Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 2:18-29 is about the church in Thyatira.
Revelation 2:25
2:25 "But hold fast what you have till I come.

"hold fast what you have till I come" means as follows.

  1. Holding fast the five superiorities God has given us to enter the building of the perfect body of Christ.
    Revelation 2:18-19
2:18 "And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:
2:19 "I know your works, (1)love, (2)service, (3)faith, and your (4)patience; and as for your (5)works, the last are more than the first. “

  2. Holding fast the true teaching Word God has given to us, namely Bride Tidings in the light of Tabernacle.
    Revelation 2:20,24
2:20 "Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
2:24 "Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden.

The Bride Tidings is against the doctrine of Jezebel.
The doctrine of Jezebel teaches that a woman may become the head of man. Consequently, the serpent becomes the head in the service to God and marriage. The Bride Tidings teaches that a man is the head of the woman, so Jesus becomes the Head in the service to God and marriage.
The depths of Satan cause the spirit of Satan to enter. The Tabernacle Teachings teaches about the kingdom of heaven or God and His house, so His spirit will rule over us.

Revelation 2:26-29
2:26 "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations––
2:27 ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’ –– as I also have received from My Father;
2:28 "and I will give him the morning star.
2:29 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."‘

Holding fast the five superiorities and the true teaching Word God has given to us, we will have victory with Him to do His work until the end, namely we pass away or Jesus comes a second time. Being victorious also means that we can fully surrender to God until forever.

God’s promises to the church in Thyatira or all of us who overcome are as follows.

  1. Ruling the nations with a rod of iron.
  2. The morning star.

ad.1. Ruling the nations with a rod of iron
.
It means that we can sit on the throne of judgment with God to judge the world.

1 Corinthians 6:2
6:2Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Matthew 19:27-28
19:27Then Peter answered and said to Him, "See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?"
19:28 So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

The requirements to sit on the throne of judgment are as follows.

  1. Willingly sacrificing all things for following and ministering to God. It means that the flesh is cut.
All things must be sacrificed to follow and minister to God such as time, energy, money, family, thought, feelings, and so on. Only one must not be sacrificed, namely the true teaching Word because it is Jesus Himself. We must not be bound by anything in the world.

  2. We must experience the renewal from carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus. It means that the flesh is burnt to produce sweet-smelling aroma.

What must be renewed?

  1. Related to the justice.
A judge must be just so that he can sit on the throne of judgment.

The facts found in the renewal related to the justice are as follows.

    • Not looking for justice towards others, not pleading our selves, not seeking for any problems.
      1 Corinthians 6:7
6:7 Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated?

We can submit all problems to God until we are peaceful in our heart.

    • Not doing unrighteous or unjust things to others or not giving disadvantage to them.
      1 Corinthians 6:8-10
6:8 No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren!
6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Unrighteous or unjust person will not enter the kingdom of heaven, but be judged and condemned by God.

  2. Related to the judgment as follows.

    • Not judging others.
      Romans 2:1
2:1 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

One who judges others has the same sin.

      Matthew 7:1
7:1 "Judge not, that you be not judged.

      Such person will be judged.

Keeping on judging others, there will be no opportunity to judge our life, but everlasting perdition.

      Matthew 7:6
7:6 "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

The holy things and pearl refer to the true teaching Word. Only one thing can be judged, namely the matter of the true teaching Word. It means that we must be selective.
Do not give the true teaching Word to the dog and swine or the people who do not change. Why? Because it will cause disputing and quarrel, not the faith.

We must also be selective in hearing. Do not receive the teachings from the dogs, namely false prophets, and gossip.
      Philippians 3:1b-2
3:1b For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.
3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation!

Such things will also cause the divisions, offenses, and temptations.
      Romans 16:17
16:17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.

Eve dared to hear the voice of the serpent. It means that she dared to be driven out of Eden. Likewise, hearing the false teachings means being ready to lose the atmosphere of paradise and go to the curse. The right attitude is avoiding it.

      Philippians 3:1b
3:1b For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.

Therefore, we must hear the repetitive true teaching Word to give the assurance of faith to us. We will not be deceived and preyed by the dogs. We do not fall in the repetitive sin like dog and swine.

    • Judging our own life.
      1 Peter 4:17
4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

The facts found in it are as follows.

      1. Judging our own life by the Word spoken by Jesus or the revelation of God’s Word through a verse that explains other verses or the Word sharper than any two-edged sword.
        John 12:47-48
12:47 "And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
12:48 "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him––
the word that I have spoken will judgehim in the last day.

