Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 22:6-17 is about the coming of the Lord Jesus.
Revelation 22:622:6 Then he said to me, "These words are faithful and true." And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.
The Lord has preached the true and faithful words or the true teaching Word that shows all things that have not happened yet, but must happen for sure, especially about Jesus' second coming in the glory as the King of all kings or the Heavenly Bridegroom. It is the same as the Bride Tidings. Through the prophets, John the apostle, up to the servants of God whom He sends, it contains the seven warnings, rebukes, or advice to be delivered to the congregation as His bride.
Revelation 22:7-17 refers to the seven warnings to the congregation.
The first warning is about blessed are those who keeps the prophetic Word.
Revelation 22:7 22:7 "Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book." The prophetic Word means as follows:
- The Word that is revealed through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible or the true teaching Word.
- The Word which reveals all things which have not happened yet, but must happen for sure, especially about Jesus' second coming in the glory as the King of all kings or the Heavenly Bridegroom on the glorious clouds. It refers to the Bride Tidings.
Revelation 1:31:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.Revelation 22:722:7 "Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book." Someday, there will be no opportunity anymore to read and hear the Word. It means as follows:
- The spiritual famine happens at that time.
Matthew15:32
15:32 Now Jesus called His disciples to Himself and said, "I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way."
Consequently, there is spiritual fainting, namely neither being dead nor alive, neither being cold not hot. It means being lukewarm like the church of the Laodiceans.
Not being hot means unfaithfulness or not being fervent in spirit in the service and ministry to God.
Not being cold means not being peaceful, but there is envy, hatred, revenge, or bitterness, so the life is not in rest, but weariness and heavy burden.
The life is like vomit or in meaningless words such as gossip, lie, slander, and blasphemy.
Amos 8:11-14
8:11 "Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord GOD, "That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the LORD.
8:12 They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, But shall not find it.
8:13 "In that day the fair virgins And strong young men Shall faint from thirst.
8:14 Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, Who say, 'As your god lives, O Dan!' And, 'As the way of Beersheba lives!' They shall fall and never rise again."
Falling and never rising again or being dead spiritually means falling in sins up to the peak, enjoying in sins, and not being willing to repent until being unable to repent like Satan.
Therefore, how dirty or unclean we are, we can still be helped, risen, and lifted up from fall to return to the righteous and holy life if we are still able to hear the true teaching Word.
Amos 8:5
8:5 Saying: "When will the New Moon be past, That we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, That we may trade wheat? Making the ephah small and the shekel large, Falsifying the scales by deceit,
The cause of the spiritual famine is the false scale, namely making the ephah (the scale for wheat or the Word) small and the shekel (the scale for money) large. It means as follows:
- Only pursuing physical things until there is no opportunity to serve and minister to God or look for the Word.
- Serving and ministering to God for looking for the physical things such as money, position, and so on.
- Selling the bad wheat.
Amos 8:6
8:6 That we may buy the poor for silver, And the needy for a pair of sandals--Even sell the bad wheat?"
It means enjoying the Word which is the tale, kidding, without the verses in the Bible, even the false teachings, because they are comfortable for the flesh.
The true attitude so that we do not enter the spiritual famine is making the ephah large and the shekel small. It means that we must willingly sacrifice all things for gathering the Word like Joseph who collected the grain until being able to pass the famine and unite the twelve tribes of Israel.
It is like the Israelites collecting manna doubly on the sixth day.
Exodus 16:16, 22
16:16 "This is the thing which the LORD has commanded: 'Let every man gather it according to each one's need, one omer for each person, according to the number of persons; let every man take for those who are in his tent.' "
16:22 And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twiceas much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
Psalm 78:24-25
78:24 Had rained down manna on them to eat, And given them of the bread of heaven.
78:25 Men ate angels' food; He sent them food to the full.
Manna refers to the angels' food or the shepherding Word, namely the Word which God entrusts to a pastor to preach to the congregation faithfully and repetitively to be the food that can grow our spirituality to reach maturity or perfection.
The double Manna refers to the abundant shepherding Word for facing the last days when the world is in the darkest and most difficult condition with the shaking in all aspects. It is also for facing Jesus' second coming.
The way to gather the double manna is as follows:
- Through being shepherded or always dwelling in the shepherding pen.
- Through the fellowship.
As a result, 'I shall not want' or we have the double preservation, namely the physical and spiritual ones until we have no flaw or we are as perfect as Jesus is.
- The Word must have been ingrained in our life or it becomes our characteristic.
Through the Bible Study Service with the Holy Communion, we hasten the process of the Word's being ingrained in our life or the characteristics of Jesus' being the characteristics in our life.
Proverbs31:10
31:10 Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.
The characteristic of the wife or church must be virtuous or wise.
Ecclesiastes10:2
10:2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand, But a fool's heart at his left.
Matthew25:32-33
25:32 "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
25:33 "And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
It means being the sheep that is shepherded well and correctly until the beast or Satan cannot pounce at us with the sins, temptations, and false teachings. We can love God and other people until we get the eternal life.
Matthew7:24
7:24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
We can hear and obey the Word.
1 Peter3:5-7
3:5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands,
3:6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.
3:7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
It is like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham, knowing the border in the saying.
The husband loves the wife as his own life and does not do bitterly toward her as well as knows the border in the saying.
As a result, the prayer was answered and the door of the womb was opened until Isaac was born. The reproach was taken.
Genesis18:13
18:13 And the LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh, saying, 'Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?'
Genesis21:6-7
21:6 And Sarah said, "God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me."
21:7 She also said, "Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age."
The bitter smile is changed into the joyful one. The doors in the world are opened. We build the marriage or household on the rock. So it becomes firm up to the perfection.
- We become the family of God.
Mark3:35
3:35 "For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother."
Although we are not siblings, we can be close like siblings if we are obedient to the Word.
On the contrary, the husband and wife, or siblings can be far away or separated if there is disobedience to the Word.
1 Timothy3:14-15
3:14 These things I write to you, though I hope to come to you shortly;
3:15 but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
One who is obedient to the Word is the family of God or the pillar. It means being faithful, responsible, and willing to sacrifice.
The example of the pillar is Abraham.
Hebrews11:8
11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
Genesis12:1-2
12:1 Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you.
12:2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.
It means being blessed to become blessings.
Hebrews11:11-12
11:11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.
11:12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude--innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.
Abraham was tested. He was not doubtful to the promise of God or the true teaching Word. Just be sure that God is faithful and He will do His promise!
Hebrews11:17
11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
We willingly sacrifice all things for God by the encouragement of the Word.
Genesis22:2
22:2 Then He said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
2 Chronicles3:1
3:1 Now Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
The direction of our sacrifice is in line to the edification of Christ's body. We put Jesus as the Head who is responsible until being dead on the Hill of the Skull.
Genesis22:12, 14
22:12 And He said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me."
22:14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, "In the Mount of The LORD it shall be provided."
The relationship between the body and the head is in the neck. It refers to the worship prayer.
We can worship God with a broken heart until submitting our infirmities physically and spiritually.
As a result, we meet Jehovah Jireh or the Lord who provides the things which do not exist yet for preserving our life. The impossible things are made possible. God helps to finish all impossible problems. He gives the beautiful successful future life.
James2:21-22
2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
2:22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
God makes our faith firm and tested up to the perfection.
God blesses you.
