Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 15 in arrangement of Tabernacle refers to the Ark of Covenant.
The ark of the Covenant was made of acacia wood that was overlaid by the gold inside and outside, so the wood could not be seen anymore.
It refers to the sinful fleshly man who has been born and changed by the word, Holy Spirit, and the love of God. Thus, he becomes as perfect as Jesus is and he is ready to greet the second coming of Jesus and enter the New Jerusalem.

John 14: 5, 8, 22
14:5  Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?"
14:8
Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us."
14:22
Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?"

In the arrangement of Tabernacle, John 14 refers to the Ark of Covenant.

There are three disciples that represent the church of God with three conditions of the fleshly man that must be overlaid by the gold (the word, Holy Spirit, and the love of God), so the church will become as perfect as Jesus is as follows:

  1. Philip (It is explained in Bible Study Service and Holy Communion in Malang, February 01, 2022).
  2. Thomas.
  3. Judas.

We learn the second point, namely Thomas
.

John 14: 4-6
14:4  "And where I go you know, and the way you know."
14:5  Thomas said to Him, "
Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?"
14:6  Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

The life journey of Thomas was of the flesh seeing the earthly things that are pleasant for flesh, so he never knew the way to heaven.
It means being deceived easily.

The life journey of Thomas had to be overlaid with the word, Holy Spirit, and the love of God, so it would become like Jesus', namely the life journey of faith.

2 Corinthians 5: 7

5:7  For we walk by faith, not by sight.

The journey of faith refers to the life by faith or trust.

John 14: 6
14:6  Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Jesus appeared as "I am the way, the truth, and the life". This is the journey of faith from Jesus or the spiritual journey to the kingdom of heaven.
We must follow it.

There are three meanings of the journey of faith like Jesus as follows:

  1. 'I am the way' refers to the journey of cross or being overlaid by the love of God.
Thus, we must stay in the journey of cross, so we can be overlaid and led by the love of God.

    1 Peter 2: 21-25
2:21  For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
    2:22  "Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth";
    2:23  who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
2:24  who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we,
having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed.
2:25  For you were like sheep going astray, but have now
returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

The facts found in the journey of cross are as follows:

    1. Verse 21-24 = The flesh suffering to die from sin, repent, and live in righteousness.
It means stopping sinning and lying as well as repaying the evil with kindness (verse 22-23).

As a result, we experience the power of Jesus' stripes to heal our physical and spiritual life. We stop sinning and have more bitter heart, but we always experience the peace.

The marriage life will be healthy up to becoming one and joyful.

    2. Verse 25 = Being shepherded well and correctly.
      John 10: 9-10
10:9  "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
10:10  "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

We must go through the narrow door to enter the sheepfold. It refers to crucifying the flesh and its will. The results are as follows:

      1. Being saved. We will not fall in sin and we cannot be deceived by the false teaching. We stand firmly in salvation.
      2. "I shall not want" refers to the abundant caring, so we always give thanks to God and we become blessing for others until we reach the perfection.

  2. 'I am the truth' refers to the word of God that sanctifies us. It is the true teaching word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.
    John 17: 17
17:17  "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

Thus, our life journey must be overlaid and led by the true teaching word.
It means that we must listen and obey the word in every step of our life.

    1 Peter 1: 22
1:22  Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

    The results are as follows:

    1. We live in holiness.
    2. We can love each other sincerely.

This is the life of priest and king that is equipped with the ministry from God, so we can be employed in the building of the perfect body of Christ.

    Ephesians 4: 11-12
4:11  And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
    4:12  for
the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

  3. 'I am the life' refers to the Holy Spirit that gives the eternal life for us.
    John 6: 63
6:63  "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Thus, our life journey must be overlaid and led by the Holy Spirit.

The functions of Holy Spirit are as follows:

    1. Holy Spirit puts to death the deeds of the body and the sins up to the peak, so we can live in holiness, righteousness, and perfection.
      Romans 8: 13
8:13  For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

      Romans 8: 11
8:11  But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Holy Spirit gives the physical life for us even though we are rod that is powerless and worthless. Holy Spirit will work for us.

      Isaiah 11: 1-2

11:1  There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2  The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

When the Antichrist reigns on the earth, we are still cared as long as we have the Holy Spirit.
Our life becomes beautiful and successful.

    2. Holy Spirit is able to make us faithful, kind, responsible, and fervent, so we experience the joy of heaven in the midst of sorrows of the world.
      Romans 12: 11
      12:11  not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

    3. Holy Spirit is able to renew the fleshly man to become the spiritual one like Jesus.
      Titus 3: 5
3:5  not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

The renewal starts from being strong and of good courage. We trust and hope in God whatever the condition may come.
Then, the physical miracle happens. The impossible things become possible.
When Jesus comes a second time, we will be changed to become as perfect as He is. We are worthy to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb, the One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace (the upcoming Paradise), and the Kingdom of Heaven forever.

God blesses us.
