Peace and grace in the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 10:11
10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Why does Jesus appear as the Good Shepherd? Because He wants to repair the things that have been destroyed by Satan, even perfect them.
Jesus appears as the Good Shepherd by giving His soul for the sheep.

The duty of the Good Shepherd is calling the sheep by His voice, namely the Shepherding Word.
John 10:3

10:3 "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheepby name and leads them out.

The Shepherding Word is entrusted by God to a pastor to preach to the congregation faithfully, regularly, and repetitively to become the food for them so that they may grow to spiritual maturity and perfection like Jesus. The Word is preached repetitively to call the sheep.

Numbers 27:15-17
27:15 Then Moses spoke to the LORD, saying:
27:16 "Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set
a manover the congregation,
27:17 "who may go out before them and go in before them, who may lead them out and bring them in, that the congregation of the LORD may not be like sheep which have no shepherd."

The Lord only appointed a man to shepherd the hundred thousand even million people of the house of Israel.
On the last days, the Shepherding Word is a double Word as follows.

  1. Gospel Word/ Good News/ milk to call the sinful men so that they may believe in Jesus and be saved.
  2. The true teaching Word sharper than any two-edged sword/ solid food/ Bride Tidings to choose the saved people, sanctify, and perfect them to be as perfects as Jesus is or His bride.

The Good Shepherd calls the sheep twice as follows.

  1. Calling the lost sheep.
  2. Calling the sheep that are in the pen.

We will learn the first one.
Matthew 15:24
15:24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

Jesus only calls the lost sheep of the louse of Israel, the chosen people of God.

Romans 11:25-26

11:25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israeluntil the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
11:26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;

Nevertheless, the opportunity for the Gentiles to receive the calling of God or be saved is open because a part of Israel has hardened their heart. This is the mercy and goodness of God for the Gentiles.

There are three kinds of God’s calling to the lost sheep as follows.

  1. The calling to the lost sheep, namely Christians who live in the curse.
    Malachi 3:7-9
3:7 Yet from the days of your fathers You have gone away from My ordinances And have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you," Says the LORD of hosts. "But you said, ‘In what way shall we return?’
3:8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings.
    3:9
You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation.

    Genesis 3:17-19

3:17 Then to Adam He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it': "Cursedis the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life.
    3:18 Both
thorns and thistlesit shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field.
3:19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return."

The atmosphere of curse means difficulties (being far away from the blessings of God) and thorns or bitterness in heart.
Dust will return to dust. It means that one keeps on being carnal man that does not inherit heavenly kingdom. The life only satisfies the lust of the flesh, pursues fleshy things, and even sacrifices spiritual matters.

    Genesis 3:14

3:14 So the LORD God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dustAll the days of your life.

Consequently, he or she only becomes the food of serpent or Satan to perish forever.

Why can the sons or servants of God enter the curse? Formerly, Adam and Eve were cursed because of stealing and eating the fruit of God. Now, it means stealing and eating the possession of God, namely the tithes and offerings. In such condition, one is eating and living in the thorns.

    Malachi 3:10
3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this," Says the LORD of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

The solution is receiving the calling of God through returning the tithes and offering to God. As a result, we live according to the cycle of heavenly kingdom, namely the tithes results in the food in the house of the Lord or Shepherding Word that we hear and obey, and then God opens the windows of heaven to pour the blessings for us.

    Galatians 3:13-14
3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us(for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),
3:14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Jesus dies on the cross to bear the curse of sin and pour the blessing of Abraham, namely physical blessings up to our descendants and we can become blessings for others. Spiritual blessing, namely Holy Spirit, is also poured out to us, the Gentiles. It is the proof that we have been set free from the curse of sin and the condemnation of God. Holy Spirit is able to make us safe and perfect.

  2. The calling to Christians who are weary, heavy laden, and scattered.
    Matthew 11:28
11:28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Why are they weary and heavy laden? Because of keeping sin in mind, deeds, and saying.

    Matthew 11:29

11:29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

The solution is receiving the calling of God through learning from Jesus on the cross, namely Jesus who is gentle and lowly in heart.
Lowliness in heart means the ability to confess the sin honestly to God and others as well as not doing it again after being forgiven.
Sinning without confessing the sin means arrogance. Moreover, sinning and blaming others means being the same as Satan with the peak of arrogance.
Gentleness is the ability to forgive the sin of others and forget it.
As a result, the blood of Jesus forgives and finishes our sins. Holy Spirit is poured out and we find rest and peace in Him.

    Matthew 11:30

11:30 "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

As a result, Holy Spirit makes all things easy and light.

  3. The calling of God to the ones that have thirsty, dissatisfied, and dry spirituality.
    Revelation 22:17
22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Spiritual dissatisfaction can be detected from the dry tongue or vain words, gossips, disappointment, hopelessness, bitterness in heart and uncleanness. The thirstiness attacks the marriage as well as the service and ministry to God.

    John 4:15
4:15 The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw."

Many Christians look for the satisfaction in the well of the world through looking for the riches, intelligence, position, even by legalizing all ways. They look for the satisfaction by sinning up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, and concerning marrying-being given in marriage or sexuality sin with all its kinds.
All things in the world cannot satisfy men, so they keep thirsty. Moreover, they faint and become lukewarm, dry, and dead spiritually until perish forever.

Only one thing can satisfy us, that is Holy Spirit. How great a Gentile is, he or she is thirsty and dissatisfied like the woman of Samaria if there is no Holy Spirit.

    John 4:10, 16-18

4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
4:16 Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here."
4:17 The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’
4:18 "for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly."

The process of receiving Holy Spirit is the Gentiles receive the work of the sword of the Word that pierces the heart and mind, the source of sins, bitterness, and disappointment. We must confess our sins honestly, regardless of any risk we have to take. After we are forgiven, we must not repeat the sin.

    Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Holy Spirit is able to renew the Gentiles from the carnal men to spiritual ones as Jesus is.

    Ephesians 4:24-28

4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
4:25 Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
4:26 "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath,
4:27 nor give place to the devil.
4:28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.

The signs of new men are no lie, no anger without the love, and not stealing.
If the spiritual miracle happens, the physical one will also happen. Holy Spirit is able to return all things we have lost. He is also able to repair the destroyed things and change our life until we are perfect.

God blesses you.
