Ascension Service in Malang, May 30, 2019 (Thursday Morning)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 9:13-21 tells us about the sixth judgment of the Son of God.

Revelation 9:13-15
9:13 Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
9:14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates."
9:15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.

In verse 13, the four gold horns refer to the Golden Altar of Incense. Now, it means the worship prayer.

There are two possibilities about the worship prayer as follows.
  1. Ones who do not want to worship God or experience the crucifixion to the flesh, but only fulfill the fleshly desires will face the four angels of war and become the part of a third of mankind who die in the war.

  2. Ones who seriously worship God or experience the full crucifixion of the flesh will get the love of God to love Him and other people and face His angel.
There are two angels of God we know as follows.
  1. Gabriel or the messenger who brings the Word.
    Luke 1:8-11,18-19
1:8So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division,
1:9 according to the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.
1:10 And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense.
1:11 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
1:18 And Zacharias said to the angel, "How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years."
1:19 And the angel answered and said to him, "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings.

If we worship God, we will receive the revelation of the Word through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible.

  2. Michael or the spiritual angel of war.
    Revelation 12:7-8
12:7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
12:8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.

If we worship God, we will get the anointing of Holy Spirit.
Thus, if we worship God, we will face the two angels of God and get the work of the Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit to sanctify our whole life, body, soul, and spirit, so we can live in the holiness like an angel.

Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ,

If we live in holiness, we will be equipped with the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit or the beautiful tunic. We will be used in the ministry for edifying the perfect body of Christ, the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain, or the revival of the white horse.

Revelation 19:11
19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

The revival of the white horse refers to the one of the spiritual war.

Matthew 8:20
8:20 And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."

Entering the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the revival of the white horse, we are preparing a place for Jesus to lay His head.

John 14:1-2
14:1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
14:2 "In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Jesus ascends to heaven to prepare a place for us.
Our duty in the world is preparing room for Him, namely the perfect body of Christ.
When Jesus comes a second time, we will be brought to the place where Jesus is, to be with Him. It is in the New Jerusalem. We are not separated from Him anymore forever. The Head cannot be separated from the body anymore. The bridegroom cannot be separated from the bride anymore.

Therefore, we must be active in the revival for edifying the body of Christ. The requirements are as follows.
  1. We must be the priests and kings or the living stone.
    1 Peter 2:5
2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

    A priest means as follows.

    • One who is holy.
    • One who bears the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit.
    • One who serves and ministers to God according to the ministry which He has entrusted in faithfulness and righteousness.

The priest refers to the living, beautiful, precious stone.
It means that we only live by the grace and mercy of God. We can live anywhere, anytime, and in any circumstances until our life becomes beautiful and we reach the eternal life in the New Jerusalem.

  2. We must endure.
    1 Corinthians 3:11-15
3:11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
3:12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with
gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
3:13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.
3:14 If anyone's work which he has built on it
endures, he will receive a reward.
3:15 If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Be careful! There are two kind of edification as follows.

    • The foundation is wood, hay, and straw. It refers to the service and ministry that only prioritize the physical things, but without the sanctification, faithfulness, and the ministry from God. Consequently, one cannot endure, so he commits sins up to the peak, gets disappointed and hopeless, and leaves God. He still gives the chance in the days when the Antichrist reigns over the world, but only few people can endure.

    • The foundation is gold, silver, and precious stones.
The silverrefers to the redemption by the blood of Jesus up to the righteous tongue.
      Proverbs 10:20
10:20 The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little.

The goldrefers to the tested faith. One does to get disappointed or hopeless, but keeps on believing and hoping God.
The precious stonesrefer to honesty and believing in God as well as faithfulness and fervency in spirit.

As a result, we can endure. We can serve and minister to God until the end line and we receive the wage of eternal life.

  3. We must be shepherded well and correctly like a branch that dwells in the True Vine.
    Acts 20:28,32-33
20:28 "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
20:32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
20:33 "I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.

In the Tabernacle, it refers to the Holy Place in which there are three instruments that refer to the perseverance in doing the three main services to God as follows.

    • The Golden Candlestick or the perseverance in doing the General Service to get the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the anointing and gifts.
    • The Table of Showbread or the perseverance in doing the Bible Study Service with the Holy Communion to get the fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ.

    • The Golden Altar of Incense or the perseverance in doing the Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in His love.

In the shepherding pen, we must obey the voice of the Shepherd or the shepherding Word. It refers to the true teaching Word which is entrusted by God to a pastor that he may preach it to the congregation faithfully and continually to be their food.

In the shepherding pen, our body, soul, and spirit attach to the Trinity of God, so the trinity of Satan cannot touch us. We get the continuous sanctification until our heart and mind are sanctified from the evil and unclean desires as well as the bitterness of heart.

    Acts 20:35
20:35 "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

    Psalm 84:11
84:11 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

    1 Peter 3:17
3:17 For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

The functions of Holy Spirit are as follows.

    • The Gentiles are only like the dog and swine, but Holy Spirit is able to burn the sins.
      Romans 8:13
8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

As a result, we can spread the fragrance of Christ through the Good News and Bride Tidings.

    • The Gentiles are only like the weak willows which are dragged by Babylon, but Holy Spirit helps us, so we can be faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God.
      Psalm 137:1-3
137:1 By the rivers of Babylon, There we sat down, yea, we wept When we remembered Zion.
137:2 We hung our harps Upon the willows in the midst of it.
137:3 For there those who carried us away captive asked of us a song, And those who plundered us requested mirth, Saying, "Sing us one of the songs of Zion!"

      Isaiah 44:3-4
      44:3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring;
44:4 They will spring up among the grass Like willows by the watercourses.'

    • The Gentiles are only like the orphans who have neither genealogy nor one to lean on.
      John 14:16-18
14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--
14:17 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
      14:18 "
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

Holy Spirit is able to help us, so we can be honest and obedient.
When Jesus comes a second time, we will be changed to be as glorious as He is and lifted up to heaven.
God blesses you.
