(To Coincide with Fasting Prayer Service Session III)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3:7

3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens"

Jesus appears as One who holds the key of David to do the three great thingsfor the church in Philadelphia as follows:
  1. [Revelation 3:8] To open the doors that cannot be shut by anyone.
  2. [Revelation 3:9] To give victory over the congregation of Satan.
  3. [Revelation 3:10] To protect us from the day of temptation that will come for the entire world.
We are learning the third one namely to protect us from the day of temptation that will come for the entire world.

Revelation 3:10

3:10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

At the end of age near the time of Jesus' second coming, all men (including children or the servants of God) will experience the temptations increasingly until the Antichrist reigns on earth for three and half years. The temptation cannot be faced by anything in this world but the key of David only.

The temptation that happens at the end of age has already happened at the time of Joseph and Daniel. It is also experienced by Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego.

Daniel 3:1, 6, 19

3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height wassixty cubits andits width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
3:6
and whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace."
3:19
Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego face the temptations as follows:
  1. Worshipping an image of gold that represents the Antichrist.
  2. The fire that is heated seven times means as follows:

    • The persecution of Antichrist for three and half years. It has never happened and will never happen again until the head is beheaded.
    • The impossibilities.

  3. The accusation, slander, blasphemy.
Daniel 3:8
3:8 Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came forward and accused the Jews.

God allows us to face the temptation as the test. It is the sprinkling blood or the flesh suffering together with Jesus, because there is glory behind the cross. Without the cross there is no glory but destruction and perdition.

When we are facing the temptation, do not look for the way out that is not according to the Word. It is the stalemate and perdition.

Daniel 3:16-18

3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
3:17
If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver usfrom your hand, O king.
3:18
But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

The attitudes of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego that are small and powerless when they face the temptation are as follows:
  1. Persevering in shepherdinguntil the peak that is persevering in worshiping God until the measurement of worship is reached that is the flesh does not sound anymore. We keep on worshiping God altough we are helped or not by Him.

    Revelation 11:1

11:1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.

The worship prayer is also measured with the rod or shepherding Word that is obedience until the flesh does not sound anymore.

  2. Rejecting to worship the image(Antichrist) whatever the risk may come. One does not deny Jesus' name.

    Daniel 3:18

3:18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

The proofs of being released from the spirit of selling-buying are as follows:

    • Looking for money legally or it is according to the Word.
    • One is neither stingy (able to give) nor greedy (able to return the belonging of others and God that is tithe and special offering).

    • Not worrying.
      Matthew 6:27
6:27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

We only fully depend on God. We use every step of our life to be active in the building of the perfect body of Christ, being faithful and fervent in ministry according to the one that God gives us.
Perseverance and obedience are the same as stretching out the hands to God and giving our selves fully to God. The important thing is not being helped or not, but God is with us and we live in His hands.

Daniel 3:24-25

3:24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste andspoke, saying to his counselors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?" They answered and said to the king, "True, O king."
3:25
"Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."

Jesus in the glory will accompany us and stretch out His hands for us that are small and powerless. The results are as follows:
  1. We experience the caring and protecting of Godin the midst of difficulties and impossibilities of this world, until the age of Antichrist.

  2. We experience the physical miracleand the help from God to finish problems until the impossible ones.
    Daniel 3:26
3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace andspoke, saying, "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here." Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire.

  3. We experience the power of lifting up by the mercy hands of God.
    Daniel 3:30
3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego in the province of Babylon.

We are employed in the building of the body of Christ. We are employed as His witness.

    Daniel 3:28-29

3:28 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God!
    3:29
Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this."

We are employed means we receive the tunic of many colors and God will make everything successful and beautiful in time.

Being lifted also means being sanctified and changed little by little until perfect as Jesus is. The life renewal starts from countenance. The mouth says truth, not lies. Say yes if yes and say no if no. Being honest in the true teaching Word and confessing the sin, the face is beaming. Until Jesus comes a second time, we are lifted up until we sit together with Him on heaven's throne.
God blesses us.
