Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 22:5

22:5  There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

The night = the stumbling-block.
The night = the darkness.

If we want to enter the New Jerusalem, we cannot live in the darkness.

Exodus 10:22
10:22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days.

The darkness happened in the past in Egypt when the Israel went out from Egypt.

At the last days, the darkness will happen again when the church of God is going out from the world to meet Jesus in the glorious clouds to enter the New Jerusalem.

The facts found within it are as follows:

  1. 'They did not see one another...'= the selfishness.
    Exodus 10:23
10:23 They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

One is willing to sacrifice others up to God.

    Philippians 2:19-21
2:19  But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I know your state.
2:20  For I have no one like-minded, who will sincerely care for your state.
2:21  For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus.

For living in the light, we must be willing to sacrifice our will and care for Christ and others.

    2 Timothy 3:1-5
3:1  But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
    3:2  For men will be lovers of themselves(1), lovers of money(2), boasters(3), proud(4), blasphemers(5), disobedient to parents(6), unthankful(7), unholy(8),
    3:3  unloving(9), unforgiving(10), slanderers(11), without self-control(12), brutal(13), despisers of good(14),
    3:4  traitors
(15), headstrong(16), haughty(17), lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God(18),
3:5  having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

The self interest means that fleshly man is never changed in his life even tough he serves God because he keeps the 18 characters of flesh. He will be sealed with 666 by the Antichrist and destroyed forever. Why does it happen? Because the ministry is only for physical things.

For that reason, we must minister to God for the true teaching word, so we are sanctified and changed to become perfect.

  2. '... nor did anyone rise from his place for three days.'
    Exodus 10:23
10:23 They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

It means that one does not experience the spiritual revival.

    • Falling and rising in sins, enjoying in sins up to the peak until perdition.
For that reason, we must experience the spiritual revival in the system of shepherding.

      Acts 20:28, 31-33, 35
20:28 "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
20:31  "Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.
20:32  "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
20:33  "I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.
20:35  "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

We must be shepherded well and correctly. The attitude in shepherding is as follows:

      • The pastor must cry out a lot to receive the revealing of the secret Word as the food for sheep.

      • The sheep must cry out a lot to be able to eat the Word.

The Word is able to sanctify the heart from the will of evil, uncleanness, and bitterness. The results are as follows:

      • It is more blessed to give than to receive. We can return the tithe and special offering that belong to God and give to the work of God and others who are in need.

      • Ministering God in faithfulness and righteousness.
      • Giving whole life to God until we become perfect to be the Bride of Heaven.

    • The spiritual paralysis.
      Acts 9:32-33
9:32  Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda.
9:33  There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed.

Aeneas means honorable = the priest or servant of God, man who was successful in his life.

Being paralyzed means that something is not right as follows:

      • The bedridden = the marriage and the child are not right.
      • The heart is not right, having no peace, something is hidden.
        1 John 3:19-22
3:19  And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.
3:20  For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
3:21  Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.
3:22  And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

      • The net is not right = the work, school, finance, or the ministry is not right.
        Matthew 4:21
4:21  Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them,

It makes the life bitter. It is like drinking the sour wine mingled with gall.

      John 19:28-30
19:28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!"
19:29  Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.
19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Jesus has struggled on the cross and drunk the sour wine mingled with gall = carrying the sins and its curse, fixing the things that are not right.

We must confess all the things that are not right sincerely = giving the sour wine mingled with the gall to Jesus on the cross. We experience the forgiveness of sin and finishing of problems until our heart feels peace. It is the strong foundation to receive the power of God or Holy Spirit.

The functions of Holy Spirit are as follows:

      • Holy Spirit is able to give the satisfaction of heaven.
        John 7:37-38
7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
7:38  "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

We can give thanks and testify for what God has done in our life.

      • Holy Spirit helps us to live in holiness or light.
        Romans 8:13
8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

We are lifted up to become the priest and king, employed in the building of the body of Christ.

      • Holy Spirit renews our life and fixes the things that are not right.
        Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

        It continues to perfect us.

God blesses us.
