Bible Study Service in Surabaya, April 07, 2014 (Monday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Good evening, let us hear the Word of God. Let the peace, grace, and joy of God be in the midst of us abundantly.

Revelation 1: 13-16 = the appearance of Jesus Himself in four real manifestations(It has been explained since Bible Study Service in Surabaya, February 3, 2014):
  1. Revelation 1: 13= Jesus appears in His glory as The High Priest, being clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band (It has been explained since Bible Study Service in Surabaya, February 3, 2014).

  2. Revelation 1: 14= Jesus appears in His glory as The King of all kings, whose head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a fame of fire (It has been explained since Bible Study Service in Surabaya, February 23, 2014).

  3. Revelation 1: 15= Jesus appears in His glory as TheJust Judge, whose feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters (It has been explained since Bible Study Service in Surabaya, March 17, 2014).

  4. Revelation 1: 16= Jesus appears in His glory as TheHeavenly Bridegroom, the peak. We will never be separated from Him, but we are with Him forever. (It has been explained since Bible Study Service in Surabaya, March 30, 2014).
Tonight, we still discuss the forth part, namely JESUS APPEARS IN HIS GLORY AS THE HEAVENLY BRIDEGROOM
Revelation 1: 16
1: 16. He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two–edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.

The signs are as follows
.
  1. He had in His right hand seven stars (It has been explained since Bible Study Service in Surabaya, March 30, 2014),
  2. Out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword (It has been explained since Bible Study Service in Surabaya, April 6, 2014),
  3. His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
We still learn the second part, namely
Ad 2.Out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword
Hebrews 4 : 12
4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two–edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

A two-edged sword coming out of Jesus’ mouth is the Teaching Word or Bride Tidingsthat prepares us to become the Bride of God.

Exodus 32: 27-28
32:27 And he said to them, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Let every man put his sword on his side, and go in and out from entrance to entrance throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.' "
32:28 So the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And about
three thousand menof the people fell that day.

= the work of the sword we need.
It kills three thousand people.
The house of Israel worshiped an idol while Moses was on the mountain to receive the two tablets of stone and Tabernacle. Consequently, God commanded every man to put the sword on his side and there were three thousand people who died.
The spiritual meaningis the Word sharper than any two-edged sword sanctifiesthe congregation in order to get the spiritual figure of three thousandas follows.
2000 + 1000= The Holy Place+ The Most Holy Place:
Thus, the Teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword sanctifies the congregation to get the spiritual meaning of the figures as follows.

  1. The figure 2000 (the Holy Place) = holy lifedan perseverance in sheepfold= perseverance in doing the three main services to God that refer to the three kinds of equipment inside the Holy Place as follows.

    • Golden Canclestick: perseverance in doing General Service or fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His gifts.
    • Table of Showbread: perseverance in doing Bible Study Service or fellowship with the Son of God in the true Teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ.

    • Golden Altar of Incense: perseverance in doing Prayer Service or fellowship with Father God in his love.

If we can live in holiness, we will be able to persevere in the shepherding.

If we can persevere in the shepherding pen, our body, soul, and spirit attach to or have fellowship with the trinity of God, so that Satan cannot touch us. The proofis the quietness in our life. If we can be quiet, soon or later we will produce sweet fruits.

  2. The figure 1000 (the Most Holy Place) = we are perfector without any blemish as Jesus is = we become the bride of heaven that is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming on glorious clouds.

Now, the figure 2000 has been real in our life. We only need to wait for the time when we are perfect.
Therefore, we need the sword!

Acts 2: 41-42
2:41 Then those who gladly received his wordwere baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

[verse 41] The sword of the Word or sanctification sword works to sanctify THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL(the Early Rain Church).

