Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3:7

3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":

Jesus appears as He who has the key of David for the church in Philadelphia to do three great things as follows.

  1. Opening the door that cannot be shut by anyone [Revelation 3:8].
  2. Giving victory over the synagogue of Satan [Revelation 3:9].
  3. Keeping us from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world [Revelation 3:10]

We are learning the second one.
Revelation 3:9
3:9 "Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie––indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

The synagogue of Satan says that they are Jews and are not. They refer to the liarsas follows.

  1. The liar means someone who confesses that he knows Jesus, but disobeys the Word.
    1 John 2:4
2:4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

It means there is no teaching Word and one does not experience the redemption or deliverance from sin. In such condition, there is no moon under the feet.

  2. Denying Jesus as the Christ or One that is anointed.
    1 John 2:22
2:22 Who is a liarbut he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

It means there is no anointing of Holy Spirit or the stars.

    Titus 1:16

1:16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

One denies Jesus through the evil and unclean deeds and words.

  3. Hating others, even with hatred without a cause.
    1 John 4:20
4:20If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

It means there is no love or sun.

Thus, the synagogue of Satan is the liars or the sons or servants of God who do not have the sun (love), moon (the Word), and the stars (Holy Spirit). The consequences are as follows.

  1. Living in the darkness of sinup to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, and marrying-being given in marriage or sexuality sin with all of its kinds and the wrong marriage. Consequently, one cannot become the bride of God.
    Revelation 12:1
12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.

The woman refers to the fleshly human. She puts on the sun, moon, and stars, so she can live in the light. There is no darkness at all and she can be the perfect bride of God.
Not putting on the sun, moon, and stars, one will be in darkness and nakedness. Such person puts on the physical things only until becomes the bride of Babylon that is perfect in the evil and uncleanness. She will be destroyed forever.

    Revelation 17:4-5

17:4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
17:5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

    Romans 13:12-14
13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
13:13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
    13:14 But
put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

We must put on the Lord Jesus Christ or the sun, moon, and stars as the armor of light when Jesus will come a second time.
It can happen in the shepherding pen or the Holy Place, through the perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.

    • Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service to have fellowship with Holy Spirit God and the gifts. It results in the light of the stars.

    • Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion to have fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ. We get the redemption until there is the light of the moon under the feet.

    • Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Worship Prayer Service to have fellowship with Father God in the love until there is the light of the sun.

    Romans 13:13
13:13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.

The sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, as well as marrying-being given in marriage, envy, and strife must be covered.

The proof that we have put on the light of the sun, moon, and stars is our honest heart. We can shine in our marriage or household, so we are not ruled over by the darkness of basket and bed. Moreover, we can shine before all people and become the light of the world.

  2. Envying and hating without a cause, even being like a wild beast.
    Genesis 37:9-11
37:9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, "Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me."
37:10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, "What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?"
    37:11 And
his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

    Genesis 37:31, 33

37:31 So they took Joseph's tunic, killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the tunic in the blood.
37:33 And he recognized it and said, "It is my son's tunic.
A wild beasthas devoured him. Without doubt Joseph is torn to pieces."

The meanings of the wild beast are as follows.

    • The servant of God that joins for a fellowship without Jacob or Holy Spirit and Joseph or Bride Tidings.
      Genesis 37:12, 18
37:12 Then his brothers went to feed their father's flock in Shechem.
37:18 Now when they saw him afar off, even before he came near them, they
      conspired againsthim to kill him.

It means there is no anointing of Holy Spirit, but rejection to the true teaching Word. Such people are in envy, hatred, and conspiracy to resist the right ones. Such conspiracy will be greater and work well to resist the small one.

    • The servants of God that has a wild mouth, namely lie, gossip, slander, and blasphemy like the one of the antichrist.
      James 3:7-8
3:7For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind.
3:8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

      Revelation 13:5-6
13:5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty–two months.
13:6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

    • The servants of God that persecutes and kills the other servants of God. He becomes the same as the antichrist.

