Bible Study Service in Malang, December 22, 2016 (Thursday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 4:8-11 is about the activities on the throne of the heavenly kingdom as follows.
  1. The activity of holiness.
    Revelation 4:8
4:8 The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"

  2. The activity of worship.
    Revelation 4:10
4:10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
The two activities cannot be separated from each other. We still learn the activity of holiness.
By what can we be sanctified?
Hebrews 4:12-13
4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

We are sanctified by the Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword.

What must be sanctified?
  1. Heart and mindwhich contain the twelve evil and unclean desires.
    Mark 7:21-23
7:21 "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
7:22 "thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.
7:23 "All these evil things come from within and defile a man."

Blaspheming means that one blames the true teaching Word and justifies the false teachings. It is the same as the arrogance like the antichrist. The foolishness means that one cannot be rebuked and advised, neither by the preaching of the Word nor by the private advice.

The heart which is sanctified from the twelve evil and unclean wills will be filled with the twelve loaves of bread, namely the Word. We can delight in the Word.

  2. Joints, namely the connection of two bones. It means as follows.

    1. The relationship with others, starting from the closest one, namely in the marriage.
    2. The relationship with God.

    2 Corinthians 12:20
    12:20 For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and that I shall be found by you such as you do not wish; lest there be contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults;

The strife first must be sanctified. We must confess and forgive one another when there is strife because of sin. If our relationship with other people is good, we will have a good relationship with God for sure. We must also be sanctified from jealousies, wrath, selfish ambitions or egoism, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, and tumults.

If the joints are sanctified or the relationship with other people is good, we will have a good relationship with God, namely we can worship Him.

  3. Marrow.
    Proverbs 17:22
17:22 A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.

It is inside the bone. If the marrow is dry, namely there is a broken spirit, disappointment, or hopelessness. It also refers to a pride. If we are sanctified from disappointment and pride, we will be able to give thanks always to God.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12
for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

After we are sanctified by the sword of God's Word, we will be equipped with the ministry and the anointing of Holy Spirit. We are appointed as priests and kings forever to be used in the ministry for the edifying of the perfect body of Christ until we become the heavenly bride who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds and we sit with Him on the throne of the heavenly kingdom forever.

Matthew 21:18-19
21:18 Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry.
21:19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, "Let no fruit grow on you ever again." Immediately the fig tree withered away.

Not being used by God, one will be used in the building of Babylon, namely the perfection in evil and uncleanness.

Be careful because there was a leafy fig tree which did not bear any fruitin the last journey of Jesus to Jerusalem!
The many leaves mean that the priests actively minister in the edifying of the body of Christ, but do not bear any fruit. Not bearing any fruit means that they cannot satisfy God's heart or please Him. Consequently, one becomes dry spiritually and starts murmuring and disputing. Moreover, he looks for the satisfaction in the world until he falls in the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. Finally, he lives in the atmosphere of curses, weariness, heavy burdens, and perdition forever.

Why do the service and ministry not satisfy God?
  1. Because there is no faith.
    Malachi 3:8-9
3:8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, 'In what way have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings.
3:9 You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation.

One serves and ministers to God, but steals His possession, namely the tithes and offerings, like what Judas Iscariot did. It happened because he felt that he lived by money, not by the Word. There is no Table of Showbread anymore because it is replaced by the table of moneychanger.

  2. Because there is no hope.
    Jeremiah 48:10
48:10 Cursed is he who does the work of the LORD deceitfully, And cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood.

It means negligence, unfaithfulness, laziness, and wickednessin the service to God. Finally, one becomes unprofitable.

    Matthew 25:26,30
25:26 "But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
25:30 'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

Laziness and wickedness cause one to be a traitor or destroyer. He also divides the body of Christ. There is no hope in him and he cannot be hoped. There is no Golden Candlestick. It means that there is no light at all.

  3. Because there is no love.
    John 14:15
14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.

It means disobedienceto God or the true teaching Word.

    Matthew 25:41-43
25:41 "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
    25:42 'for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
25:43 'I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.'

Ministering to God without love also means that one does not want to give to or visit others who are in need. There is no Golden Altar of Incense.

Thus, the service and ministry that cannot satisfy God are as follows
.
  1. Without faith --> without Table of Showbread.
  2. Without hope --> without Golden Candlestick.
  3. Without love --> without Golden Altar of Incense.
They refer to the service and ministry without the system of shepherding.

