Prayer Service in Malang, April 03, 2012 (Tuesday Evening)

Exodus chapter 13 to 15 refers to Brazen Laver in Tabernacle. It refers to baptism of water.
There are two kinds of song as follows.
  1. Exodus 15:1-18, the song of Moses.
It equals to the song of the Lamb of God or the song of Heavenly Bridegroom. It is the joy of heaven.

    Revelation 15:2-3
15:2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.
15:3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!

The song of Moses remains at the sea of glass mingled with fire before the throne of God with the victory over the beast and his image or victory over antichrist and false prophet.

  2. Exodus 15:19-21, the song of Miriam.

    Exodus 15:19-21
15:19 For the horses of Pharaoh went with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought back the waters of the sea upon them. But the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.
15:20 Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took the timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
15:21 And Miriam answered them: "Sing to the LORD, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!"

It equals to the song of the Church of God or the song of Heavenly Bride.

    Exodus 15:1, 21
15:1. Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying: "I will sing to the LORD, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!
15:21 And Miriam answered them: "Sing to the LORD, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!"

The content of the song of Moses in verse 1 equals to the content of the song of Miriam in verse 21.
Meaning the joy in the Church of God must be the reflection of heavenly joy. They must be same.
If the song in the Church of God is not the reflection of heavenly joy, it will become the joy of the world or flesh that will go toward Babylon or idolatry.

    Exodus 32:18-19
32:18 But he said: "It is not the noise of the shout of victory, Nor the noise of the cry of defeat, But the sound of singing I hear."
32:19 So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. So Moses' anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

There is song only on the throne of God. If the dancing is added, there will be golden calf or idolatry. It must be not around the throne of God.

The content of the song of the Church of God is as follows.
    • Glorifying God.
      Exodus 15:1-3
15:1. Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying: "I will sing to the LORD, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!
15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father's God, and I will exalt Him.
15:3 The LORD is a man of war; The LORD is His name.

    • Confessing sin and bearing witness about God’s power.
      Exodus 15:4-9
15:4 Pharaoh's chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea.
15:5 The depths have covered them; They sank to the bottom like a stone.
15:6 "Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.
15:7 And in the greatness of Your excellence You have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; It consumed them like stubble.
15:8 And with the blast of Your nostrils The waters were gathered together; The floods stood upright like a heap; The depths congealed in the heart of the sea.
15:9 The enemy said, 'I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, My hand shall destroy them.'

    • Worship.
      Exodus 15:10-13
15:10 You blew with Your wind, The sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
15:11 "Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?
15:12 You stretched out Your right hand; The earth swallowed them.
15:13 You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation.

    • Prophecy song up to Canaan or New Jerusalem.
      Exodus 15:14-18
15:14 "The people will hear and be afraid; Sorrow will take hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.
15:15 Then the chiefs of Edom will be dismayed; The mighty men of Moab, Trembling will take hold of them; All the inhabitants of Canaan will melt away.
15:16 Fear and dread will fall on them; By the greatness of Your arm They will be as still as a stone, Till Your people pass over, O LORD, Till the people pass over Whom You have purchased.
15:17 You will bring them in and plant them In the mountain of Your inheritance, In the place, O LORD, which You have made For Your own dwelling, The sanctuary, O LORD, which Your hands have established.
15:18 "The LORD shall reign forever and ever."

Be alert, the song of the Church can be gone and the joy of heaven will become lamentation. It occurs when the Church is captured or captivated by the sin of Babylon, namely sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, being drunk, gambling, drugs abuse, and sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage or sexuality sin. There is no song anymore by the river of Babylon but crying.

    Psalm 137:1-5
137:1. By the rivers of Babylon, There we sat down, yea, we wept When we remembered Zion.
    137:2 We hung our harps
Upon the willowsin the midst of it.
137:3 For there those who carried us away captive asked of us a song, And those who plundered us requested mirth, Saying, "Sing us one of the songs of Zion!"
137:4 How shall we sing the LORD’S song In a foreign land?
137:5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, Let my right hand forget its skill!

Therefore, we have to keep our holiness in life. Riches or intelligence or other things in the world will be meaningless if there is no holiness in marriage or life because all songs or joy will become lamentation, even weeping and gnashing of teeth in the sea of fire and brimstone forever.

The willows refer to the servants of God.
The willows by the river of Babylon become the place to hang the harps. It equals to a boxer hanging his gloves, meaning he stops boxing. Meaning there are many servants of God who minister God unfaithfully and not righteously even leaving the ministry or hanging the harps. Why can it happen?
    • Because of being captured or captivated by Babylon.
    • Because of being spiritual dry, far away from the river of living water. It means one is near Babylon. The river of living water equals to perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.

      1. Golden Candlestick = the living water of Holy Spirit.
      2. Table of Showbread = the living water of God’s Word.
      3. Golden Altar of Incense = the living water of God’s love.

God is not willing that we are captivated or captured by Babylon and become spiritual dry. He will pour out the living water of heaven or Holy Spirit in the midst of us.

The function of the living water of Holy Spirit is as follows.
    • To water the willows, referring to the servants of God, to make them keep faithful and fervent in spirit in the service and ministry up to the end.

      Isaiah 44:3-4
      44:3For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring;
44:4 They will spring up among the grass
      Like willows by the watercourses.

If we have the living water, we can make promise expressly that being the servant of God is our last job nothing may change. We can serve God until the end, namely we die or Jesus comes a second time.

    • To make dead thing alive physically and spiritually.
      Ezekiel 47:8-9
47:8 Then he said to me: "This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed.
47:9 "And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.

Physically, the living water of heaven is able to preserve our physical life, in economy, et cetera, although we are in the midst of impossibilities. The living water of heaven is able to settle all problems, even the dead can be made alive.
Spiritually, the living water is able to heal our spirituality. Our past life in uncleanness and wickedness can be made righteous and holy.

    • The living water brings us to the throne of New Jerusalem.
      Revelation 22:1
22:1. And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

The living water renews our life from flesh men to spiritual men who are clear as crystal, referring to honesty.
The honesty begins from honesty about the teaching, marriage, finance, and all aspects in life.
Not being honest, one cannot enter New Jerusalem or heavenly kingdom because New Jerusalem is clear as crystal.

      Proverbs 15:8

15:8. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

If one is not honest, the more he gives offering to God, the more abomination he does before God.
If we are honest, we will become the house of prayer. Our service, ministry, and worship will be acceptable to God and He will answer our prayer.
Until someday we are changed to become as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time to welcome Him on glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
