Prayer Service in Malang, July 07, 2015 (Tuesday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3:1-6 is about the church in Sardis.

Revelation 3:5-6
3:5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
3:6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’

The promises of God for the church in Sardis who overcomes and is willing to be purifiedare as follows:
  1. One shall be clothed in white garment.
  2. His name is written in the Book of Life.

Revelation 13:8

13:8  All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The condition of our name is written in the Book of Life is we must worship God, not Antichrist. Do not worship God unwillingly so we will not be forced to worship Antichrist. One who worships Antichrist will become the den of thieves. If we worship God, we will become the house of prayer.

Matthew 21:12-13

21:12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.
21:13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’”

The condition to become the house of prayer is we must be purified by the teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. If we refuse the teaching Word, God will come with chastisement so we return to righteousness. What are the things that must be purified? The things are as follows:

  1. The spirit of selling-buying. It is the will of evil and money.
It is serving and ministering to look for the physical things. The evil will result in stinginess and greediness. The stinginess is one cannot give for the work of God and others. The greediness is one takes others’ and God’s right.

  2. The spiritual blindness or the darkness of sin.
    Matthew 21:14
21:14 Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

Until the peak of sin that is the sin of eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. One lives in blindness and the darkness of sin.

  3. Falter between two opinions or the double-minded or the doubt.
It is living blindly in teaching. One thinks that all teachings are same and he does not hold fast the true teaching Word.

    1 Kings 18:20-21

18:20 So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel.
18:21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.

If the teaching is not right, the worship is also not right.

  4. The indignant spirit. It is envy, revenge, hatred until one without reason.
    Matthew 21:15
21:15 But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant

Matthew 5:8

5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

If the heart is purified, we will able to worship God and see His face that is shining like the sun. The results are as follows:
  1. The love of God gives peace in the midst of the shakes of world.
    Numbers 6:26
6:26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,and give you peace.”’

We do not feel anything that flesh feels, but surrendering fully to God, loving Him more than anything until everything becomes easy and light.

  2. We experience the protection and caring of Godat the last age of world that is like Sodom and Gomorrah.
    Genesis 19:23
19:23 The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar.

We get protection from sin up to the peak of sins, false teaching, disaster, doomsday, until the punishment of hell.
We get the physical caring in the midst of difficulties and impossibilities of the world and also the spiritual one, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.

    Genesis 19:26

19:26 But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

We struggle so we will not become a pillar of salt but the pillar. We keep strong and of good courage, following and ministering God until the end line up to the New Jerusalem. We become witness.

  3. The sunshine changes us from carnal man to spiritual one.
    Luke 9:28-29
9:28 Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
9:29 As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.

It starts from our face is changed, it returns to the image and the pattern of God the Trinity that is obedience.

    Philippians 2:8-10

2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

If we obey until the flesh does not sound anymore, we will get the power of Jesus’ name to defeat Satan. All problems are finished by God; the failure will change into success and beauty in time. Jesus’ name is attached to our name [Isaiah 4:1], we have a new name. We become the Bride who is as glorious as God is. When Jesus comes a second time, we can be lifted to see Him face to face.
God blesses us.