        Hebrews 4:12
4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two–edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

It sanctifies our whole life, starting from our heart and mind.

        Mark 7:21-23
7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries(1), fornications(2), murders(3),
        7:22 thefts(4), covetousness(5), wickedness(6), deceit(7), lewdness(8), an evil eye(9), blasphemy(10), pride(11), foolishness(12).
7:23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

The evil and unclean heart and mind are filled with twelve evil and unclean desires. Being sanctified, they will be filled with twelve loaves that are set in two rows, six in a row (6 6), namely the true teaching Word.

One who judges himself is like Mary.

        Luke 10:39,42
10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.
10:42 "But one thing is needed, and
Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."

She sat at Jesus’ feet and kept on hearing His Word. She prioritized the true teaching Word more than anything. The results are as follows.

        • Mary has chosen the good part, namely God makes all things good and the best in our life.
        • which will not be taken away from her“ means that the Lord is able to preserve us abundantly up to the eternal life.

      2. Judging our life through the Holy Communion.
        1 Corinthians 11:28
11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

        Matthew 26:20-25
26:20 When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve.
26:21 Now as they were eating, He said, "Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me."
26:22 And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, "Lord, is it I?"
26:23 He answered and said, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.
26:24 "The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."
26:25 Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it."

The fact found in it is honesty. We say "yes" if "yes" and "no" is "no". We are also honest in confessing the sin, especially the sin of Judas Iscariot as follows.

        • Stealing the possession of God and others.
        • Betraying Jesus.
        • Pretense, hypocrisy, and covering sins by pretending to do good things.
        • Liar.
        • Accuser.

We can judge ourselves doubly through Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We can have a victory and honesty. How great a man physically and spiritually in the world is, his birth in the world is useless if he keeps the sin or does not confess it honestly.

        John 13:26-27
13:26 Jesus answered, "It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it." And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
13:27 Now after the piece of bread,
Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, "What you do, do quickly."

Judas Iscariot kept the sin when there were the true teaching Word and Holy Communion. Consequently, he was demon-possessed, became the same as the devil, and perished forever.

John leaned on Jesus’ bosom when receiving the true teaching Word and Holy Communion.
        John 13:23
13:23 Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.

        John 21:20
21:20 Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?"

As a result, the Lord determines all things in our life. Our life and death are in the hand of God.

        John 21:21-22
21:21 Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?"
21:22 Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me."
      3. Judging our life through the sprinkling of blood or the flesh suffering with Jesus.
        Psalm 26:2-3
26:2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart.
26:3 For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.

The sprinkling of blood may happen when we must suffer because of doing the service and ministry to God, fasting, praying all night-long, being blamed and hated although we are not wrong, and so on.
The sprinkling of blood is the last sanctification for the church so that we are sanctified from the hidden sins we do not realize and false teachings. This is the sanctification up to our heart and inmost part of our life (kidney).

        Revelation 2:23
2:23 "I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

The sin that is not realized is the self-truth, namely the truth that is not in line with the Bible or covering the sin by blaming others and God.

Being sanctified from the self-truth and false teachings, our eyes will only look at the Lord. We only worship and hope in His lovingkindness.

        Psalm 16:8
16:8 I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.

As a result, we are never moved, but strong and of good courage. It means as follows.

        • We keep on holding fast the true teaching Word and obeying it, regardless of any risk we have to take.
        • We keep on living in righteousness, regardless of any risk we have to take.
        • We are not disappointed and hopeless. We do not leave God in facing all things. We keep faithful and fervent in spirit in doing the service and ministry to God.

        • We keep on worshiping God, believing, and hoping in His lovingkindness.

        The results are as follows.

        • The Lord protects and preserves us with the covering of the wing of His marvelous lovingkindness from now on in the midst of difficulties in the world up to the days when the antichrist reigns over the world.
          Psalm 17:7-8

17:7 Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.
17:8 Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,

        • The lovingkindness of God makes all things beautiful, successful, and finished in His time.
          Genesis 39:21-23
39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
39:22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing.
39:23 The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph's authority, because the LORD was with him; and whatever he did, the LORD made it prosper.

The prison refers to limited condition without any hope. Nevertheless, the lovingkindness of God is able to make all things beautiful, and successful in His time. Joseph was taken outside the prison. He got the high position. The lovingkindness of God is able to finish all problems in time of need physically and spiritually. The lovingkindness of God is able to sanctify and change us until we are as perfect as He is and worthy to welcome His second coming.

God blesses you.
