General Service in Malang, November 29, 2020 (Sunday Morning)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 12:3-18
12:3. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
12:4. His tail drew a third of the stars of heavenand threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devourher Child as soon as it was born.
12:5. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.
12:6. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
12:7. And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels
fought,
12:8. but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
12:9. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
12:10. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
12:11. "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
12:12. "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."
12:13. Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he
persecutedthe woman who gave birth to the male Child.
12:14. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
12:15. So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might
cause her to be carried away by the flood.
12:16. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
12:17. And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to
make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
12:18. Then I stood on the sand of the sea.

There are six activities of Satan as follows:
  1. [Revelation 12:4a] His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven.
  2. [Revelation 12:4b] Devouring.
  3. [Revelation 12:7] Fighting.
  4. [Revelation 12:13] Persecuting or catching up fast.
  5. [Revelation 12:15] Causing the woman or the church of God to be carried away by the flood.
  6. [Revelation 12:17] Making war or persecuting.
ad. 1. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven.

The physical star refers to one who is the best or worthy before men. It is coveted and contested by men in the world. But unfortunately, it is easily faded or impermanent.
The spiritual star especially refers to the shepherd who gives the angels' food or the shepherding word, so he becomes the pattern for the congregation.
Generally, the star refers to one who is used to glorify God, and he will be glorified by God forever. It is the same as the priests and kings or the servants of God.

But, the dragon's tail draws a third of the stars of heaven.
Isaiah 9:14
9:14. The elder and honorable, he is the head; The prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail.

The tail refers to the prophet who teaches false teaching or lies.
The false teaching will draw a third of the stars of heaven, namely the servants of God who are used in the Bride Tidings or the chosen people.
The false teaching triggers the lust of the flesh until it cannot be controlled by the true teaching word as follows:
  1. The unclean desire, namely the sins of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
The examples are Hophni and Phinehas.

  2. The bitterness, namely envy, hatred without a cause, and revenge to the righteous or blessed people.
    The example is Esau.

  3. The evil desire or the will of money.
    The example is Judas Iscariot.
Hophni, Phinehas, Esau, and Judas Iscariot are the chosen people but they fall because of false teaching which triggers the lust of the flesh.

That is why we must make effort to ask God's mercy, so we become the shining stars or the priests and kings. We do not fall but we always glorify God in all aspects of our life and become blessing for others.

Philippians 2:12-15
2:12. Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
2:13. for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
2:14. Do all things without complaining and disputing,
2:15. that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

The process of becoming the shining star is as follows:
  1. [Philippians 2:12a] Obeying the true teaching word.
In the Tabernacle, it refers to the Table of Showbread. It refers to perseverance in committing the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ.

In the perseverance in committing the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion, we receive the power to hear and obey the true teaching word delightfully until it is ingrained in our life.
As a result, we can live in holiness.

If we do not want to hear and obey the true teaching word, we will keep becoming the flesh and blood men who commit sins up to the peak. The sin is ingrained in our life up to perdition.

  2. [Philippians 2:12b] Working out our own salvation with fear and trembling of God.
Fear and trembling are the same as having faithfulness and responsibility, and fervency in Spirit.

In the Tabernacle, it refers to the Golden Candlestick. It refers to perseverance in committing the General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His anointing and gifts.
In the General Service, we receive the anointing of Holy Spirit, so we can minister to God faithfully and responsibly, and fervently according to the gifs of Holy Spirit that God gives to us.

  3. [Philippians 2:14] Do all things without complaining and disputing!
Complaining and disputing are the meaningless words or without love. Without love, all things will be in vain and destroyed.

