Bible Study Service in Surabaya, May 18, 2015 (Monday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are still discussing Revelation 3.
According to Tabernacle Teaching, Revelation 2-3 refers to the seven sprinklings of blood before the Ark of the Covenant.
It means the seven epistlesfor the seven churches of the Gentiles or the last sanctificationdone by Jesus for the seven churches of the Gentilesor the congregation in the last days to make them perfect or without blemish like Jesus. They become the perfect Bride of heaven who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds to meet Him, the Heavenly Bridegroom, forever.

There are seven churches of the Gentilesthat experience the sprinkling of blood as follows.

  5. The church in SARDIS(Revelation 3: 1-6) that experiences spiritual revival and their spirituality is strong= being watchful(it has been explained in Prayer Service in Surabaya, January 21, 2015).

  6. The church in PHILADELPHIA(Revelation 3: 7-13) (it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, March 8, 2015).

We are learning Revelation 3: 7-13or the sixth church, namely THE CHURCH IN PHILADELPHIA.
Revelation 3: 7
3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens"

There are three kinds of the Lord's appearanceto the church in Philadelphia (it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, March 8, 2015) as follows.
  1. 'He who is true'
  2. 'He who is holy'
  3. 'He who has the key of David'
We still discuss JESUS APPEARS AS 'HE WHO HAS THE KEY OF DAVID'.

The key od David refers to the mercy and goodness of God.
Jesus appears as 'He who has the key of David'to do the three great things for the church in Philadelphia or all of us as follows.
  1. Opening the door that cannot be shut by anyone, even the door of heaven.
    Revelation 3: 8
3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

It has been explained from Bible Study Service in Surabaya, March 9, 2015 to Prayer Service in Surabaya, April 15, 2015.

  2. Giving the victory over the synagogue of Satan.
    Revelation 3: 9
3:9"Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie--indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

It has been explained from Prayer Service in Surabaya, April 19, 2015 to Prayer Service in Surabaya, May 6, 2015.

  3. Keeping us from the hour of trial which shall come upon the world.
    Revelation 3: 10
3:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

It has been explained from General Service in Surabaya, May 10, 2015
AD. 3 Keeping us from the hour of trial which shall come upon the world

Revelation 3: 10
3:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

There will be the temptations in all aspects of life.
There will be temptations and shakings in all aspects when Jesus will come a second time or in the last days, even the peak happens when the antichrist reigns over the world for three years and six months. This is the greatest temptation.
Jesus, who holds the key of David, will protect usso that we do not become the prey of the antichrist or the same as him that will be destroyed forever.

Who is the antichrist?
The falling away (it has been explained in The Ascension Service in Surabaya, May 14, 2015) and the man of sin (it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, May 17, 2015).

Revelation 13: 1-2
13:1. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.
13:2 Now the beast which I saw was like a
leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority..

We will learn about the antichrist, namely a beast rising up out of the sea.

Genesis 1: 26
1:26. Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

In Genesis 1:26, the fish of the sea are ruled by men. There is a great increase because in the book of Revelation, the fish become a beast having dominion over men.
The facts found in it are as follows.
  1. The antichrist rules over the economy of the world.
    Revelation 13: 17
13:17. and that no one may buy or sellexcept one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

There will be crisis in economyall over the world because all things have been ruled over by the antichrist. This is the antichrist' snare to make men or God's servants not earnestly rely on God or worship Him anymore, but the antichrist.

  2. The antichrist stamps human or God's servants with 666to become His forever.
    Revelation 13: 16, 18
13:16. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is
    666.

The conditionsof human or God's servants whose right hand and forehead are stamped with 666 are as follows.
  1. Worshiping the antichrist or idolas follows.

    • STINGINESSand GREEDINESS
      Colossians 3: 5
3:5. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

      Ephesians 5: 5
5:5. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

      Stinginessmeans one cannot give.
Greedinessmeans one robs the right of God, namely tithes and offerings, and the right of others.

The pastor must be responsible first. How is the destiny of the congregation when the pastor is stingy and greedy?
If someone is stingy and greedy, his heart and mind are ruled over by the evil desire or the love of money and the unclean one.

    • The name is not written in the Book of Life because of doing UNCLEAN and EVIL DEEDSand saying LIE.

      Revelation 13: 8
13:8. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Lifeof the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

      Revelation 21: 27
21:27. But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but onlythose who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

The lie equals to the evil and unclean saying.

Therefore, we need the true teaching Wordsharper than any two-edged sword to sanctify our heart, mind, deed, and saying, so we can worship God, not the antichrist. Not being holy, one will worship the antichrist for sure.

    Psalm 24: 3-5
24:3. Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place?
    24:4 He who has
clean handsand a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.
24:5 He shall receive blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

'ascend into the hill of the LORD'= we ascend to the mountain of worship like Jesus who brought Peter, James, and John up to the mountain to worship God.
    'clean hands' = holy deeds.
'pure heart' = holy heart; without stinginess and greediness.
'Nor sworn deceitfully' = sayingno lie.