    Genesis 37:31
37:31 So they took Joseph's tunic, killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the tunic in the blood.

For facing the beast, we must experience the sprinkling of blood or the suffering in the flesh with Jesus. The tunic must be dipped in the blood so that it will not be torn by the wild beast, but become the fine linen, clean and bright.

    Revelation 19:8

19:8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Being clean and bright means that the honest heart produces good and right deeds until we can repay good for evil as well as good and right words until we can testify.

  3. Facing the windstorm that wants to destroy the boat of our life.
    Acts 27:20
27:20 Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.

    The windstorm means as follows.

    • Unsolvable problems or temptations that cause distress, weariness, and hopelessness until there is no peace, even no future life.
    • The wind of false teaching and gossip that cause the doubt until one leaves the true teaching Word and departs the faith.

Nevertheless, God wants to help through these two ways.

    • The preaching of the true teaching Word that is revealed by God to point at the sins, rebuke, and advise.
      Acts 27:21-22
27:21 But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the midst of them and said, "Men, you should have listened to me, and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss.
27:22 "And now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.

      2 Timothy 4:2

4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

The Word is preached repetitively to give us assurance in faith so that we are not tossed to and fro by the strange voice, namely the false teaching or advice that seems good or logical, but is not in line with the Word.

      Acts 27:10-11

27:10 saying, "Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives."
27:11 Nevertheless the centurion was more persuaded by the helmsman and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul.

The strange voice also refers to the fleshly voice that chooses the comfortable thing for the flesh although it is not in line with the Word.

      Acts 27:12

27:12 And because the harbor was not suitable to winter in, the majority advised to set sail from there also, if by any means they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete opening toward the southwest and northwest, and winter there.

The Word is preached repetitively to give opportunity that we can be helped.

    • The Holy Communion.
      Acts 27:33-36
27:33 And as day was about to dawn, Paul implored them all to take food, saying, "Today is the fourteenth dayyou have waited and continued without food, and eaten nothing.
27:34 "Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you."
27:35 And when he had said these things, he took bread and gave thanks to God in the presence of them all; and when he had broken it he began to eat.
27:36 Then they were all encouraged, and also took food themselves.

      Exodus 12:5-6, 8

12:5 'Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats.
12:6 'Now you shall keep it until
the fourteenth dayof the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight.
12:8 'Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

The teaching Word and Holy Communion make us realize and confess our sin to God, believe and entrust our life fully to Him, and worship Him. It means that we stretch out our hands to God and He will stretch out His hand to help us and perform the miracle spiritually.
    Acts 27:37
27:37 And in all we were two hundred and seventy–six persons on the ship.

The number of six refers to the renewal from six outer sins and six inner ones as follows.
    Colossians 3:5-9
3:5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication(1), uncleanness(2), passion(3), evil desire(4), and covetousness(5), which is idolatry(6).
3:6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,
3:7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

3:8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger(1), wrath(2), malice(3), blasphemy(4), filthy language(5) out of your mouth.
3:9 Do not lie(6) to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,

The number of seven refers to the seven characteristics of the new man.
    Colossians 3:10, 12-14
3:10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,
    3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies(1), kindness(2), humility(3), meekness(4), longsuffering(5);
3:13 bearing with one another, and forgiving(6) one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
    3:14 But above all these things put on love(7), which is the bond of perfection. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
3:13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
3:14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

The number of two refers to the unity between a husband and his wife.
    Colossians 3:18-19
3:18 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
3:19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.

The unity between children and parents.
    Colossians 3:20-21
3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
3:21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

The unity between servants and master.
    Colossians 3:22
3:22 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men–pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

If the two can become one, they will be the house of prayer.
    Matthew 18:19
18:19 "Again I say to you that if two of you agreeon earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

The physical miracles will also happen that a hair in the midst of storm can be helped. God preserves us in the midst of impossibilities, solves all problems, even the impossible ones, gives us beautiful future life, and perfects us.

    Acts 27:34

27:34 "Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you."

God blesses you.
