Prayer Service in Malang, August 08, 2023 (Tuesday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 19:16
19:16. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Jesus as the Lord of lords and servants means that He is the High Priest, the head of the priests.
Jesus as the King of kings is the head of the kings.

So, Jesus appears as the High Priest and the King of kings.

That is why we must become the priests and kings who are anointed with Holy Spirit, so we win over the sin. We can live in righteousness and holiness. We win over challenge and obstacle, so we can minister to God faithfully and fervently until the finish line.

A priest must have the three things as follows:
  1. The good characteristic, namely obedience and faithfulness.
  2. The ability from God, namely the gift of Holy Spirit.
  3. The true ordination [Exodus 29] which is related with the cloth [Exodus 28].
Exodus 28:37
28:37. "And you shall put it on a blue cord, that it may be on the turban; it shall be on the front of the turban.

The spiritual meanings of the turban are as follows:
  1. The submission of a priest that is shown through prayer and totally surrendering to God.
    1 Corinthians 11:6
11:6. For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.

The hair refers to the submission.

If a priest does not submit, his hair will be shaved up to being bald, so he is tossed by Satan and the lust of the flesh as a ball. If a wife does not submit to her husband, she will be tossed by Satan and her husband as a ball.

    1 Corinthians 11:15-16
11:15. But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering.
11:16. But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God.

The fact of the priest or a wife who does not submit is contending and being against the others.

The spirit of disobedience can happen either one is in trouble or blessed.
    The example is Saul.

    1 Samuel 13:6-7,12-14
13:6. When the men of Israel saw that they were in danger (for the people were distressed), then the people hid in caves, in thickets, in rocks, in holes, and in pits.
13:7. And some of the Hebrews crossed over the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was still in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.
13:12. "then I said, 'The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.' Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering."
13:13. And Samuel said to Saul, "You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the LORD your God, which He commanded you. For now the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.
13:14. "But now your kingdom shall not continue. The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you."

In a confined situation, the fleshly mind that contradicted Jesus' mind affected Saul, so he became disobedient, stupid, and reckless.

    1 Samuel 15:13-15
15:13. Then Samuel went to Saul, and Saul said to him, "Blessed are you of the LORD! I have performed the commandment of the LORD."
15:14. But Samuel said, "What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?"
15:15. And Saul said, "They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the LORD your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed."

In a blessed situation, the fleshly mind appeared, so Saul's heart was filled up by the lust of the flesh that contradicted the will of God, so he became disobedient.

    Consequently, Saul lost his kingdom.
Now, it means that one stops ministering to God, so he loses his ministry even the heavenly kingdom up to the perdition.

    1 Corinthians 11:5
11:5. But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.

If a priest submits to God, the ministry will increase up to the worship. He becomes the house of prayer and his prayer rises before God.

    Proverbs 28:9
28:9. One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination.

If one does not submit to God, his prayer will become an abomination. He becomes the den of thieves who will be destroyed.

  2. The adornment.
    Exodus 28:2
28:2. "And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.

    1 Peter 3:4-6
3:4. rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentleand quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
3:5. For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being
    submissiveto their own husbands,
3:6. as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.

The spiritual adornments are as follows:

    • Gentleness, namely we can receive the teaching Word to purify us no matter how hard it is. We can receive others' weakness, so we can forgive them and forget it. We can also receive others ' superiority, so we can take the example of them.

    • Quietness. It means that we do the introspection in our life by the sharpness of the sword of the Word. Finding sin, we must confess. Do not sin anymore after being forgiven! Finding no sin but being blamed, we must keep silent. We do not defend ourselves but we surrender all to God.
Quietness also means not having too many negative comments.
A woman does not teach nor has authority over man.

    • Beingsubmissiveor obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore like Sarah who obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. It means exalting Jesus as the High Priest or the Lord of lords.

      Genesis 18:11-15
18:11. Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.
18:12. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, "After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?"
18:13. And the LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh, saying, 'Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?'
18:14. "Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."
18:15. But Sarah denied it, saying, "I did not laugh," for she was afraid. And He said, "No, but you did laugh!"

Sarah had the permanent weakness, namely she was barren and she had passed the age of childbearing. It was impossible to have a child, so she experienced bitterness, tears, and suffering.

But Sarah submitted to her husband and God, so she experienced the opening of womb. It means as follows:

      1. Experiencing the power of God to take away the impossibility. He finishes all of impossible problems. He restores the destroyed marriage and children.

      2. The power of God is able to change the bitterness into happiness.
        Genesis 21:5-7
21:5. Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.
21:6. And Sarah said, "God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me."
21:7. She also said, "Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age."

The bitter things become sweet. God is able to wipe our tears.

      3. The power of God to take away our reproach or spot.
        Genesis 30:22-23
30:22. Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb.
30:23. And she conceived and bore a son, and said, "God has taken away my reproach."

The power of God purifies and changes us up to perfection. The gates of the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, Paradise, and the New Jerusalem are opened for us.
God blesses us.
