Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pentecost refers to the pouring of Holy Spirit according to the promise of God to the disciples and the people who believe Jesus. God knows that we are only the man of clay who cannot do anything without Holy Spirit; we cannot even blink.

The whole Revelation 16 refers to the pouring of the seven bowls of God's last wrath on the world as follows:

  1. [Verse2] The loathsome sores on men --> health.
  2. [Verse3] The sea becomes blood --> the source of economy.
  3. [Verse4] The water becomes blood--> human's need of life.
  4. [Verse8-9] The sun becomes the scorching fire --> the need of men.

Actually, the four things are the great blessings of God for our life, but we often do not realize or admit it until never giving thanks to God and judgment comes.

ad.4 The pouring of the fourth bowl.
Revelation 16:8
16:8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.

It is on the sun, so it becomes the scorching fire upon men.

Actually, the sun refers to the great, just, and perfect love of God which is radiated to the sinful men so that they can be as perfect as Jesus is. Rejecting it, it will be the scorching fire.

There are five things which will be judged by the scorching fire as follows:

  1. Sins up to the peak like what Sodom and Gomorrah have experienced.
  2. The priests or servants of God who work with the strange or other fire which does not come from God.
  3. The priests and servants of God who are greedy.
  4. The priests or servants of God who usually leave the service and ministry to God.
  5. Men who like oppressing or persecuting others

ad.2. The priests or servants of God who work with the strange fire.
Leviticus 10:1-2
10:1 Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane firebefore the LORD, which He had not commanded them.
10:2 So fire went out from the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

1 John 2:15-17
2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
2:16 For all that is in the world--
the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world.
2:17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

The strange fire refers to the fire of the world as follows:

  1. The lust of the eyes or ambition.
  2. The lust of the flesh or emotion.
  3. The pride of life or arrogance.

Ambition and emotion have their activities which are controlled by the darkness, so one willingly sacrifice others and God through disobeying His will or the true teaching Word for reaching his own purpose.

[Leviticus 10:1] Nadab and Abihu burnt the incense. It refers to the worship as the peak of service and ministry to God. If it is done without the fire of God's love or anointing of Holy Spirit, the ordination is not true and one will receive the scorching fire of judgment until perish forever for sure.

Therefore, the priests or servants of God must always do the introspection in their life for knowing the fire with which they serve and minister to God so that there is no fire of judgment.

With the strange fire, namely the fire of the world in the ambition, emotion, and arrogance, he must be disobedient to the will of God.
With the fire of God's love, he must be obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.

Amos 3:7-8
3:7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
3:8 A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken! Who can but prophesy?

All things which God has spoken through the revelation of the Word or the prophecy have not happened yet, but will happen for sure.

Genesis 18:10-12,15
18:10 And He said, "I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son." (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.)
18:11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.
18:12 Therefore
Sarah laughed within herself, saying, "After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?"
18:15 But Sarah denied it, saying, "I did not laugh," for she was afraid. And He said, "No, but you did laugh!"

For example, God spoke to Abraham about the birth of Isaac. Sarah laughed within herself in doubt and unbelief. Nevertheless, Abraham truly believed the revelation of the Word, so he could strengthen Sarah and Isaac could be born.

Genesis 19:12-14
19:12 Then the men said to Lot, "Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city -- take them out of this place!
19:13 "For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it."
19:14 So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, "Get up, get out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city!" But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.

The sons-in-law of Lot mocked the true teaching Word. They could not be made believe, so they were destroyed by the scorching fire together with Sodom and Gomorrah.

God preached the Word for being obeyed. The attitude towards the Word determines our future life.

Nadab and Abihu served to God with the strange fire and transgressed the true ordination or service and ministry to God.

Leviticus 10:3-6
10:3 And Moses said to Aaron, "This is what the LORD spoke, saying:'By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.'" So Aaron held his peace.
10:4 And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said to them, "Come near,
carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp."
10:5 So they went near and carried them by their tunics out of the camp, as Moses had said.
10:6 And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his sons, "Do not uncover your heads nor tear your clothes, lest you die, and wrath come upon all the people. But let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD has kindled.

Consequently, they were carried out of the temple or Christ's body in their spiritual death to enter the judgment of the scorching fire. Although they still wore the clothes of priests (serving and ministering to God still), they died spiritually.

Now, God comes in the midst of us with the fire of His love not for punishing or scorching, but sanctifying our life, ordination or service and ministry to Him, and marriage to be well pleasing to Him and we can come to Him.

Matthew 11:28-30
11:28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am
gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
11:30 "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Therefore, we must be sanctified before committing the service and ministry to God, so we can come to Jesus and learn about the humbleness and meekness of heart.

The humbleness refers to the ability to confess sins to God and others. Being forgiven, we must not repeat the sin. It also refers to the ability to admit the goodness of others and receive the facts.

The meekness refers to the ability to receive the teaching Word, no matter how hard and long it is, seriously. We can also forgive and forget the sins of others.

It is the same as the heart which is full of Holy Spirit and God's love. As a result, God will give the ability for bearing the yoke or burden which He entrusts to us like what Jesus had born and given us example on the cross as well as taught to us.

1 Peter 2:23
2:23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;

All things become easy and light. We will never leave the marriage and the service and ministry to God until the end line or forever.

Ministering to God with the strange fire or emotion and ambition, one will be arrogant in the success, but he will be disappointed and hopeless until leaving God in the failure. It means being in the darkness that will aim at the fire of judgment.
Ministering to God in the fire of His love, all things will be easy and light regardless of anything that happens.

John 16:7
16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

Therefore, Jesus must die, rise, and ascend to heaven for pouring the fire of Holy Spirit to all of us (Pentecost Day). Thus, through the Holy Communion, we can get the pouring of Holy Spirit.

We commemorate Pentecost Day so that we can get the pouring of Holy Spirit on our life through the anointing and fullness of Holy Spirit until we overflow in Him and we are set free from the fire of judgment.

The functions of the fire of Holy Spirit are as follows:

  1. Holy Spirit is able to renew or change us from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus is.
    Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewingof the Holy Spirit,

It begins from honesty. We say the righteous words without any lie. We are also honest in confessing sins.
    Ephesians 4:24-25
4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
4:25 Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.

We become the house of prayer. There is nothing impossible.

  2. Holy Spirit pours the love of God, so we can be strong and of good courage.
    Romans 5:5
5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

We are not disappointed or hopeless and we do not leave God regardless of anything we must face, but we keep faithful and fervent in spirit in the service and ministry to Him. We keep worshiping Him.

    Romans 8:26-28
8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
8:28 And we know that all things work together for
goodto those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Holy Spirit makes all things good, successful, and beautiful in our life.

  3. Holy Spirit is able to make great mountains become a plain.
    Zechariah 4:6-9
4:6 So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts.
    4:7 'Who are you, O
great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"'"
4:8 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying:
4:9 "The hands of Zerubbabel Have laid the foundation of this temple; His hands shall also finish it. Then you will know That the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you.

The mountains refer to the increasing sins. Holy Spirit is able to set us free from sins, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.

The mountains also refer to the increasing problems. Holy Spirit is able to solve all impossible problems.

Holy Spirit uses us in the revival of the edification of the perfect body of Christ that begins from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the perfect body of Christ.

Holy Spirit is able to change us until being perfect for welcoming Jesus' second coming.

God blesses you.