If our heart, mind, deed, and saying are holy, we will be able to ascend to the holy mountain of God and worship Him. The worshipmeans that we lift up the sweet smelling aroma of the incense to Godand the ashes or blessings will be for us.

    Psalm 24: 5
24:5. He shall receive blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

We get the rain of God's blessings as follows.

    • Spiritual blessings or salvation= the greatest miracle, namely the life renewal from carnal men or the beast to the spiritual one like Jesus. We cannot be stamped by the antichrist with 666. On the contrary, the carnal men have the stamp 666 in the flesh body, soul, and spirit.

    • The blessings in the marriage or household= joy, unity, and holiness of marriage.

God is the creator of the marriage. It means that we must bring our corrupted marriage to Him and worship Him much more, so all things are finished.

    • Physical blessings. The Lord is able to bless us in the midst of dryness and difficulties in the wilderness of the world.
      Proverbs 10: 22
10:22. The blessing of the LORDmakes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.

We live not by the system of Egypt that is in labor, but the one of heaven, namely the land full of valleys and hills. It means that we rely on the rain of blessings from heaven. The blessings we receive do not come from our own labor, but the mercy of God.

    Proverbs 3: 9
    3:9. Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase;

The proofof receiving the blessings from God is we use them to glorify Him through:

    • the firstfruit offerings,
    • tithes and offerings,
    • alms for the people who need.

    Proverbs 3: 10
3:10. So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

As a result, God preserves us abundantlythat we always give thanks to Him.

  2. Being bent over spiritually.
    Luke 13: 10-11
13:10. Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.
13:11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity
eighteen years, and was bent overand could in no way raise herself up.

The figure eighteen refers to 666.
The meanings of being bent over spiritually are as follows.

    • WORRY
      Proverbs 12: 25
12:25.Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.

It attacks the servants of God in the last days
      .

      Luke 10: 40-41
10:40. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me."
10:41 And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha,
you are worried and troubled about many things.

The worry means there are many questions and troubling one self. There is no joy, especially when there are many questions or doubt about the Word.

      Matthew 6: 31-34
6:31. "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
6:32 "For after all these things
the Gentilesseek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
      6:33 "But
seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be addedto you.
      6:34 "Therefore
do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

'the Gentiles' often have the anxiety about the daily needs.

There are two greats worry that attack the servants of God as follows.

      • The worry about daily life or food, drink, garments.
      • The worry about future life.

The consequences of having the worry are as follows.

      • Not prioritizing God. It means unfaithfulness. Consequently, one loses the the firstborn right or salvation/spiritual things like Esau who wept forever.

The firstborn son also refers to something that one is proud of.

      • Not living in righteousness.
      • Subtractingthe way or age of life, there is no quietness.
        Matthew 6: 27
6:27. "Which of you by worryingcan add one cubitto his stature?

One cubit refers to one arm or one step. It refers to one heart-beat.

Therefore, the servant of God MUSTbelieve and entrust himself fully to God as follows.

      • Serving and ministering to God faithfully and correctly.
        Matthew 6: 33
6:33. "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be addedto you.

As a result, God will add all things.
The plus mark (+) refers to the cross. God adds all things we need or we live by the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, and we will never be in deficit, but surplus, or we have abundant life that can always give thanks to God.

        Romans 8: 32
8:32. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

      • Using every cubitor step of our life to actively minister to God for building the body of Christ.
        Matthew 6: 27
6:27. "Which of you by worrying can add one cubitto his stature?

Why is the cubit used as the measurement?
God commanded Moses to build the heavenly kingdom in the world, namely Tabernacle. All measurements of the Tabernacle are in cubits. Thus the cubit measurement has relationship with Tabernacle. It spiritually means the body of Christ, beginning from the household, church, and the perfect one that is united by the Bride Tidings.

Do not gossip!Let us always testify the Bride Tidings.
As a result, God will add the way of our life with long age, success, joy, up to eternal life.

    • THERE IS NO SATISFACTION IN LIFE,like a thirsty ox or donkey.
      Luke 13: 15-16
13:15.The Lord then answered him and said, "Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkeyfrom the stall, and lead it away to water it?
13:16 "So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham,
whom Satan has bound--think of it--for eighteen years,be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?"

Be careful! If one has no satisfaction in the service and ministry to God, there will be no satisfaction also in the marriage and household or all things for sure. Consequently, he will look for it in the world and fall in sins up to the peak.

'on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey' = Sabbath in Holy Spirit God means that we are given the water in every service to God we do earnestly and we have the peace or satisfaction when we can satisfy Him.

      1 Timothy 6: 6
6:6. Now godliness with contentmentis great gain.

'great gain' = not physical advantage or much money, but the two wings of a great eagle we have from the service with satisfaction and joyful hear. The two wings are useful to fly us to the wilderness, far away from the antichrist.