Not complaining and disputing are the good words or with love.
In the Tabernacle, it refers to the Golden Altar of Incense. It refers to perseverance in committing the Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love.
In the Prayer Service, we receive God's love, so we can result in the words of love, namely the one that glorifies God, becomes blessing for others, and testifies and worships God delightfully.
[Philippians 2:15] The process to become the shining star that does not fall as well as cannot be drawn by the dragon's tail is in the shepherding or the Holy Place or the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God.
It is the same as the apostles of the first rain

Acts 2:41-42
2:41. Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
2:42. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Romans 8:35
8:35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

The church of the last rain must be the same as the church of the first rain, namely being shepherded well and correctly.
In the sheepfold, our body, soul, and spirit attach to the trinity of God like the branch that abides in the true vine.
The results are as follows:
  1. We experience the sanctification of the physical and spiritual life (body, soul, and spirit) continuously by the word which God has spoken or the one whose secret is revealed through one verse that explains the other verses in the Holy Bible. It is the true teaching word.
    John 15:3
15:3. "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

    Acts 20:28-35
20:28. "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
20:29. "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
20:30. "Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
20:31. "Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.
20:32. "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
20:33. "I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.
20:34. "Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me.
20:35. "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

The stupid or smart people in the world cannot receive Jesus' word, but the shepherded people can.
The purification in the sheepfold is the one of deeds and words until the heart is purified from evil desire, unclean desire, and bitterness. We just desire the pure milk of the word, so we can receive the heavenly wisdom and say 'It is more blessed to give than to receive'. We can return the possession of God as well as give to the work of God and to others who are in need. All of these are signified with blood or sorrow.

    Psalm 84:10
84:10. For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

    1 Peter 3:17
3:17. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

    Daniel 12:3
12:3. Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.

Those who are wise shall become the shining stars. They glorify God forever and become the blessing for others. They will not fall forever.

  2. We always watch at night or on the last days, so we do not become the fallen star.
    Acts 20:31
20:31. "Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.

    Luke 2:8
2:8. Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night.

If we watch in the sheepfold, the trinity of God will watch over us.
    John 15:1
15:1. "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.

Jesus as the High Priest defends and watches over us. He always protects and takes care of us in the midst of the difficulties in the world until the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
We are protected from the sins, so we keep living in righteousness and holiness before God. If we fall into sin, He is still able to lift us up.
The example is David. He fell in adultery with Bathsheba, but he prioritized the shepherding and confessed his sin, so he was lifted up.

We watch in the shepherding, so we do not experience spiritual cold or the condition without love.
    Jeremiah 36:21-23
36:21. So the king sent Jehudi to bring the scroll, and he took it from Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the hearing of the king and in the hearing of all the princes who stood beside the king.
36:22. Now the king was sitting in the winter house in the ninth month, with a fire burning on the hearth before him.
36:23. And it happened, when Jehudi had read three or four columns, that the king
cutit with the scribe's knife and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the scroll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.

The fact found in the spiritual cold or the condition without love is cutting the true teaching word. It means hearing but not obeying it; even doing the thing that is not in line with it until rejecting it and receiving the false one.
Consequently, he will be punished by God up to perdition.

    Philippians 2:16
2:16. holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

In the sheepfold, we receive God's love, so we are not separated from Him.
The fact is that we keep holding fast the word of life that has been ingrained in our life. We do not want to hear other teachings. We are not doubted by other teachings. We do not turn to other teaching but obey the true teaching word until the flesh does not speak anymore.
As a result, the star shines in the merciful hands of Jesus.
We confess that we just live by the true teaching word or God's mercy.

    Revelation 1:20
1:20. "The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.

We are in the right hand of God.

    The results are as follows:

    1. Psalm 16:11
16:11. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

God's right hand gives us pleasures forevermore, namely great caring physically up to the abundance in the midst of crisis.
We can enjoy God's blessing as well as become blessing for others.

We also experience great caring spiritually, so we are joyful in sorrow.

    2. Exodus 15:6-7,4-5
15:6. "Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.
15:7. And in the greatness of Your excellence You have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; It consumed them like stubble.
15:4. Pharaoh's chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea.
15:5. The depths have covered them; They sank to the bottom like a stone.

We are weak, but God's right hand is able to give us victory.
All of impossible problems are finished by God. We receive successful and beautiful future like the stars.
Pharaoh was great and rich but he died because of being outside of God's merciful hand.

    3. Psalm 118:16
118:16. The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

The right hand of the LORD exalts or uses our life.
We are glorified to become God's witnesses.

The hand of God purifies and changes us up to perfection, so we are worthy to greet Him when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds.
God blesses us.
