Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 1:17-18
1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
1:18 I amHe who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

John the Apostle fell at Jesus’ feet, meaning worshiping with a contrite heart and worshiping until the flesh does not sound anymore. As a result, Jesus laid His right hand on him, and he experienced three things as follows.

  1. “Do not be afraid”, meaning the renewal of the feeling so there is no more fear but only confidence toward God.
  2. “I am the First and the Last”, meaning receiving the love of God that increases from the first love to the perfect one.
  3. “I am He who was dead and lives”, meaning experiencing the victory power over death. It equals to receiving the key of the Kingdom of Heaven.

ad. 3. I am He who was dead and lives.
Matthew 16:18-19
16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
16:19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Jesus was dead and lives to win over the death, so He holds the keys of Hades and of Death to close those doors for us. Thus, we are not destroyed but win over the death together with Jesus. Moreover, we receive the key of the Kingdom of Heaven to enter it and obtain eternal life.

Acts 14:22
14:22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting themto continue in the faith, and saying,“We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

The key of the Kingdom of Heaven is flesh suffering with Jesus. It equals to the cross or the sprinkling of blood.

1 Peter 4:12-14
4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you,for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

Why must we experience the sprinkling of blood? It is so that we receive the Spirit of glory.
Thus, the key of the Kingdom of Heaven equals to the cross or the Spirit of glory.

Why do we need the Spirit of glory?
Because no matter how great a man in this world is, he is only a flesh and blood man. He is made from clay or wood. His life is only according to the lust and desire of the flesh, so it goes to perdition forever.

The practices of being a flesh man without the Holy Spirit are as follows.

  1. Fleshly heart, meaning every intent of the thoughts of the heart is only evil and unclean continually. Thus, it produces evil and unclean deeds that make God grieve, also the pastor and parents.
    Genesis 6:5-7
6:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man wasgreat in the earth, and thatevery intent of the thoughts of his heart wasonly evil continually.
    6:
6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
    6:
7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”

    1 Timothy 6:7-10
6:7 For we brought nothing into thisworld, and it iscertain we can carry nothing out.
    6:
8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
    6:
9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and intomany foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
    6:
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds ofevil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Evil deeds are started from the root of evil inside the heart, that is the love of money. Thus, there is no faith, hope, and love inside the heart. There is no Jesus inside the heart. The consequence is evil deed, that is looking for money in illegal way, being stingy or unwilling to give for the work of God and the others who are in need, and being greedy or seizing the rights of the others and God (the tithe and special offering).

Unclean deeds are sins concerning eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, consuming drugs) and marrying-being given in marriage (sexuality sin with all its variety).

Because men did evil and unclean deeds, God condemned and destroyed them with floodwaters during the days of Noah, and with fire and brimstone from the heaven during the days of Lot. In the last days, God will condemn with fire from the heaven, together with fire and brimstone in the hell forever.

  2. Fleshly sight and desire.
    Genesis 6:1-2
6:1 Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them,
    6:
2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they werebeautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.

It means not having spiritual consideration or sacrificing the spiritual matters.
The fleshly sight and desire especially happen in two matters as follows.

    • Marriage.
Fleshly sight and desire cause mix marriage, marrying-divorcing, until marrying-being given in marriage. These are the false marriage that leads to Babylon who will be destroyed.

    • Ministry.
In a ministry, we must look for spiritual food. Fleshly sight and desire like to mix the true teaching Word with knowledge, joke, even with false teaching, so it becomes a poison that kills the spiritual life.
The manner of ministry is also mixed with the one from the world. The difference between the ambience of the world with the one of the Heaven is holiness and anointing of Holy Spirit. In the ambience of the Heaven, there is Heavenly joy that is marked with orderliness and regularity. The ambience of the world is marked with sins, disorderliness, and irregularity.

  3. Fleshly mouth.
    2 Peter 3:3-6
3:3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,
    3:
4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they werefrom the beginning of creation.”
    3:
5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,
    3:
6 by which the world thatthen existed perished, being flooded with water.

    It means as follows.

    • Only scoffing the Word of God, especially about His second coming and about His judgment over the world. They also scoff the sanctification Word that is sharper than any two-edge sword, or being unwilling to be sanctified.

    • Only causing division in the body of Christ through lies.
      Jude 1:17-19
1:17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:
      1:
18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.
      1:
19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 15:50
15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.

Men with fleshly heart, sight and desire, and mouth, cannot inherit the kingdom of God. It equals to not having the key of the kingdom of God.

Therefore, we must absolutely be filled or anointed with Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3:15-16
3:15 But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be sonow, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.
3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.

The process is we must be baptized as Jesus is.

  1. It is according to the will of God, as written in the Bible.
One must not be forbidden or ordered to enter water baptism. It must be done because of encouragement from the Word.

  2. One who has repented must be buried together with Jesus in water, so he will raise with Him to experience the opening of the heaven. We receive new life or Heavenly life, that is being anointed and filled up with Holy Spirit, so we become like a dove.
    Romans 6:2,4
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

The results are as follows.

  1. Having the heart of dove or the heart of Heavenly bride, that is the heart filled up and controlled by Holy Spirit, so we are sincere, honest, and righteous.
    Romans 8:13
8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Holy Spirit put to death the evil and unclean deeds, so we can live in righteousness and holiness, up to eternal life forever.

  2. Having the sight of dove.
    Song of Solomon 4:1
4:1 Behold, you arefair, my love!
Behold, you arefair!
You havedove’s eyes behind your veil.
Your hair islike a flock of goats,
Going down from Mount Gilead.

Holy Spirit controls our sight and desire so we only see Jesus and spiritual matters.
Holy Spirit gives spiritual consideration and thought, so everything is according to the Word. We can sacrifice physical matters to get the spiritual ones.

    Job 32:8
32:8 But there isa spirit in man,
And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.

The peak of spiritual sight is until we can see Jesus on the glorious clouds on His second coming.

  3. Having the voice of dove.
    Song of Solomon 2:14
2:14 “O my dove, in the clefts of the rock,
In the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice issweet,
And your face islovely.”

It means our words are controlled by Holy Spirit. Mock, lie, and slander are changed to the voice of dove, that is the voice of worship. There are two types of the voice of dove as follows.

    • Sweet voice, meaning worship in resurrection ambience with a grateful heart.
    • Groaning voice, meaning worship in death ambience with a contrite heart.
      Nahum 2:7
      2:7 It is decreed:
She shall be led away captive, She shall be brought up;
And her maidservants shall lead heras with the voice of doves,
Beating their breasts.

The voice of worship is as the strain of a new song.

    Revelation 14:2-3
14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.
    14:
3 They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred andforty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.

    Revelation 19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
    19:
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”

We worship Him as the King of kings and Heavenly Bridegroom with the saying “Alleluia!”.

    Isaiah 43:15-16
43:15 I amthe Lord, your Holy One,
The Creator of Israel, your King.”
43:16 Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea
And a path through the mighty waters,

Thus Jesus as the King is able to make a way in the sea, meaning solving all our problems even the impossible one and give a way out. He also gives us the beautiful and successful future. On His second time, the heaven will be opened and we will be renewed to become as perfect and glorious as Him. We will see Him face to face and be with Him forever.

God blesses us.