      Revelation 12: 14
12:14. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

We are preserved directly by God for three years and six months with the true teaching Word and Holy Communion.

Thus, the Bible Study Service is a trainingof evacuation to the wilderness for us.

    • NOT EXPERIENCING THE LIFE RENEWAL= one keeps on being flesh and blood human with the eighteen characteristics of the flesh.
      2 Timothy 3: 1-5
3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
3:2 For men will be lovers of themselves
      (1), lovers of money(2), boasters(3), proud(4), blasphemers(5), disobedient to parents(6), unthankful(7), unholy(8),
      3:3 unloving
      (9), unforgiving(10), slanderers(11), without self-control(12), brutal(13), despisers of good(14),
      3:4 traitors
(15), headstrong(16), haughty(17), lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God(18),
      3:5
having a form of godlinessbut denying its power. And from such people turn away!

'perilous times' = it is difficult to change.
      'lovers of themselves' = egoism.
'unholy' = learning about the other religions and mixing them.

There are two powers of godliness as follows.

      • The true teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword.
      • The cross of Christ.

The eighteen characteristics of the carnal man begin from egoism and end in disobedience --'lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God '.

      2 Timothy 3: 8
      3:8. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith;

The men who do not have the life renewal but resist the truth and support the false are as follows.

      • 'men of corrupt minds'
      • 'disapproved concerning the faith' = departing from faith or the truth or the true teaching Word. There is no righteousness anymore in life.

Such person is the same as the beasthaving no mind and feelings as well as spirit and soul.

The facts found in it is the wild mouth, namely lying, gossiping, slandering, blaspheming the righteous, God, and the true teaching Word.
      Revelation 13: 5-6
13:5. And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.
13:6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

'forty-two months' = three years and six months.
Praise God because He does not want that we have such condition.

Philippians 2: 5, 8-10
2:5.Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
2:8 And embeing found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and
became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10 that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

Jesus willingly dies on the cross for doing these things.
  1. Releasing us from three kinds of the beastruling over the servants of God as follows.

    • 'the beast in heaven' = dragon or Satan.
    • 'the beast under the earth or in the sea' = the antichrist.
    • 'the beast on earth' = false prophet.

  2. Giving us His mind and feelings, namely obedience.
Jesus is obedient to the point of death of the cross. We must be obedient until our flesh does not speak anymore.

  3. Pouring out Holy Spirit to us.
Acts 5: 28-29, 32
5:28. saying, "Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man's blood on us!"
5:29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought
to obey God rather than men.
5:32 "And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."

The obedience or the mind and feelings of Jesus is the strong foundationto receive Holy Spirit. God knows that we cannot face the antichrist if we do not have Holy Spirit.

John 14: 15-18
14:15. "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you
another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--
14:17 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
14:18 "
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

'another Helper' = Holy Spirit.

How great the servants of God in the world are, they are only like orphans when there is no Holy Spirit as follows.
  1. Being weak, there is no power to face temptations in the world, especially the antichrist. One will often be hopeless, disappointed, and deny Jesus like Peter had done before he got the infilling of Holy Spirit at the upper room in Jerusalem. He had been afraid of a little girl. After Holy Spirit filled him up, he dared to preach about Jesus before many people.

We will be able to believe, hope fully in God, and keep faithful and fervent in spirit doing the service and ministry to God or facing all things if we are filled up by Holy Spirit.

  2. Being without Holy Spirit, the Samaritan woman never felt satisfaction.
    John 4: 9, 15
4:9. Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings withSamaritans.
4:15 The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water,
that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw."

    It means as follows.

    • 'have no dealings with' = there are bitterness, envy, jealousy, revenge, and so on in the heart.
    • There is uncleanness like the Samaritan woman who got married for five times and then did adultery with the sixth.

The woman or all of us must give drink to Jesus on the cross, namely confessing all our bitterness and uncleanness. After being forgiven, we do not sin anymore and Holy Spirit will be poured out in our life. We get the satisfaction.

The proof of having satisfaction in our life is our testimony and worship to God.

  3. There are wrong things in the life and marriage like a widow who had a debt and could not pay it.
    2 Kings 4: 1-2, 5-7
4:1. A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, "Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And the creditoris coming to take my two sons to be his slaves."
4:2 So Elisha said to her, "What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?" And she said, "Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil."
4:5 So she went from him and
shut the doorbehindher and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out.
4:6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, "Bring me another vessel." And he said to her, "There is not another vessel." So the oil ceased.
4:7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest."

We must shut the doormuch more or pray and worship God to have a private relationship with Him and correct ourselves until the oil of Holy Spirit is poured out in our life.

The abundant oil of Holy Spirit is able to finish the debts of sin or other debts in time of need until we become five wise virginswho can welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds. We are not like a widow who has no relationship with the husband/head anymore.
God blesses you.