How about us, the Gentiles?
The Gentiles should not have received anything. Nevertheless, there is an opened door for them in the Acts 10.
Acts 10: 11-15
10:11 and saw heaven openedand an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth.
10:12 In it were all kinds of
four–footed animalsof the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air.
10:13 And a voice came to him, "Rise, Peter; kill and eat."
10:14 But Peter said, "Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything
common or unclean."
10:15 And a voice spoke to him again the second time, "
What God has cleansed you must not call common."

'Unclean animal' = the Gentiles.
Thus, the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword works to sanctify the unclean animal, THE GENTILES, or the Latter Rain Church.
The Gentiles are the four-footed unclean animals, namely dog and swine.
'Dog' = (licking vomit) = tongue/sayingthat is evil and unclean, namely lie, corrupt words, slander, gossips, and so on.
'Swine' = (being cleansed, but returning to the wallowing in the mire) = evil and unclean deeds, up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
The sins concerning eating-drinking happens in the form of smoking, getting drunk, drugs abuse, and so on.
The sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage happens in the form of sexuality sin with all its kinds up to the false marriage.
In the Acts 10, the unclean animals or the Gentiles are made cleanby God through the work of sanctification done by Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword ("What God has cleansed you must not call common."), so that the heaven is opened for the Gentilesby His mercy.

The process of sanctifying and perfecting the Gentiles to change from the unclean animals to the clean ones is as follows.
  1. Acts 10: 11-12
10:11 and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth.
    10:12
In itwere all kinds of four–footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air.

First, the Gentiles must be inside a great sheet bound at the four corners. It means the redemption.
The great sheet bound at the four corners means the four gospels for the four corners of the earth or all over the world.

    Ephesians 1: 13
1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

The Gentiles must receive the gospel of salvation, so that the heaven will be opened for them. It means there is an opened opportunity for the Gentiles to get the redemptiondone by the sacrifice of Christ and be saved.

The gospel of salvation is the gospel that preaches about the first coming of Jesus to the world to die on the cross for saving the sinners. It is called Good News.

The signs of the Gentiles’ receiving the gospel of salvation or the redemption and salvation from the sacrifice of Christ are as follows.

    • Faith or believingin Jesus as the Only Saviour. It means that we pass through the Gate of Tabernacle.
    • Repentance= stopping sinning or being dead to sin and returning to the Lord. It refers to the Altar of Burnt Offering.
    • Water Baptism= the Brazen Laver.
      Romans 6 : 4
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptisminto death, that just as Christ was raisedfrom the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

The right water baptismis when a person who has repented or died to sin is buried in water together with Jesus to raise together with him in order to get a new life, namely deliverance from sin.
It meanswe do not sinalthough there is opportunity, advantage, force, and threat, so that we can live righteousness.

    • Holy Spirit Baptism= entering the Door of Tabernacle.
      Romans 8: 15
8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

It meansthe infilling of Holy Spirit that makes us obedient.

If we are saved, namely we believe or have faith up to obedience, we will get these results.

    • We can endure all things= we are not disappointed or hopeless and do not leave God when we are facing anything, but keep on believing and hoping in God. We also keep faithful and fervent in spirit doing our service and ministry to God.

    • Deuteronomy 28: 1-2, 8
28:1 "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefullyall His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
28:2 "And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:
      28:8 "
The LORD will command the blessing on youin your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.

= The Lord commands the blessingsto come to us.

  2. Acts 10: 13
10:13 And a voice came to him, "Rise, Peter; killand eat."

Second, the Gentiles must be slaughteredor sanctified.

By what can the Gentiles be sanctified?:
Hebrews 4 : 12 =>by the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.
4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two–edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

    2 Corinthians 4 : 3-4
=>by the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ,
4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest
the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

The gospel of the glory of Christ is the gospel preaching about Jesus’ second coming in the glory as The King of all kings and Heavenly Bridegroom to sanctify us until we are as perfect as He is and become heavenly bride. It is called Bride Tidings.

    2 Timothy 4: 2
4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

The content of the Bride Tidingsor the Teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword is as follows.

