Prayer Service in Malang, April 30, 2013 (Tuesday Evening)

(To Coincide with Fasting Prayer Service Session III)

Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:16-20 is about the commandment to preach the gospel or to spread the light or shekinah glory. It means we are employed by God in the great revival according to the great commission of the Lord as follows.
  1. [verse 18-19] The revival of Holy Spirit at the early rain.
    Matthew 28:19
28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

It is the revival in gospel word or the gospel of salvation. It is also called Good Tidings to bring the sinners to get the salvation through the water baptism. It is the revival of salvation.

  2. The revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
    Matthew 28:20
28:20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

It is the revival in the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ or the teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. It is called Bride Tidings to bring the people who have been saved to enter the building of Christ’s perfect body, be sanctified, and perfected to become the Bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming as Heavenly Bridegroom on glorious clouds. It is the revival of perfection.
If we are employed in the spiritual revival, we will be accompanied by God[Matthew 28:20b]. The accompaniment of God is a main need in our life that cannot be replaced by anything. All things in the world such as success, physical blessing, as well as service and ministry to God will be meaningless if God does not accompany us. Moreover, the kingdom of heaven will be meaningless if there is no Jesus there.

Exodus 33:1-4
33:1. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Depart and go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought out of the land of Egypt, to the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, 'To your descendants I will give it.'
33:2 "And I will send My Angel before you, and I will drive out the Canaanite and the Amorite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite.
33:3 "Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people."
33:4 And when the people heard this bad news, they mourned, and no one put on his ornaments.

In the great revival of the house of Israel from Egypt to Canaan, they get a terrible threat, namely God does not want to accompany them. It means they are separated from God. In such condition, there will be failure and perdition; all things become meaningless.

Why does God not want to accompany the house of Israel? It is because they are stiff-necked or hard-hearted.
Romans 11:25-26
11:25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
11:26 And so
all Israelwill be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;

A part of the house of Israel is still stiff-necked or hard-hearted until now, so they reject Jesus as the Savior.

Romans 11:17-18
11:17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,
11:18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.

Because of that reason, there is an opened chance and mercy for the Gentiles to believe in Jesus and be saved as the branch of wild olive tree that is grafted in among the original olive tree.
As a result, ‘all Israel’ can be saved, namely the original Israel and the Gentiles.

Romans 11:20-22
11:20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear.
11:21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
11:22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you,
goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

The house of Israel, the chosen people or the original branches of the olive tree, has hard heart. Consequently, they are cut off, separated from God, and dead. Moreover, the Gentiles or the branches of the wild olive tree should not be hard-hearted or arrogant. Do not feel that you are employed by God and deserving but you must heed the goodness of God, so He will accompany you.

The facts found in heeding the goodness of God are as follows.
  1. Repenting or stopping sinning to return to God.
    Romans 2:4-5
2:4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
2:5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

The process is through confessing our sin to God and other people by the encouragement of the work of the true teaching Word. Being forgiven, we should not repeat the sin but live in righteousness.

    Psalm 37:25-26

37:25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
37:26 He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.

As a result, we are preserved and blessed up to our descendants and we become blessing for other people.

  2. Being faithful and fervent in spirit doing our service and ministry to God until the end line. In addition, we must be faithful and true.
    2 Corinthians 4:1
4:1 Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart.

Actually, only Israel and his descendants may serve and minister to God. Nevertheless, God opens the way for the Gentiles by His mercy through the sacrifice of Christ. As a result, the Gentiles may serve and minister to God to become the priests and kings.
If we appreciate the mercy of God, we will never lose heart, become disappointed or hopeless until leave the service and ministry to God but be faithful and fervent in spirit doing our service and ministry to God until the end line.

    Revelation 19:11
19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

As a result, we are employed by God in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain for building the body of Christ.
If one is hard-hearted, not faithful, and not righteous, he will be employed for the building of the body of Babylon and separated from God forever.

  3. We experience the renewal done by Holy Spirit.
    Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

We are renewed from carnal man to spiritual one as Jesus is.
The renewal begins from obedience until our flesh does not speak anymore.

    Revelation 3:8
3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

As a result, God will open a door for us and no one can shut it. Although we have only little strength, the great power of God will widely open the door for us as follows.

    • All doors in the worldare opened. It means we have solution from all problems, even the impossible one. God is able to create beautiful, successful, and joyful future life.

    • The door of the wildernesswhere we are fled is opened.
We are fled to the wilderness by the power of the two wings of a great eagle when antichrist reigns over the world.

      Revelation 3:10
3:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

    • The door of New Jerusalemis opened
      Revelation 3:12
3:12 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

It means we experience the sanctification and life renewal continually until we are as glorious as Jesus is; we become the pillar in New Jerusalem.
God blesses you.
