Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 2-3 is about the seven times of the sprinkling of blood in front of the Ark of Covenant. It refers to the last sanctification to the seven churches of the Gentiles or the church in the last days, until they are perfect and blameless as Him to be ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming.

Revelation 2:17
2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’

God’s promises to the church in Pergamos who overcomes and wants to experience the last sanctification from Him are as follows.

  1. Receiving the hidden manna.
  2. Receiving a white stone on which a new name is written.

The hidden manna is the bread from Heaven, that is the Word of God whose secret is revealed through a verse explains the other verses in the Bible.
The hidden manna is also the angel’s bread, meaning the shepherding Word. It is the true teaching Word that is entrusted by God to a pastor to be preached to the congregation faithfully, continually, and repetitively, to become the spiritual food for them so they grow to spiritual maturity.

There are three usefulnesses of manna [Exodus 16:16-36] as follows.

  1. Manna for caring the daily life [Exodus 16:16-21].
  2. Manna for the Sabbath day [Exodus 16:22-31].
  3. Manna that is kept in the golden pot [Exodus 16:32-36].

It is not a loss if we use our time to gather manna these days, since it gives us guarantee for our present and future life, up to the eternal one forever.

We are learning about manna that is kept in the golden pot. It is written in Exodus 16:32-36 and in the New Testament.

Hebrews 9:4
9:4 which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which werethe golden pot that had the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;

The term in the New Testament is the golden pot that had the manna. The spiritual meanings are as follows.

  1. The perfect or permanent faith as the pure gold.
It is started with the right faith, firm faith, up to the perfect faith that is the works of faith.

  2. Life renewal from the flesh man (clay pot) to the spiritual one as Jesus (golden pot).

What must be renewed?
Ezekiel 11:19-20
11:19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
11:20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

Flesh man must experience renewal of the heart from the hard heart to the obedient one as the heart of Jesus. He is obedient until He dies on the cross for the will of Father.
If the heart is renewed, our whole life will also be renewed until we are perfect as Him.

The process of the renewal of the heart, or the process of the renewal of our whole life is as follows.

  1. Water and Holy Spirit baptism (the Court of Tabernacle).
    Matthew 3:16-17
3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came upimmediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
    3:
17 And suddenly a voice camefrom heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

After Jesus comes up from the grave of water, Holy Spirit like a dove descends upon Him.
Through water and Holy Spirit baptism, we have a new heart that is like the heart of a dove or a sincere heart.
    Acts 19:1-6
19:1 And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples
    19:
2 he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?”So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.”
19:3 And he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?”So they said, “Into John’s baptism.”
19:4 Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”
19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
    19:
6 And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.

The steps of the Gentiles to receive the heart like a dove’s are as follows.

    1. Believing Jesus as the only Savior (the Gate).
    2. Repenting, meaning stopping sinning to return to God, dying to sins (the Altar of Burnt Offerings).
    3. Water baptism (the Brazen Laver).
      Romans 6:4
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

The true water baptism is one who has died to sins must be buried in water together with Jesus, to be raised together with Him to receive new life or Heavenly life.

    4. Holy Spirit baptism (the door of Tabernacle).
Holy Spirit baptism also results in new life, that is Heavenly life.
Through water and Holy Spirit baptism, the Gentiles receive a new life with a new heart, that is a sincere heart. The heart is filled and anointed by Holy Spirit. A sincere heart has no purpose at all. It is without hypocrisy, pretense, bitterness, envy, grudge, evil, or uncleanness. A sincere heart is able to differ the right and the wrong matters, started with being able to differ the true teaching Word and the wrong one.

If we have a sincere heart like a dove, we can become a house of prayer. We can minister God in faithfulness and righteousness. We can worship Him in righteousness. Thus, we feel His presence to help us and give us joy, as well as to do everything we need.
Be careful since in the house of God there are many dove sellers, meaning being insincere and only looking for physical benefits. The consequence is the house of God becomes a den of thieves that leads to perdition. Judas Iscariot is a great apostle but he steals the belonging of God and kisses Him to sell Him. Judas keeps becoming a broken clay pot that will be destroyed forever.
This morning, if we are as a broken clay pot, let us come to God since He is able to renew us to become the golden pot through believing, repenting, and being baptized in water and Holy Spirit baptism.