We are in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain now, so our service and ministry must be in the system of shepherding. The sign is faith, hope, and love. We are shepherded well and correctly. The fact found in it is dwelling in the sheepfold or persevering in doing the three main services to God as follows.
  1. Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communionto get the fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ. It will give us the strong faith or the Word which is ingrained in our life as the experience of our life. The proof is we can return the possession of God, namely the tithes and offerings. We live by faith.

    Malachi 3:10-12
3:10 Bring all the tithesinto the storehouse, That there may be foodin My house, And try Me now in this," Says the LORD of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.
    3:11 "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field," Says the LORD of hosts;
3:12 "And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land," Says the LORD of hosts.

The cycle of the tithesis as follows. The tithes provides the food, namely the true teaching Word we can eat by hearing, understanding, believing, and obeying it regardless of any risk we may take. Then, God opens the windows of heaven to pour out blessings, protection, and joy for us and then we give the tithes again.
This is a cycle from heaven that cannot be cut by any crisis in the world.

The tithes refer to the confession that we have been blessed and preserved by God. It is also a confession that we live by God as well as our life and all we have are God's.

  2. Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Serviceto have the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts. Holy Spirit gives us light or hope. The proof is we can serve and minister to God in faithfulness and fervency in spirit; faithfulness and goodness; faithfulness and righteousness.

    Matthew 25:21
25:21 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

As a result, we get the hope to be trusted by God in two things as follows.

    • In the ministry for the edifying of the perfect body of Christ which is getting great.
    • We experience the increasing joy up to the top, namely we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb when Jesus comes a second time.

  3. Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Worship Prayer Serviceto get the fellowship with Father God in the love, so we get the love of God.
The proof is we serve and minister to God in obedience and willingness to sacrifice, namely giving to and visiting others who are in need. As a result, the door of the heavenly kingdom is opened for us.
Matthew 17:1
17:1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;

If our service and ministry to God are signified with faith, hope, and love, they will peak on the house of prayer like Jesus who took Peter (hope), James (faith), and John (love) to go up to a high mountain.

Worship prayer is a process to tear the flesh with all of its wills, lusts, intelligence, power, egoism, and worry, so we can fully surrender to God. We only look at, cry out and surrender to God.

1 Kings 9:1,3
9:1 And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished building the house of the LORD and the king's house, and all Solomon's desire which he wanted to do,
9:3 And the LORD said to him: "I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me; I have consecrated this house which you have built to put
My namethere forever, and My eyesand My heartwill be there perpetually.

If we become the house of prayer, the name, eyes, and heart of God will be in our life forever.
  1. The name of God.
We get the power of victory over the trinity of Satan, so we can live in righteousness and holiness. We live in peace and all things become easy and light. We become the possession of God that cannot be charged against by anyone.

  2. The eyes of God.
We are protected and preserved by God miraculously in the midst of difficulties and destructions in the world up to the time when the antichrist reigns over the world and until we get the eternal life.
The eyes of God also refer to His pleading, so we cannot be charged against by anyone.

  3. The heart or love of God.
    Zephaniah 3:16-18
3:16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.
3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
3:18 "I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly, Who are among you, To whom its reproach is a burden.

The love of God renews our life from fleshly men to spiritual ones like Jesus. The fleshly fear is changed into the one of the Lord.
The renewal of life also refers to the cheerful face, namely being strong and of good courage. We hold fast to and obey the true teaching Word. We are faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God. We only believe and entrust our life to God. We always worship Him. One will have a sad face when he forgets God.

    Proverbs 16:32
16:32 He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.

We are patient in the suffering. We are not disappointed, hopeless, or angry, but give thanks to God. We are also patient in waiting for the time of God. When God has not helped us yet, He is still busy to correct our life.

    1 Chronicles 28:20
28:20 And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God--my God--will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finishedall the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

After we are strong and of good courage, God will stretch out His merciful hands to help us in His time. The guarantee is the words of Jesus on the cross, namely "It is finished." All problems are solved until we are changed to be as perfect as He is when He comes a second time. We enter the throne of the New Jerusalem.

    Revelation 22:3-4
22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

The name of God is written on our forehead and we become His possession forever.
God blesses you.
