Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There are four appearances of Jesus in the glory in Revelation 1:13-16 as follows.

  1. [verse 13] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as the High Priest.
  2. [verse 14] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as the King of all kings.
  3. [verse 15] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as the Just Judge.
  4. [verse 16] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as the Heavenly Bridegroom.

ad. 2. The appearance of Jesus in the glory as the King of all kings.
Revelation 1:14
1:14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;

The signs are as follows.

  1. His head and hair are white like wool, as white as snow.
    Daniel 7:9
7:9 "I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow,
And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was a fiery flame,
Its wheels a burning fire;

Daniel also saw Jesus with His white hair and He sat on the throne of Heaven.
White hair is a beautiful crown that is found in the way of righteousness.
Thus, Jesus has white hair and sits on the throne of Heaven refers to Jesus as the King of kings.

  2. His eyes are like a flame of fire.

We are discussing the second sign.
Psalm 11:4
11:4. The Lord is in His holy temple,
The Lord's throne is in heaven;
His eyes behold,
His eyelids test the sons of men.

God's eyes behold us means seeing carefully our spiritual life. It equals to sanctifying us with the fire of the Word, Holy Spirit, and God's love, so we can appear as the servant of God as a flame of fire.

Hebrews 1:7
1:7 And of the angels He says: "Who makes His angels spirits
And His ministers a flame of fire."

In the Old and New Testament, God always works with the fire to sanctify His servants so we can please Him.

  1. The example in Old Testament is Moses. He is a smart and rich person, and he also has high position and potency in this world.
    Exodus 3:2-5
3:2 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.
    3:
3 Then Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn."
3:4 So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."
3:5 Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground."

Before experiencing sanctification with the flame of fire, Moses tried to serve with relying on His potency. But when he served only two people, he failed and even became a murderer. It means ministering with preserving sins, especially hatred, uncleanness, and envy.

Moses must experience sanctification by the fire of the Word, until he takes off his sandals. It refers to outside and inside sanctification, physical and spiritual sanctification, up to sanctification of the mouth.

    Exodus 3:10-11
3:10 Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt."
3:11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?"

Through the sanctification of the Word of God, Moses can say, "Who am I". It means as follows.

    • We confess that we are unworthy. We confess our sins to God and the others. If we are forgiven, we must not do sins anymore.
    • We confess that we cannot serve God with potencies from this world. Thus, we surrender more to God, and He will work to cover our weaknesses so our ministry can please Him.

  2. Another example in Old Testament is Isaiah.
    Isaiah 6:5-8
6:5. So I said: "Woe is me, for I am undone!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King,
The Lord of hosts."
6:6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar.
    6:7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said: "Behold, this has touched your lips;
Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged."
6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."

Isaiah experiences sanctification by the flame of fire from the altar. It means as follows.

    • Experiencing sanctification by the fire of God's love from the Altar of Burnt Offerings, so we can confess our sins and repent.
    • Experiencing sanctification by the fire of God's love from Golden Altar of Incense. It is to sanctify the unclean mouth that likes to gossip, slander, even blaspheme.

Thus, we will be able to say right and good words, and become blessings to the others.
The measure of righteousness is the Word. Although all people say that a matter is right, but if it is not according to the Word, it is a self-truth. If we can be right in the matter of the Word, we will be right and honest in every matter.

  3. The example in New Testament is the disciples in the upper room of Jerusalem. One of them is Peter.
    Acts 4:13
4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

Peter is uneducated, but he is used by God provided that he experiences sanctification.

    Acts 2:1-4
2:1. When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
    2:
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
    2:
3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
    2:
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The disciples including Peter experience sanctification by the fire of Holy Spirit, so his mouth that denied Jesus can be sanctified to a mouth that testifies.
We can testify started from within our marriage. If one does not want to testify, he will deny God.

A mouth sanctified by Holy Spirit will speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gives him/her utterance.