  2. Through the right and good shepherding pen (the Holy Place).
    Exodus 2:11-13
2:11 Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.
    2:
12 So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
    2:
13 And when he went out the second day, behold, two Hebrew men were fighting, and he said to the one who did the wrong, “Why are you striking your companion?”

Moses was educated for forty years in Egypt, but he remembered to serve his brothers.
Education from the world only produces hard heart that relies on everything from the world (smartness, richness, position, et cetera).
Moses served God with a hard heart and the consequence is he failed and became a killer. He scattered the body of Christ. Moses was as a broken clay pot.

But God gave him chance to run to Midian and became a shepherd.
    Exodus 2:15
2:15 When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well.

    Exodus 3:1-3
3:1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
    3:
2 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush wasnot consumed.
    3:
3 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”

A shepherding is the place to run from the perdition by Satan (Pharaoh).
Where must we be shepherded? We must be shepherded as a branch that abides on the true vine. We are shepherded to God or the true teaching Word. If one is not shepherded, he is as a branch disconnected from the true vine. He becomes as a dry branch and has a hard heart. It can be seen from a dry mouth, that likes to lie, gossip, et cetera. A dry branch is only meant to be burnt completely. Especially for the Gentiles, if they are not shepherded, they will become as a dog and swine. Dog refers to useless words. Swine refers to sinful deeds up to the peak of sins, that is sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. But if we want to attach to the true vine, someday we will bear sweet fruits.

Everyone who is shepherded must stay within the shepherding pen. In the Tabernacle, it refers to the Holy Place, where there are three types of equipment as follows.

    1. Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His gifts. We experience the work of the flame of Holy Spirit.

    2. Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the true teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ. We experience the work of the flame of the Word of God.

    3. Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love. We experience the work of the flame of His love.

    Exodus 3:2
3:2 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush wasnot consumed.

No matter how great a flesh man is, he will be destroyed by everything from this world. But if he is shepherded, the flesh man as a bush will experience the work of the flame of the Word, Holy Spirit, and love. The bush will not be consumed by fire, but we are renewed so a hard heart can become gentle.

    Numbers 12:1-3
12:1 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
    12:
2 So they said, “Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?” And the Lord heard it.
    12:
3 (Now the man Moses wasvery humble, more than all men who wereon the face of the earth.)

Moses is able to forgive and love the others as loving himself. He is able to love his enemy and pray for they who are hostile to him.

    Revelation 12:1
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.

Moses marries Zipporah who is a Gentile. It means if we can minister with a gentle heart, the Israelites and the Gentiles can be united (it is started with ministering family, shepherding, inter-shepherding). But if one ministers with a hard heart, he cannot be rebuked.

  3. Through the sprinkling of blood (the Most Holy Place).
    1 Peter 4:12-14
    4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
    4:
13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
    4:
14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you,for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

Holy Spirit or the Spirit of glory is able to renew our life so we become strong and of good courage. It equals to having an obedient heart whatever the risks we must face.

    1 Kings 19:4-5,7
19:4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I amno better than my fathers!”
19:5 Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise andeat.”
    19:
7 And the angel of the Lord came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise andeat, because the journey istoo great for you.”

Elijah the prophet is desperate in facing false teaching and impossible temptation. However, he becomes strong again after eating two times, that is the Word and Holy Communion.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego face false teaching and false worship.
    Daniel 3:16-18
3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
    3:
17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver usfrom your hand, O king.
    3:
18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

But they keep being strong and of good courage, meaning as follows.

    1. Keeping holding fast the true teaching Word.
    2. Keeping living in righteousness and not doing sins whatever the risks are.
    3. Keeping worshiping God, believing, and fully surrendering our life to Him.

    Daniel 3:25
3:25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

The result is Holy Spirit is able to care our life in the middle of impossibilities. Holy Spirit is able to solve all impossible problems right on His time. Holy Spirit is able to give us beautiful and successful future. Physical and spiritual miracles will happen. Holy Spirit sets us free from all chains so we are used in the revival of building the body of Christ. It is until Holy Spirit renews our life from the flesh man to the spiritual one as Him. It is started with a shining countenance and a mouth that only worships God. We are not shaken whatever we face. Thus, He will be with us until we reach the glorious clouds.

God blesses us.
