Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 16:8-9
16:8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.
16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

The pouring of the forth bowl of God's wrath is on the sun, so it scorches men with fire.

Actually, the sun refers to the great, just, and perfect love of God which is radiated to the sinners so that they can be as perfect as Jesus is and get the eternal life. If the love of God is rejected, it will be the scorching fire of judgment.

Until now, God still gives the opportunity to repent, but someday there will be no chance anymore to repent. Why?
  1. Because one dies suddenly before repenting.
  2. Because the heart is hard like Pharaoh or Satan, the feelings are dull because of ambition, and the mind is dark or meaningless. The consequences are as follows:

    1. He lives in the darkness or without faith although he may be born or dwell in the church. The chance for repenting becomes smaller. On the contrary, any fire of test we may face will not destroy us, but purify us if we live in faith, no matter where we live.

    2. He cannot repent, but blasphemies God although he has been condemned by the fire. Finally, he perishes forever.
There are five things which are condemned by the scorching fire as follows:
  1. Sins up to the peak like Sodom and Gomorrah.
  2. The priests or God's servants who serve to Him with strange fire.
  3. Ones who yield to intense craving.
  4. Ones who leave God or the service and ministry to Him.
  5. Ones who like oppressing others.
Ad.4. Ones who leave the true service and ministry to God.
Hebrews 10:25-27
10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the mannerof some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
10:26 For if we sin
willfullyafter we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
10:27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

The level starts from the habitual sin or unfaithfulness in the service and ministry to God without being guilty.
It continues to the intentional sin, namely deliberately not committing the service and ministry to God although the chance and facility have been provided.

The consequence is being punished by the scorching fire from the world up to the hell.

Jeremiah 2:13
2:13 "For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns--broken cisterns that can hold no water.

It is the same as the condition of Israel who has committed two evils as follows:
  1. Leaving the service and ministry to God which are based on the true teaching Word or living water.
  2. Going to the false teachers, teachings, service and ministry, and worship.
Be careful! On the last days, it will happen again, namely the church of God is condemned by the scorching fire.

2 Kings 1:1-6
1:1 Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.
1:2 Now Ahaziah fell through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria, and was injured; so he sent messengers and said to them, "Go, inquire of Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I shall recover from this injury."
1:3 But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, "Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them, 'Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron?'
1:4 "Now therefore, thus says the LORD: 'You shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'"So Elijah departed.
1:5 And when the messengers returned to him, he said to them, "Why have you come back?"
1:6 So they said to him, "A man came up to meet us, and said to us, 'Go, return to the king who sent you, and say to him, "Thus says the LORD: 'Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending to inquire of Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'"'"

For example, Ahaziah, the king of Israel, or the son of King Ahab did not come to God or the true service and ministry to Him, but to Baal-Zebub or the idolatry and the false service and ministry to God when he was sick. Consequently, he did not get any chance for repenting and being healed. He died.

2 Kings 1:7-8
1:7 Then he said to them, "What kind of man was it who came up to meet you and told you these words?"
1:8 So they answered him, "A hairy man wearing a leather belt around his waist." And he said, "It is Elijah the Tishbite."

On the contrary, Elijah the prophet had the following conditions:
  1. Hairy man. It means being in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
  2. Wearing a leather belt (from the slain animal) around his waist. It means being in righteousness and redemption by the blood of Jesus and having the fire of God's love.
It refers to a prophecy that can happen to us. On the last days, when Jesus will come a second time, we must be careful and watchful always as a priest or God's servant for always coming to God through the true service and ministry to Him. As a result, we are always filled by the fire of God's love so that we do not work with the strange fire or god.

King Ahaziah sent a captain of fifty with his fifty men to meet Elijah three times as follows:
  1. The arrogant captain who felt great and relied on his position, intelligence, and wealth in the world until being condemned with the scorching fire.
    2 Kings 1:9-10
1:9 Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty men. So he went up to him; and there he was, sitting on the top of a hill. And he spoke to him: "Man of God, the king has said, 'Come down!'"
1:10 So Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, "If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men." And fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.

  2. The arrogant captain who felt great and relied on his position, intelligence, and wealth in the world until being condemned with the scorching fire.
    2 Kings 1:11-12
1:11 Then he sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty men. And he answered and said to him: "Man of God, thus has the king said, 'Come down quickly!'"
1:12 So Elijah answered and said to them, "If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men." And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.

  3. A humble captain who felt as nothing or could not do anything, but only lived by the mercy of God to get the fire of His love.
    2 Kings 1:13-14
1:13 Again, he sent a third captain of fifty with his fifty men. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and pleaded with him, and said to him: "Man of God, please let my life and the life of these fifty servants of yours be precious in your sight.
1:14 "Look, fire has come down from heaven and burned up the first two captains of fifties with their fifties. But let my life now be precious in your sight."

As a priest, we must persevere in committing the three main services to God in the sheepfold so that we can be humble. Committing the service to God only once or twice, one may be arrogant still. We remember about Jesus' three questions to Peter. Peter could be aware after the third question.

Why do we have to persevere in the three main services to God?
  1. The activities in the three main services to God make us unable to glance or turn our eyes into the other services. We do not inquiry about the other services or gods like Ahaziah.

  2. We can get the renewal from the arrogant fleshly man to the humble spiritual man like Jesus, so we have the fear of the Lord.

    2 Kings 1:15
1:15 And the angel of the LORD said to Elijah, "Go down with him; do not be afraid of him." So he arose and went down with him to the king.

It is the same as faithfulness [Joshua 24:14], hating sins up to lies, living in righteousness [Proverbs 8:13], and being obedient [Ecclesiastes 12:13].
Isaiah 11:1-3
11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2 (1)The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, (2)The Spirit of wisdom and (3)understanding, (4)The Spirit of counsel and (5)might, (6)The Spirit of knowledge and (7)of the fear of the LORD.
11:3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;

We live in the anointing of Holy Spirit with the seven manifestations for fighting against Baal-Zebub or the king of flies that destroys the anointing of Holy Spirit and increase the fleshly lusts.

Ecclesiastes 10:1
10:1 Dead flies putrefy the perfumer's ointment, And cause it to give off a foul odor; So does a little folly to one respected for wisdom and honor.

Without the anointing of Holy Spirit, men become foolish and cannot do anything.

The anointing of Holy Spirit makes us able to worship Jesus, the King of all kings, or the Heavenly Bridegroom. We can cry out the name of God and stretch out our hands or surrender fully to Him.

God will stretch out His merciful hands to us.

Isaiah 11:1
11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

As a result, Holy Spirit makes the rod or something which is dead or has no hope to grow the bud, flower, and fruit.
  1. Yielding fruit means that Holy Spirit is able to change our life from the sinful fleshly man (death) to the spiritual one like Jesus is (life), namely yielding the fruits of the Spirit.
    Galatians 5:22-23
5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
5:23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

love, joy, peace= the images of Father God.
longsuffering, kindness, goodness= the images of the Son of God.
faithfulness, gentleness, self-control= the images of Holy Spirit God.

We are returned to the image of the Trinity of God or the first creation.

  2. Blooming means that Holy Spirit gives the gifts, so we are used in the ministry of the edification of the perfect Christ's body. It starts from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, until Israelites and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ.

  3. Producing buds means that the dead can be made alive. Holy Spirit is able to protect and preserve our life in the midst of crises in the world until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years. Spiritually, Holy Spirit puts to death the sinful deeds, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
Holy Spirit is able to delete all impossibilities.
Holy Spirit is able to give the beautiful successful future life.

It continues until we are changed to be perfect and worthy to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds and enter the Paradise and the New Jerusalem.
God blesses you.
