General Service in Malang, March 01, 2015 (Sunday Morning)
Peace
and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation
2-3 is about the seven times of the sprinkling of blood in front of
the Ark of Covenant. It refers to the last sanctification to the
church in the last days, until we become perfect and blameless as
Him. We become the Heavenly bride who is ready to welcome Jesus'
second coming.
No
matter how great a church in the last days is, if there is a blame,
they will be left on His second coming.
Revelation
2:17
2:17
"He
who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To
him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I
will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written
which no one knows except him who receives it."'
God's
promises to the church in Pergamos who overcomes and wants to be set
free from the doctrine of Balaam and Nicolaitans are as follows.
- Receiving
the hidden manna.
- Receiving
a white stone on which a new name is written.
We
are still learning about the hidden manna.
Manna
is the bread from Heaven, that is the Word of God whose secret is
revealed through a verse explains the other verses in the Bible. It
equals to the true teaching Word or the Word that is sharper than any
two-edged sword.
Manna
equals to the angel's bread, meaning the shepherding Word, that is
the true teaching Word which is entrusted by God to a pastor to be
preached to the congregation faithfully, continually, and
repetitively, to become the food for them so they grow to perfection.
There
are three usefulnesses of manna [Exodus 16:16-36] as follows.
- Manna
for caring the daily life [Exodus 16:16-21].
- Manna
for the Sabbath day [Exodus 16:22-31].
- Manna
that is kept in the golden pot [Exodus 16:32-36].
It
is not a loss if we gather manna now, since it gives us guarantee for
our present and future life, up to the eternal one forever.
Exodus
16:22-23
16:22
And
so it was, on the sixth day, that
they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all
the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
16:23
Then
he said to them, "This is
what
the Lord has said: 'Tomorrow is
a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake
today,
and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that
remains, to be kept until morning.'"
On
the sixth day, the Israelites gather twice as much manna, that is two
omers. One omer is for the sixth day (6000 years), that refers to the
last days. Another one is for the seventh day, that is the one
thousand years kingdom of peace or the future Paradise.
2
Peter 3:8
3:8
But,
beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is
as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
In
the last days, the Gentiles must increase the effort to gather twice
as much the shepherding Word. It is used for two things as follows.
- To
increase the sanctification until we reach perfection as Jesus and
we are worthy to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.
- To
increase the peace so we can enter the one thousand years kingdom of
peace or the future Paradise. The more holy we are, the more
peaceful we feel.
Revelation
20:1-3
20:1
Then
I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the
bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
20:2
He
laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the
Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
20:3
and
he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal
on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the
thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be
released for a little while.
When
we are in the one thousand years kingdom of peace, the Devil and
Satan are bound for a thousand years and cast into the bottomless
pit. They cannot fail us anymore.
We
must be watchful since before they are bound, now they are trying to
bind the servant or the children of God so we cannot return to the
Paradise.
There
are two types of chain as follows.
- The
chain from Satan, that is the chain of sin up to its peak, that is
sin concerning eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, consuming
drugs) and marrying-being given in marriage (sexuality sin with all
its variety, sexual deviation, marriage destruction).
Ecclesiastes
7:26 7:26
And
I find more bitter than death
The woman whose heart is snares and
nets, Whose hands are
fetters.
He who pleases God shall escape from her, But the sinner
shall be trapped by her.
If
a servant or child of God is chained by Satan, the consequences are
as follows.
- Experiencing
beating or suffering from Satan.
1
Peter 2:20 2:20
For
what credit is
it
if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But
when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is
commendable before God.
One
example is a man who goes down from Jerusalem (spiritual center) to
Jericho (world trade center). It is the illustration of one with
degradation of the spiritual life.
Luke
10:30 10:30
Then
Jesus answered and said: "A certain man
went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who
stripped him of his clothing, wounded him,
and departed, leaving him
half dead.
This
man is completely robbed and wounded until he is half dead. If God
does not help him, he will die, meaning dying spiritually up to
everlasting perdition. To be helped, he must return to
Jerusalem, meaning he must increase his spiritual life.
- Being
built as the Babylon or the false church that is unfaithful and
will be destroyed forever.
Revelation
17:5 17:5
And
on her forehead a name was
written:
MYSTERY,
BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS
OF THE EARTH.
