Prayer Service in Malang, February 07, 2017 (Tuesday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 5:1
5:1 And I saw in the right handof Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.

The scroll refers to the Holy Bible that is revelation from God for His servants who are employed by Him.

The Word of God is written in two placesin Exodus 20-23 as follows:
  1. Exodus 20:1-17: The Word of God is written in two tablets of stone or our heart and mind.
  2. Exodus 20:22: The Word of God is written in scroll or the letter of our life or attitude.

Thus, the Word of God is written in our whole life.

Exodus 20:18
20:18 Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it,they trembled and stood afar off.

The ambience of the writing of the Word of Godis as follows:
  1. The lightning flashes.
It means that the light teaching Word is conveyed continuously to reveal the hidden sin among congregation. As a result, the congregation can confess their sin and receive the forgiveness from God. Thus, men are free from the punishment.

  2. The thundering.
It means that the hard teaching Word reproves hard so we repent and are born again.
The true water baptism is like Jesus' being baptism. We must get such water baptism, namely the life that is dead from sin must be buried in water and rise together with Jesus in new life or the life in righteousness. Such life is saved and free from punishment.

For example, King David was reproved hard when he did sin. David could confess sin to God and others. He was forgiven and did not sin anymore. He repented and lived in righteousness so he was saved and not destroyed.

    2 Samuel 12:12-13
12:12 For you did itsecretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, before the sun.'"
    12:13
So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the Lord." And Nathan said to David, "The Lordalso has put away your sin; you shall not die.

If one is hard-hearted in keeping the sin, the teaching Word will reprove harder. There are two possibilities. If one becomes gentle and willing to repent, he will be saved. If one is hard-hearted, he will perish like Judas Iscariot.

  3. The sound of trumpet.
If we repent and are reborn, the teaching Word will become exhortation. It means showing us the things we should do.

    Psalm 73:24
73:24 You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me toglory.

The exhortation is the guidance hands of God, so we can life in righteousness, holiness, up to glory.
It is also the guidance hands of God to give us the way out from problems.

    1 Corinthians 14:3
14:3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.

If there is an exhortation, there will be comfort. There is joy in the midst of sorrows. We are also employed in the building of the perfect body of Christ.

  4. The mountain smoking.
It refers to the anointing of Holy Spirit. If the true teaching Word is conveyed among congregation, the singing, testimony, activity, the way of life and consecration are true. The anointing of Holy Spirit will be poured in congregation.

The functions of the anointing of Holy Spiritare as follows:

    1. Giving ability to hear, understand, believe, and have faith, until obeying the Word. We has the fear of the Lord. We are afraid of sinning. We live in righteousness and holiness.

      Exodus 20:19-20
20:19 Then they said to Moses, "You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die."
      20:20
And Moses said to the people, "Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin."

    2. Bringing us closer to God until we can worship Him.

      Exodus 20:21
20:21 So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was.

The eyes see God, the mouth cry out His name and the two hands are stretched out to God. Then, God will stretch out His Holy Spirit hands to us.
      The results are as follows:

      • We experience the calmness and peace. Everything becomes light and easy. We are saved spiritually, not cursed nor punished, but blessed up to our descendants and we have the eternal life.

        Psalm 62:1
62:1 Truly my soul silently waitsfor God;From Him comesmy salvation.

      • We are strong and of good courage, not disappointed or desperate and do not leave God whatever the risk may come. When we are blessed, we must not be proud, but keep faithful in worshiping God.

        Psalm 34:18-20
34:18 The Lordisnear to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.
        34:19
Many arethe afflictions of the righteous, but the Lorddelivers him out of them all.
        34:20
He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken.

As a result, we experience the power of resurrection from God. There is beautiful and success future. All problems are finished even the impossible ones. 'Not one of them is broken'means that the family becomes one; there is no cleavage, until we become one perfect body of Christ. We become the bride of heaven who is ready to greet the second coming of Jesus on glorious clouds.
God blesses us.
