2:26 "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations--
2:27 ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels' -- as I also have received from My Father;
2:28 "and I will give him the morning star.
2:29 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."‘
There are two promises that God gives for the church in Thyatira who overcomes as follows:
The starin special meaning is the shepherd; in general meaning is the servant of God who glorifies Him.
Who can be a star?
There are three kinds of quality of descendants of Abraham, as follows:
We must be watchful; there is the star that falls from heaven because of the thing as follows:
In order to prevent us from being the falling star, our heart must be in peace, we live in righteousness, humble ourselves, and obey the Word until the flesh does not sound anymore.
The results are as follows:
God blesses us.

- The physical descendants of Abraham or the Israelites, the chosen people.
Genesis 15:5
15:5 Then He brought him outside and said, "Look now toward heaven, and count the starsif you are able to number them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be." - The spiritual descendants of Abraham or the Gentiles who live in faith and righteousness.
Galatians 3:7
3:7 Therefore know that only those who are of faithare sons of Abraham.
There are three kinds of quality of descendants of Abraham, as follows:
- It is like the dust of the earth.
Genesis 13:16
13:16 "And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered.
It means the servants of God who serve and ministry to look for the physical things.
Genesis 3:14
3:14 So the LORD God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life.
The dust of the earth only becomes the food of serpent (Satan) and perishes forever. - It is like the sand.
Genesis 22:17
22:17 "blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.
It is not dust or star. It refers to the servant of God who is lukewarm. It means one is not faithful and fervent in ministry like the servant who is wicked and lazy, unprofitable servant.
Matthew 25:26, 30
25:26 "But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
25:30 ‘And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
The result is his life is in darkness; his future is dark, until being cast into the outer darkness. - It is like the star.
It is the servant of God who glorifies His name.
We must be watchful; there is the star that falls from heaven because of the thing as follows:
- Keeping the bitterness of heart.
Revelation 8:10-11
8:10 Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
8:11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.
In order to prevent us from being the falling star, we must reconcile, confess and forgive the sin each other. The sin is finished by the blood of Jesus so our heart is peaceful. - Being dragged by the tail of dragon.
Revelation 12:4
12:4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
Isaiah 9:15
9:15 The elder and honorable, he is the head; The prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail.
The tail of dragon refers to the false teaching, lie, gossip, et cetera.
The tail of dragon also refers the uncleanness sin which is the sin of eating-drinking, marrying and being given in marriage. - Arrogance and disobedience.
Isaiah 14:12-15
14:12 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!
14:13 For you have said in your heart: ‘I willascend into heaven, I willexalt my throne above the stars of God; I willalso sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;
14:14 I willascend above the heights of the clouds, I willbe like the Most High.'
14:15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.
Lucifer said "I will" five times means the peak of arrogance. It is against the five wounds of Jesus so Satan falls into the lowest depths of the pit.
Philippians 2:8-9
2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
Jesus humbles Himself until He dies on the cross with five wounds. It is the peak of humble heart so Jesus is exalted to the throne of heaven and becomes the bright and morning star.
Revelation 22:16
22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."
In order to prevent us from being the falling star, our heart must be in peace, we live in righteousness, humble ourselves, and obey the Word until the flesh does not sound anymore.
The results are as follows:
- Experiencing the spiritual miracle.
John 21:6, 11
21:6 And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
21:11 Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty–three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken.
It means experiencing the life renewal from carnal man to spiritual one.
Peter catches 153 fish. Number 3 refers to body, soul, and spirit that are purified and renewed until become honest, there is no lie.
Ephesians 4:22-25
4:22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
4:23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
4:25 Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
Number 5 refers to the ministry.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
If we are purified and renewed already, we will be trusted in ministry and the gift of Holy Spirit so we can be employed in the building of Body of Christ.
Number 1 refers to the unity of the perfect body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:13-14
4:13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
4:14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, - Being numbered by God.
We are cared by God even though we are like a hair that is powerless and worthless.
Matthew 10:30
10:30 "But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Acts 27:34
27:34 "Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you."
God blesses us.
