Prayer Service in Malang, August 29, 2019 (Thursday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 9:13-21 is about the sound of the sixth trumpet or the sixth judgment of the Son of God, so a third of mankind is killed by the great war.

Revelation 9:17-18
9:17. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone.
9:18. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed--by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.

The brimstone is the weapon used by Satan to destroy people in the world silently, so no one realizes it.

Satan wants to kill body, soul, and spirit through spiritual brimstone, namely the death which works silently. It is hard to be detected and we often do not realize it. It refers to false teaching and miracle (physical miracle without purification, so sins keep increasing).

Revelation 20:10,14
20:10. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
20:14. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Approaching the second coming of Jesus, the false teaching tries to mislead and destroy human including God's chosen people, namely the servants of God who are used in the true teaching.
One may be deceived if he starts focusing on physical things, namely the ones that please his flesh but without purification.

Matthew 24:24
24:24. "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

The examples of the chosen people are Adam and Eve who were in Paradise. They were the first chosen people who were created by God. Eve was deceived by the serpent or Satan by false teaching without realizing it.

Genesis 3:1
3:1. Now the serpentwas more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he saidto the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eatof every tree of the garden'?"

Genesis 2:16
2:16. And the LORD God commandedthe man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

The false teaching is the one that is not according to the true teaching word or the bible. It turns the true teaching word to make the flesh comfortable.

Be careful! The woman or wife falls first. Eve was deceived through her senses, starting from the ear, namely daring to hear other teaching.

Genesis 3 : 2-3
3:2. And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden;
3:3. "but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' "

If the ear is deceived, the mouth will err, namely adding and taking away the true Word to make the flesh comfortable until it has no spiritual value or is without purification.

Genesis 3:6
3:6. So when the woman sawthat the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

Consequently, the eye has the fleshly sight. It means that one sees the thing that makes the flesh comfortable although it is forbidden by God until sacrificing spiritual thing and salvation.
Esau lost everything because of the fleshly sight.

Genesis 3: 5
3:5. "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

Satan uses the fleshly way to become like God until sinning or being deceived.
The true way to become like God is through the nose. It means the worship, including fasting prayer.
The worship is the process to tear the flesh until it does not sound anymore.

Genesis 3: 10
3:10. So he said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraidbecause I was naked; and I hid myself."

And the last, the skin or feeling becomes naked. It means that one is fearful and ashamed.

The consequence of the deception is that Eve became disobedient to God or the true teaching word, so she was driven out of Paradise.

Eve refers to the church of God and woman (daughter, girl, wife, mother, and widow).

Be watchful! The beginning of deception is opening ear to hear other teachings including gossips. It is the same as opening the gate of Paradise to go out and close it, so one cannot return forever.

If the ear is deceived, our life and marriage will be destroyed. It starts from Eve as a wife or mother, and followed by Adam as a husband or father (the head) who does not hold fast the true teaching, so he follows his wife who is wrong.
Consequently, the children are destroyed, namely Cain killed Abel, his own brother.

The ways to fight against the deception are as follows:
  1. The true water baptism, namely one who has died to sin or repented must be buried in the water with Jesus and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life.
The new life is the new heart and mind like Jesus, namely obeying the true word until the flesh does not sound anymore, so we are not lost.

    1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20. who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21. There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

  2. The fasting prayer.
The true fasting prayer means giving a greater opportunity to the true teaching word in the anointing of Holy Spirit to purify our heart and mind to become like Jesus.

    Matthew 6 : 16-17
6:16. "Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
6:17. "But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,

The heart and mind of Jesus means obeying God until the flesh does not sound anymore, so we cannot be deceived.

    Philippians 2 : 5-8
2:5. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
2:6. who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
2:7. but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
2:8. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

    Philippians 2 : 9-11
2:9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Himand given Him the name which is above every name,
    2:10. that at
the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
2:11. and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus receives the name which is above every name because He becomes obedient to the point of death on the cross.
If we become obedient until our flesh does not sound anymore, we are worthy to cry the name of Jesus and we will experience the power of His name.

Obedience is the same as holiness.

    The results are as follows:

    • We experience the power of winning over the trinity of Satan, who is the source of problems, sins, and false teachings, so we can live in righteousness and holiness. All problems and sins are finished, and we will not be lost.
      Philippians 2 : 10
2:10. that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

The sin is the heaviest burden of men in the world up to the hell. If the sin can be finished, all problems up to the impossible ones will surely be finished too, so our face will beam.

    • We experience the power of lifting up, namely we are used in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ. It starts from marriage, shepherding, and inter-shepherding until the perfect body of Christ is formed.

      Philippians 2:9
2:9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Himand given Him the name which is above every name,

      Acts 13:2-5
13:2. As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, "Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them."
13:3. Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.
13:4. So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.
13:5. And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as their assistant.

      Acts 13:6-8
13:6. Now when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Jesus,
13:7. who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.
13:8. But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith.

There are two hindrances in the ministry of the building of the body of Christ as follows:

      1. The spirit of antichrist, namely the love of money that makes one greedy and stingy.
Stinginess means that one cannot give to others.
Greediness means that one steals God's and others'.

      2. Cleverness or logic that makes one unable to serve God with faith.
Remember! Faith is able to make the thing that we cannot think.

In the ministry of the building of the body of Christ, we can minister by helping and praying one another and working together.

      Acts 13:12
13:12. Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.

    • We experience the power of the renewal of life. It starts from being honest and obedient.
We are honest to confess our sin and in every word of our mouth.

      Philippians 2:11
2:11. and that every tongue should confessthat Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

As a result, the spiritual and physical miracles happen.

      John 21:3-6
21:3. Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
21:4. But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
21:5. Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?" They answered Him, "No."
21:6. And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.

If we do not obey God, we will fail although we are great. We will lose what we have.
If we become honest and obedient, we will surely become successful. The miracle happens; from nothing to something. We experience God's caring miraculously and abundantly until we give thanks to Him.

      John 4:16-17
4:16. Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here."
4:17. The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You have well said, 'I have no husband,'

God is able to help the crisis of marriage if we are honest and obedient. The marriage will be restored. We receive the new wine.
God is also able to help the crisis of future like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego faced. They did not want to worship the gold image, so they were cast into the burning fiery furnace. It means that they had no future. But, they were honest and obedient, so God helped them, and they experienced successful and beautiful future.

      Daniel 3:16-18
3:16. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
3:17. "If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
3:18. "But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to become as perfect as He is. We do not stumble in words. We are worthy to greet Him when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds. We are happy with Him forever.
God blesses us.