Now, the church of God in the last days must experience sanctification by double flame of fire, because we face the last days with the peak of sins and difficulties.
Sanctification with double flame of fire means as follows.

  1. Sanctification by the fire of the Word, Holy Spirit, and God's love in the Holy Place.
The Holy Place equals to the shepherding pen, where there are three types of equipment that refer to perseverance in three main services as follows.

    • Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts. It equals to sanctification by the fire of Holy Spirit.

    • Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ. It equals to sanctification by the fire of the Word.

    • Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love. It equals to sanctification by the fire of God's love.

Within the shepherding, we experience sanctifications by the fire

    • Sanctification of marriage.
      Ecclesiastes 4:12
4:12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Marriage is sanctified by the fire of the Word, Holy Spirit, and love, so there is unity of marriage. The marriage has one heart, one teaching, one ministry, until it becomes one perfect body of Christ and will enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.

    • Sanctification of our own life, that is sanctification of our body, spirit, and soul, up to sanctification of our mouth. There are no more lies and nothing is hidden.

    Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
    4:
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

If our marriage, body, spirit, and soul are willing to be sanctified until we can be honest, we will be equipped with the ministry and gifts of Holy Spirit. It is the potency from Heaven that is more than everything.
When we are used in the ministry of building the body of Christ, He does not torture us, but beautifies our life.
The more we are sanctified, the clearer God's call and election to us are, and the clearer God's usage to our life is.

    James 3:2
3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

We are sanctified continually until we do not stumble in word. We only say "Alleluia."
Later there will be separation between life who is willing to be sanctified and not. The sanctified one will say "Alleluia" while the rest will groan.

    Revelation 19:6
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

  2. Sanctification by the fiery trial.
    Psalm 11:4
11:4. The Lord is in His holy temple,
The Lord's throne is in heaven;
His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.

    1 Peter 4:12-14
    4:12. Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
    4:
13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
    4:
14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

The fiery trial is flesh suffering without any sins together with Jesus, so the Spirit of Glory rests upon us.

The usefulness of the Spirit of glory is as follows.

    • The Spirit of glory encourages us to keep being faithful and fervent in spirit in ministering God, according to the ministry we received from Him, up to the end line (until we die or until Jesus comes a second time), although there are many sufferings and obstacles.

    • The Spirit of glory renews us from flesh man to spiritual one as Jesus. It is started with being strong and of good courage and being happy in the middle of suffering, because our eyes only see Him and ask for His mercy.

Double sanctification will result in a servant of God who is holy, faithful and fervent in spirit, strong and of good courage. It equals to the servant of God who is as a flame of fire, and as the apple of God's eye.

Psalm 17:8
17:8. Keep me as the apple of Your eye;
Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,

Thus, we will experience the shadow of God's wings or the embrace of God's merciful hands.

  1. The shadow of a hen's wings.
    Luke 13:34
13:34 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!

It means the merciful hands of God care and protect us in the middle of difficulties in this world and in our weaknesses. The merciful hands of God also warm our life, so the love will not grow cold and there is no disobedience.

  2. The shadow of a dove's wings.
    Psalm 55:6-7
55:6 So I said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest.
55:7 Indeed, I would wander far off,
And remain in the wilderness. Selah

It means the merciful hands of God are able to help us to go over the storms in this world as the sea. Thus, we will live in calmness.
When there is peace and calm, everything will become easy and light. All our wearies and heavy burdens will be born by God. All our problems will be solved right in His time.

  3. The shadow of an eagle's wings.
    Revelation 12:14
12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

The eagle's wings will evacuate us to the wilderness far from the presence of the serpent for three years and a half. Antichrist will not be able to see and touch us.
The eagle's wings will also lift us up to the glorious clouds, and make our life beautiful and successful in His time. Being lifted up also means that we are used by God and renewed until we are perfect and as glorious as Him. We will meet Him on the glorious clouds, and sit together with Him on the throne of Heaven.

    Revelation 4:8
4:8. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"

God blesses us.