- The
chain from God, that is being willing to suffer because of Him and
the true teaching Word.
2
Timothy 2:9 2:9
for
which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even
to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained.
It
equals to the way of the cross, that is free from the chain of
Satan.
Acts
22:25 22:25
And
as they bound him with thongs, Paul said to the centurion who stood
by, "Is it lawful for you to scourge a man who is a Roman, and
uncondemned?"
Paul
the apostle is not only willing to be chained, but also he is
willing to be bound with thongs, to be beaten and whipped. Being
recumbent means lying back to back with the earth and facing God. Do
not become as Judas who falls headlong facing the earth. Thus,
the attitude in facing the cross because of Jesus is being
recumbent. We stay back to back with the earth and do not use the
ways from the earth. It is a suffering, but we face Jesus as the
High Priest in glory.
Acts
1:18 1:18
(Now
this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling
headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed
out.
Falling
headlong means facing the earth and staying back to back with God.
The consequence is he bursts open in the middle and all his entrails
gush out. He is rotten and destroyed forever.
The practices
of being recumbent or facing God only are as follows.
- Being
obedient to His will and righteousness, whatever the risks we must
face.
1
John 2:17 2:17
And
the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the
will of God abides forever.
It
means as follows.
- We
dare to live in righteousness and oppose unrighteousness.
- We
do His command and stay away from His prohibition.
One
of the contents of the world is the pride of life. A proud life
will be disobedient and oppose God frequently.
- Persevering
in worship prayer or in three main services.
- Persevering
in the Word is persevering in Bible Study Service (Table of
Showbread).
- Persevering
in Holy Spirit is persevering in General Service (Golden
Candlestick).
If there is the Word and Holy Spirit, there will
be the true worship.
- Persevering
in worship prayer is persevering in Prayer Service (Golden Altar
of Incense).
Acts
16:24-26 16:24
Having
received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and
fastened their feet in the stocks. 16:25
But
at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God,
and the prisoners were listening to them. 16:26
Suddenly
there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison
were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and
everyone's chains were loosed.
In
the prison, Paul the apostle prays and worships God. What happens
is a great earthquake, a shake that gets larger. We must not stop
but we must keep worshiping Him until the problems are solved. A
larger problem is let happen so the anointing of Holy Spirit that
we receive is stronger, until it can set us free from problems.
Acts
2:1-4 2:1
When
the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord
in one place. 2:2
And
suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty
wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 2:3
Then
there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one
sat upon each of them. 2:4
And
they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with
other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The
disciples persevere in worship prayer in the upper room in
Jerusalem until Holy Spirit is poured. We are anointed, filled,
until overflown with Holy Spirit.
The usefulnesses of Holy
Spirit are as follows.
- Holy
Spirit is as of a rushing mighty wind with the power to divide the
Red Sea.
Acts
2:2 2:2
And
suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty
wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
Exodus
14:21-22,16 14:21
Then
Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the
sea to go back
by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry
land,
and the waters were divided. 14:22
So
the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry
ground,
and the waters were
a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. 14:16 But
lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and
divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground
through the midst of the sea.
It
means as follows.
- The
miraculous caring power over our physical life from God. There is
also caring for our spiritual life, so we can live in
righteousness and holiness. We are set free from the bondage of
sins.
- The
helping power from God. There is a way out from every problem
even the impossible one.
- The
power to give us beautiful and successful future right in His
time.
- The
power of God to use us in the revival of Holy Spirit in the last
days. We cannot be blocked or obstructed by anything.
- Holy
Spirit with the renewal power renews us from the flesh man to the
spiritual one.
Acts
2:1-3 2:1
When
the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord
in one place. 2:2
And
suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty
wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 2:3
Then
there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one
sat upon each of them.
Life
renewal is the greatest miracle. Thomas who has a doubtful heart
is renewed to believe and fully surrender his life to God, until
he is willing to die for Him. Peter denies God and lies, but he is
renewed so he can say right words and preach the true teaching
Word. If our heart, words, and deeds are renewed, we can serve
God with faithfulness and fervency in spirit until the end line.
James
3:2 3:2
For
we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word,
he is
a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
When
Jesus comes a second time, we will be renewed in the twinkling of
an eye to become perfect as Him. We do not stumble in word
anymore, we only cry out "Alleluia".
God
blesses us.