Our attitude toward the Wordmust be not hiding sins, so that God’s help and presence, even Jesus’ second coming will not be hidden from us.
    BE SERIOUS!

    Matthew 15: 21-28
15:21 Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
15:22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David!
    My daughter is severely demon–possessed."
15:23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us."
15:24 But He answered and said, "
I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
15:25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "
    Lord, help me!"
15:26 But He answered and said, "
It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs."
    15:27 And she said, "
Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table."
15:28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And
her daughter was healedfrom that very hour.

'Tyre and Sidon'= the place of the Gentiles.
'being severely demon-possessed'= the condition of the Gentiles.
'It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dog '= The Lord says to the woman that she is a dog= the hard Word.

The conclusion isthe Teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword is the answer or solution from God to the Gentiles.

    Mark 7: 24
7:24 From there He arose and went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And He entered a house and wanted no one to know it, but He could not be hidden.

'wanted no one to know it '= being hidden for the Gentiles.
If there is the Teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword or the revelation of the Word of God, the presence of God or Jesus’ second coming will not be hidden. We can see His second coming on the glorious clouds.

Thus, THE KEY FOR THE GENTILES IS ONE TRUE TEACHING WORD.

'asharp two–edged sword' means one Teaching Word that is not mixed with other teachings. It is the key for the Gentiles in order to be lifted up by God.

The condition of the Gentiles without the Word of God sharper than any two-edged sword is as follows.

Who can help?Jesus, The Heavenly Bridegrom, with a sharp two-edged sword comes out of His mouth. It means the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword or the true Teaching Word.

Our attitudetoward the true Teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword determineswhether we can be helped or not.

    Matthew 15: 26-27
15:26 But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs."
    15:27 And she said, "
Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table."

    The right attitudesare as follows.

Thus, we must need and justifythe Teaching Word, so that we can hearthe Word seriously, understand, believe, and obey it, regardless anything that will come to our life.
When we have been obedient, we are slaughtered by the sword of the Wordas follows.

  1. Acts 10: 13
10:13 And a voice came to him, "Rise, Peter; kill and eat."

Third, “eat” that means entering a fellowship.

There are two kinds of fellowship or oneness as follows.

    • Fellowship or oneness of the perfec body of Christ(Peter, an Israel, can unite with Cornelius, a Gentile).
      Ephesians 2: 13-16
2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought nearby the blood of Christ.
2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and
has broken down the middle wall of separation,
2:15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
2:16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

Israel dan Gentiles can be one by breaking down the middle wall of separation or reconciling one anotherthrough confessing and forgiving one another by the power of Jesus’ blood or Christ’s sacrifice (the Holy Communion). The body of Christ starts from inside the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepheding, up to the one body of Israel and Gentiles.
The false must confess the sins to God and others honestly. After being forgiven, do not sin anymore!
The right must forgive and forget the sins of others.

The far, namely Israel and Gentiles, can be united. Moreover, the nearest one in the marriage must be united.

    • Fellowship between the body and the Headthat cannot be separated = our fellowship with Jesus as the Head. This fellowship also happens through the Holy Communion or reconciliation, namely confessing sins to God and not doing it anymore.

      John 6: 55-56
6:55 "For My fleshis food indeed, and My bloodis drink indeed.
6:56 "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood
abides in Me, and I in him.

When we are reconciled to God or Jesus cried on the cross "It is done!" means the Lord is struggling to finish all problems, even the impossible one. He performs the miracle for us.

    Revelation 21: 4-6
21:4 "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
21:6 And He said to me, "
It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

It is done” = "It is finished!" is cried by the Lord again in New Jerusalem.
It means that the Holy Communion or Christ’s sacrifice is able to sanctifyand changeus to be as perfectand glorious as Jesus is. We become His bride. We are lifted up together with Jesus on the glorious clouds when He comes a second time. Afterwards, we enter a thousand years kingdom of peace and New Jerusalem or eternal heavenly kingdom forever.

God blesses you.
