LORD is in His holy temple, The LORD'S throneis in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.

If a servant of God becomes His throne, He is looking at us from heaven with the merciful sight. He understands, pays attention to us, cares, and struggles for us.

The results of having the merciful sight of God are as follows.

  • We experience the power of God's preservationmiraculously.
    Mark 6: 34-37
6:34 And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassionfor them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things.
6:35 When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, "This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late.
6:36 "Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat."
6:37 But He answered and said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said to Him, "Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?"

Five loaves and two fish could feed the five thousand people, and there were twelve baskets remained. This is a miracle. We get the power of God's preservation in the shepherdingsystem.
Thus, God longs to preserve us miraculously means that He longs for shepherding us well and correctly.

There are two kinds of preservation power as follows.

    • Physically, the merciful hand of God is able to preserve our life in the midst of difficulties and impossibilities of the world.
    • Spiritually, the merciful hand of God is able to preserve our spiritual life so that we do not experience the spiritual famine or dryness. We will not fall in sin up to the peak, but experience satisfaction and live in the righteousness.

  • We experience miraculous power of healing.
    Mark 1: 40-42
1:40 Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You can make me clean."
    1:41 Then Jesus,
moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."
1:42 As soon as He had spoken, immediately
the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.

In the past, leprosy could not be healed. For example, Naaman was leprous. A little girl of the captives of Israel who worked for Naaman said that there was a prophet in Israel that was able to cure the leprosy. The king of Syria sent a letter to the king of Israel to cure Naaman and he got angry because it was impossible.

    2 Kings 5: 7
5:7 And it happened, when the king of Israel read the letter, that he tore his clothes and said, "Am I God, to kill and make alive, that this man sends a man to me to heal him of his leprosy? Therefore please consider, and see how he seeks a quarrel with me."

Nevertheless, for God there is nothing impossible.

    The leprosy means as follows.

    • Physical leprosy or disease that is impossible to be healed.
    • Spiritually it means uncleanness(sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage), self-truth, and diseases in the marriage and household.
The self-truth makes division in the marriage and household.

  • We have the power of resurrection.
    Luke 7: 13-15
7:13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassionon her and said to her, "Do not weep."
7:14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you,
    arise."
7:15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.

    • It is able to remove all impossible things and restore the dead.
    • It is the renewal. We die to sin and rise in the new life. It starts from water baptism.
We are renewed from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
The power of renewal will continue to New Jerusalem. It starts from there is no lie.

The lie is the source of tears and problem. One who loves the lie will not enter New Jerusalem.

If there is no lie, our tears will be wiped away. The more we are renewed continually, the more our tears are wiped away until we are changed to be perfect when Jesus comes a second time. We can enter New Jerusalem and there is no more tear. We are with Him forever.

God blesses you.
