Revelation 1:17-18
1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
1:18
I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

John was exiled to Patmos Island to suffer in the flesh without any sin because of the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, thus he fell at Jesus' feet as dead or worshiping God with a broken heart until the flesh does not sound anymore. At that time, John experienced the touch of God’s right hand. We are allowed to suffer in the flesh and fall down at God’s feet or we worship Him until the flesh does not sound anymore. We will experience three things as John experienced, as follows:
  1. "Do not be afraid"means receiving the peace from God that cannot be affected by anything.
  2. "I am the First and the Last"means receiving the first love and the perfect one.
  3. "I was dead, and am alive"means receiving the persona of Jesus that defeats the death.
3. "I WAS DEAD, AND AM ALIVE"
It is receiving the persona of Jesus who wins over the death and holds the key of Hades so we will not enter it and fall in sin up to the peak of sin. Jesus also holds the key of kingdom of Heaven and gives it to us.

Matthew 16:18-19
16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
16:19
And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

The key of kingdom of Heaven is as follows:
  1. [Acts 14:22] The cross.
  2. [2 Peter 1:10-11] The ministry.
  3. Doing or obeying the will of God = always saying yes to the voice of true teaching Word.
    Matthew 7:21
7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Fatherin heaven.
How do we do the will of God? There are three things that must be purified in our life, as follows:
  1. THE EARS.
    2 Timothy 4:3-4
    4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
    4:4
and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

The ears that like hearing the strange voice must be purified. The strange voice is everything that is not in line with the true teaching Word.

    John 10:27-28
10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
    10:28
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

If the ears are purified, we will hear and obey one voice of shepherding Word. Jesus as the Great Shepherd will guarantee our physical and spiritual life until eternal one.

Let us be watchful, if we give opportunity to the strange voice, we will lose everything.
    Genesis 3:1-2
3:1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
    3:2
    And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden;

    Genesis 3:23-24
3:23 therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken.
    3:24
So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Eve gave opportunity to hear the strange voice and she lost Heaven.
    1 Kings 13:1, 9, 11, 18-19, 23-24
13:1 And behold, a man of God went from Judah to Bethel by the word of the Lord, and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.
    13:9
For so it was commanded me by the word of the Lord, saying, ‘You shall not eat bread, nor drink water, nor return by the same way you came.’”
    13:11
Now an old prophet dwelt in Bethel, and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel; they also told their father the words which he had spoken to the king.
13:18 He said to him, “I too am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, ‘Bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.’” (He was lying to him.)
    13:19
So he went back with him, and ate bread in his house, and drank water.
13:23 So it was, after he had eaten bread and after he had drunk, that he saddled the donkey for him, the prophet whom he had brought back.
    13:24
When he was gone, a lion met him on the road and killed him. And his corpse was thrown on the road, and the donkey stood by it. The lion also stood by the corpse.

The result of hearing the strange voice is being killed by the lion that is Satan until spiritually dead.

  2. THE HEART.
    Matthew15:18-19
15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
    15:19
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

Things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart. If the heart is not purified, the mouth cannot say yes or cannot obey God’s will.
If the heart still keeps one of the seven things, it will never obey God’s will.

    Hebrews 4:12
4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Let us pray for the revelation of teaching Word in every service that is able to pierce the thoughts and intents of the heart so we can obey the Word.

    Ezekiel 11:18-20
11:18 And they will go there, and they will take away all its detestable things and all its abominations from there.
    11:19
Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
    11:20
that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

We become God’s people, the life that is cared and protected by Him.

  3. THE MOUTH.
    John 6:60-61
6:60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying; who can understand it?”
    6:61
When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you?

The mouth experiences the purification, as follows:

    • Purification to the mouth that grumbles and criticizes the Word.
    • Purification to the mouth that grumbles when facing the sprinkling of blood.
      James 5:9-11
5:9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned.Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!
      5:10
My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.
      5:11
Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

The right attitudes are as follows:

    • When the true teaching Word is preached, we must listen It solemnly (with a need) until we understand, believe, have faith, and practice the Word.
    • When facing the sprinkling of blood, we always give thank and fall down to worship God.

      Mark 14:36-39
14:36 And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
14:37 Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour?
      14:38
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
      14:39
Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words.

      Philippians 2:8-11
2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
      2:9
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
      2:10
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
      2:11
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

When Jesus obeyed God’s will and fell down facing the sprinkling of blood, He received the name which is above every name to defeat Satan trinity.

The functions of Jesus’ name for us are as follows:

      1. Calming the winds and waves.
        Matthew 8:23-26
8:23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.
        8:24
And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.
        8:25
Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
        8:26
But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

It means the power of Jesus’ name is able to solve all our problems.

      2. Taking our reproach in life that is sin.
        Isaiah 4:1
4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying,“We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel;only let us be called by your name,to take away our reproach.”
      3. Lifting up and returning us to heaven.
        Luke 23:40-43
23:40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
        23:41
And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.”
        23:42
Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
        23:43
And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

The mouth can cry out Jesus’ name with ears, heart, and mouth that are purified, and then there is hope that we can be helped and returned to paradise by God to receive the eternal life.
God blesses us.
