Prayer Service in Malang, February 10, 2015 (Tuesday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 2:14-15
2:14 Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality.
2:15
Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.

Jesus comes with the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword to purify the congregation in Pergamos from false teaching.

The false teaching encourages to the false worship that leads to worship for Antichrist.
The practices of false worship are as follows:
  1. The sight is only on physical things such as blessing, sign, and physical miracle. Also ignoring the spiritual things.
    Revelation 13:13-15
13:13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people.
    13:14
Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.
    13:15
The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

  2. The heart and mind are sealed by the spirit of selling-buying or Antichrist.
    Revelation 13:16-17
13:16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,
    13:17
so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

    The proofs are as follows:

    1. One often sacrifices the spiritual things to get the physical ones.
    2. One is stingy (cannot give for others) and greedy (taking other’s especially God’s that is tithe and special offering).
    3. One is trading the Christ’s sacrifice or keeping the sin up to the peak of sin that is eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. He falls and rises in sin.

  3. The mouth utters blasphemies.
    Revelation 13:5-6
13:5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemiesand to exercise its authority for forty-two months.
    13:6
It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.

It starts from slander, blaspheming the teaching of Tabernacle, refusing the true teaching Word, and supporting the false.
Revelation 2:16
2:16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Refusing the sword of Word, the result is being left when Jesus comes a second time and receiving the punishment sword of God.

Jesus comes with the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword to purify us. It begins from the heart and mind.

John 4:23-24

4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
4:24
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

The true worship is encouraged by the true teaching Word in anointing of Holy Spirit.

Matthew 15:19

15:19 For out of the heart come (1)evil thoughts—(2)murder, (3)adultery, (4)sexual immorality, (5)theft, (6)false testimony, (7)slander.

The sword of Word purifies our heart from seven wills of evil and uncleanness thus it becomes holy and our eyes are able to see God.

Matthew 5:8

5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Our heart is filled by God’s love so we can obey Him. We can stretch out our hands to God, our eyes can see Him, and our mouth can cry out Jesus’ name and Alleluia. This is the true worship.
God will stretch out His hands towards us and we are in His arms.

1 Peter 5:5-6

5:5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proudbut shows favor to the humble.”
5:6
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

The results are as follows:
  1. God’s loving hands are able to release Israel from slavery in Egypt.
    Deuteronomy 7:7-8
7:7 The Lorddid not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples.
    7:8
But it was because the Lordloved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

It means God’s loving hands are able to release us from slavery of sin up to the peak of sin, eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
God’s loving hands are able to release us from the influence of the world so we can minister to God faithfully and fervently in spirit. His loving hands are able to release us from temptation, sorrow, tears, even the impossible problems are solved by God in due time. Our tears are wiped by Him and we feel joy.

  2. God’s loving hands are able to lift us up in due time.
    1 Peter 5:6
5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

God’s loving hand is able to make everything successful and beautiful in time. His hands are able to employ our life in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latest rain, the revival of the building of body of Christ.
God’s loving hands are able to change us from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus, starting from waiting patiently God’s time, surrendering, and crying out to Him.

If the spiritual miracle happens, the physical one will also happen. The more we are changed, the more He employs us, the more beautiful our life is and His miracle is more concrete.

Until we are changed to become as glorious as He is, the mouth only cries out Alleluia, and we are lifted up on glorious clouds to greet Jesus’ second coming. This is the most beautiful thing in our life until we enter the throne of God.
God blesses us.
