Prayer Service in Malang, April 26, 2016 (Tuesday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation chapter four and five are about the ambience of the kingdom or the throne of heaven.
It refers the Ark of Covenant in Tabernacle which consists of two parts as follows:

  1. The Mercy Seat is made of gold with two cherubs [Exodus 25:17-18]. The first cherub refers to God the Father, the Mercy Seat with the sprinklings of Blood refers to Son of God, and the second cherub refers to God the Holy Spirit. Thus, the Mercy Seat is God the Trinity in the persona of the Lord Jesus Christ in the glory as the Bridegroom of Heaven.

  2. The Ark is made of acacia wood overlaid with gold. The acacia wood is black. It refers to the flesh man that is brittle and sinful. The wood is overlaid with gold. It means the life renewal by the work of the Word, Holy Spirit, and love until we become perfect like Jesus; we become the Bride of Heaven.

The life that experiences the renewal by the Word, Holy Spirit, and love will become the throne of God on earth. The more we are renewed, the more we feel the ambience of the throne of God.
Until we are renewed to become perfect to be lifted up and sit together with God on the throne of heaven.

The process of the renewal of life is as follows:

  1. The renewal through water baptism or the conscience renewal.

    1 Peter 3:20-22

3:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
    3:21
There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
    3:22
who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

    Genesis 6:5-6

6:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
    6:6
And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

The heart of man tends to do evil continually and results in sin up to the peak of sins which is the sin concerning eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, and drug abuse) and the sin of marrying-being given in marriage (sexual sin with all of its kinds and the wrong marriage). It makes the heart of God, pastor, and parent grieved. The heart tends to do evil continually and results in deed that harms others. The sins come up before God so the punishment will occur.

For that reason, we must enter the right water baptism. The person who dies to sin or repents must be buried in water together with Jesus to rise with Him and receive the new life, namely the heavenly one. We have good conscience that results in deed and saying which are right and good. Until we can pay evil with kindness.

The good conscience is the strong base to receive the blessing of God from the throne of heaven that is the physical and spiritual blessing (the salvation and the joy of heaven). It is the strong base to lift us up to the throne of heaven. We can prioritize God or ministry more than anything.

  2. The renewal through the worship prayer.

    Matthew 17:1-2

    17:1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
    17:2
and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

The worship prayer is the process to rip the flesh so the flesh man is renewed to become the spiritual one like Jesus. The renewal starts from face.

    1 Samuel 1:1-3, 6-11, 15-18

1:1 Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the mountains of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.
    1:2
And he had two wives: the name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
    1:3
This man went up from his city yearly to worship and sacrifice to the Lord of hosts in Shiloh. Also the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord, were there.
    1:6
And her rival also provoked her severely, to make her miserable, because the Lord had closed her womb.
    1:7
So it was, year by year, when she went up to the house of the Lord, that she provoked her; therefore she wept and did not eat.
    1:8
Then Elkanah her husband said to her, "Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?"
    1:9
So Hannah arose after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on the seat by the doorpost of the tabernacle of the Lord.
    1:10
And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish.
    1:11
Then she made a vow and said, "O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head."
    1:15
But Hannah answered and said, "No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord.
    1:16
"Do not consider your maidservant a wicked woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now."
    1:17
Then Eli answered and said, "Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him."
    1:18
And she said, "Let your maidservant find favor in your sight." So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad.

The example is Hannah is sad because of stress, ill-will, the ruin of marriage and children.

The way out is coming to the house of the Lord. It means being shepherded in good and right shepherding. There is exhortation and comfort from the Word of God.

The result is Hannah vows. It means she experiences the purification. We live in holiness and we are able to love each other even we can love our enemies. Thus, we can pray and worship God. God the Maker is able to finish the problems of marriage and children that are impossible until our face become the beaming one.

  3. The renewal through the sprinkling of blood or the cross or temptation.

    1 Peter 4:12-14

    4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
    4:13
but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
    4:14
If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

It is the flesh suffering together with Jesus.
God allows us to experience the sprinkling of blood so the Holy or Glory Spirit is poured on our life. The Glory Spirit is able to change the flesh man to become the glorious one like Jesus.

    Romans 8:15

8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

We obey the Word until the flesh does not sound anymore. It is like stretching out our hands to God. We trust and entrust our life fully to Him. Then, He will stretch out His hands (the power of Holy Spirit) towards us.

    The results are as follows:

    • The sea is divided. The doors in the world are open.
      Exodus 14:16, 21-22

14:16 But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
      14:21
Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.
      14:22
So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

Holy Spirit gives the way out from all problems. He finishes all problems even the impossible ones in due time. Holy Spirit gives the guarantee of beautiful and successful future.

    • The door of heaven is open for us.
      Matthew 7:21
7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

It means we are employed by God in the revival of Holy Spirit at the last rain, the building of the body of Christ according to the ministry that God trusted until the end line. It starts from marriage, sheepfold, and inter-shepherding.

We are purified and changed until we become perfect as Jesus is. We are lifted up to glorious clouds until we sit together with Him on the throne of heaven forever.

God blesses us.
