General Service in Malang, January 05, 2020 (Sunday Morning)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 10:8-11
10:8 Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, "Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth."
10:9 So I went to the angel and said to him, "Give me the little book." And he said to me, "Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth."
10:10 Then I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

10:11 And he said to me, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings."

The angel refers to the pastor.
The little book which is open refers to the revelation of the word of God.

So, the little book which is open in the hand of the angel refers to the shepherding word or the revelation of the word of God which is entrusted by God to a pastor to be preached to the congregation faithfully, regularly, continually, and repetitively. So, it becomes the spiritual food for them with two tastes, namely the bitter and sweet taste. It means as follows:
  1. The attitudes in hearing the shepherding word.
    Proverbs 27:7
27:7 A satisfied soul loathes the honeycomb, But to a hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.

The positive attitude is that we can hear, receive, and enjoy the shepherding word with a need or hunger like a dog which licks the crumbs. Although it is bitter and not in line with our flesh because it points our sins to sanctify us, it becomes as sweet as honey. We can experience the heavenly joy. The bitter life is turning sweet little by little.

  2. The work of the shepherding pen is sanctifying the heart or the hidden sins (inward man), deeds, and speaking (outward man). It is the sanctification to our whole life.

The sanctification from the six sins inside.

    Colossians 3:5-7
3:5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
3:6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,
3:7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

The sanctification from the six sins outside.

    Colossians 3:8-9
3:8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.
3:9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds
    .

The sanctification to our inward and outward man happens until there is no lie anymore.

    Colossians 3:10
3:10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.
We experience the renewal from the fleshly man to the spiritual one like Jesus, namely we become the sheep of God who are shepherded well and correctly. The facts found in it are as follows:
  1. We are like a branch that attaches to the true vine, the true teaching word, or Jesus.
    John 15:1-3
15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
15:2 "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

15:3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

As a result, we will experience the two things as follows:

    • The sanctification from sins.
      John 13:10-11
13:10 Jesus said to him, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."
13:11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, "You are not all clean."

We are sanctified especially from the five sins of Judas Iscariot as follows:

      1. The thief who steals the possession of God or the tithes and special offering and other people by doing corruption, deceiving, not paying the debts, et cetera.

      2. The liar.
        Revelation 9:20-21
9:20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.
9:21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts
        .

Stealing and speaking lies are the sins which make men attach to Satan, so they can neither attach to God nor be shepherded.

      3. The accuser who judges other people until blaming God or the true teaching word.
      4. The traitor or the unfaithful man.
        Luke 6:16
6:16 Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot who also became a traitor.

After we are sanctified, we can live in holiness.

    • We are never dry in spirituality, but always live in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
      John 15:4-6
15:4 "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
15:6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

The anointing of Holy Spirit makes us faithful in the shepherding pen or the perseverance in doing the three main services to God as follows:

      1. The General Service to get the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the anointing and gifts of Holy Spirit. The sheep are given drink.
      2. The Bible Study Service and Holy Communion to get the fellowship with the Son of God in the true teaching word and sacrifice of Christ. The sheep are fed.

      3. The Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in His love. The sheep are breathing.

The anointing of Holy Spirit makes us faithful and fervent in spirit to serve and minister to God according to the ministry that is entrusted by Him to us until the end line, namely until we pass away or until Jesus comes for the second time.
Although we are like a small branch, we will bear sweet fruits or experience the atmosphere of the New Jerusalem if we are holy and faithful. The term "My Father is the vinedresser" means that we experience the direct preservation from heaven miraculously and abundantly until we can give thanks and become blessing for other people.

  2. We are like a colt which is bound to the chosen vine, Jesus, or the true teaching word.
    Genesis 49:11
49:11 Binding his donkey to the vine, And his donkey's colt to the choice vine, He washed his garments in wine, And his clothes in the blood of grapes

The colt refers to the Gentiles.

    Judges 15:16
15:16 Then Samson said: "With the jawbone of a donkey, Heaps upon heaps, With the jawbone of a donkey I have slain a thousand men!"

In the shepherding, the Gentiles experience the sanctification by the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus from the characteristics of the Gentiles as follows:

    • The characteristics of the swine or the unclean colt which make men live in sins up to the peak, namely the sins of eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse and the ones of marrying-being given in marriage such as sexual affairs, adultery between man and woman who are not legal spouse, homosexuality, lesbianism, wrong marriage, until enjoying in sins.

We are sanctified until we hate sin.

      Proverbs 11:22
11:22 As a ring of gold in a swine's snout, So is a lovely woman who lacks discretion.

Actually a ring of gold must be put in ears. It refers to the obedience.
The characteristic of the swine which is not obedient is sanctified to be obedient.

    • The characteristic of the dog or the wild colt is having a wild tongue or the idle words, gossips, slander, and blasphemy.
The wild tongue is sanctified to be the correct, holy, and right one.

    • The characteristic of worry.
      Matthew 6:31-33
6:31 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
6:32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

It makes men neither trust nor prioritize God, but leave Him. It must be sanctified, so men have faith, trust, and surrender their whole life to God.

    Mark 11:2,7
11:2 and He said to them, "Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it.
11:7 Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it.

As a result, the colt could be sat on by Jesus in His last journey to Jerusalem. It means that the Gentiles are used in the revival of Holy Spirit at the later rain or the edification of the perfect body of Christ. It begins from the marriage, shepherding, and inter-shepherding, until the Israelites and the Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ to welcome the second coming of Jesus and enter the New Jerusalem. The ministry of the edification of the body of Christ is the same as the journey to the New Jerusalem.

    Matthew 11:8
11:8 "But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed, those who wear soft clothing are in kings' houses

The revival of the edification of the body of Christ is the one of faith, namely we like giving. It begins from returning the tithe and special offering that belong to God. We also give to the works of God and other people who are in need or the alms. We serve and minister to God faithfully and righteously and we can prioritize Him. [Matthew 6:33].

    Isaiah 11:5
11:5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist

It means that we serve and minister to God by wearing a belt or the ornaments of the bride.

    Jeremiah 2:32
2:32 Can a virgin forget her ornaments, Or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number.

Our life is made beautiful. The journey to heaven is the beautiful one.

All of our need is added through the cross, so we are never in minus condition.

  3. We are like a spiritual baby who always needs the pure and spiritual milk or the shepherding word.
    1 Peter 2:2-3
2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.
2:3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious
    .

We are like a baby who always cries and remembers God.
    Isaiah 49:14-16
49:14 But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me."
49:15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
49:16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me
    .

Our position is in the merciful hand of God. It means that we are never forgotten by God. He always watches, cares, and struggles for us.

    The results are as follows:

    • God inscribes us on the palm of His hand. It means that His hand is able to preserve us who are small and powerless in the midst of difficulties in the world until the age when Antichrist rules over the world for three and a half years.

The merciful hand of God carries and bears all of our weariness and heavy burdens, so we get easy and light.

The merciful hand of God is able to do all things that we can neither do nor think. He finishes all of impossible problems.

    • God says "Your walls are continually before Me".
      Revelation 21:12
21:12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

The merciful hand of God leads us to pass through the wall of the New Jerusalem. It means that He leads us to the successful and beautiful future life. We are renewed from the fleshly man to the spiritual one like Jesus. It begins from being honest or we say yes if yes and no if no.

      The physical miracles also happen.

It continues until we are perfect or do not stumble in words anymore to welcome the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds and enter the New Jerusalem.
God blesses you.
