From the Prayer Service in Palangkaraya.

1 Timothy 2:1-2
2:1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanksbe made for all men,
2:2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

There are four levels of prayer as follows:

  1. Supplication prayer.
The center is our own needs.
    John 15:7
15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

The requirement of the supplication prayer's being answered by God is that the Word abides in our heart and becomes faith in our life. The will of God is in our life. Therefore, we must hear, understand, believe, and obey the Word.

If our prayer is in line with the will of God, He will answer. On the contrary, He will not answer the prayer which is not in line with His will because answering such prayer will harm our life.

Nevertheless, do not be satisfied only by the supplication prayer, or else you are only like Bartimaeus, a beggar. The supplication prayer must be increased.

  2. Intercession prayer.
The center is the need of others. We also pray for the government so that we can serve and minister to God peacefully.

Nevertheless, the intercession prayer still needs to be increased.

  3. Thanksgiving prayer.
The center is the blessings we have received from God.
We can give thanks to God when He blesses us.

Such prayer also needs to be increased.

  4. Worship prayer.
    1 Timothy 2:8
    2:8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;

It is lifted up with holy hands and heart.

    Psalm 141:2
141:2 Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

The center is God Himself. It means that we can pray anytime, anywhere, and in any circumstances.

    John 4:23-24
4:23 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must
    worship in spirit and truth."

The requirement of the true worship prayer than can please God is being encouraged by the truth and spirit.
The truth refers to the true teaching Word.
The spirit refers to Holy Spirit.
Thus, the true worship prayer is encouraged by the true teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit or the true teaching Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword that sanctifies our whole life.

    Matthew 15:19
15:19 "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

It begins from our heartthat must be sanctified from seven evil, unclean, and bitter lusts. Then, the lamp will keep on burning. Our heart is bright and we keep on believing, hoping, and loving Jesus. Then, our eyeswill be bright to look at Jesus only.

Our sinful deedsare also sanctified up to the peak of sin, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marring-being given in marriage. As a result, we can do the true, holy, and good deeds. It is the same as stretching out our hands to other people to become blessings for them. We also stretch out our hands to God to fully surrender to Him.

Then, our idle wordsare sanctified, so we can say the true, holy, and good words to be blessings for others. We can cry out the name of Jesus.

Thus, the true worship prayer refers to the heart that believes, fully hopes to God, and loves Him whatever we must face. Our eyes only look at Him and our mouth only cries out to Him. Our hands are lifted up to Him.

We only surrender and cry out to God and He will stretch out His merciful hands to us.

    The results are as follows:

    • Mark 6:34-37
6:34 And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things.
6:35 When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, "This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late.
6:36 "Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat."
6:37 But He answered and said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said to Him, "Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?"

The Lord stretches out His merciful hands to preserve our life miraculouslyin the midst of difficulties in the world until the antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
Physically, we are preserved abundantly in the midst of crises in the world. We can always give thanks to God.
Spiritually, He preserves our life until we have the serenity and peace. All things become easy and light.

    • Mark 1:40-41
1:40 Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You can make me clean."
1:41 Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."

The Lord stretches out His merciful hands with the power of healingto cure the physical leprosy or the impossible disease.
Spiritually, we are sanctified from sins up to the peak, even the self-truth. As a result, we can be one in the marriage or household as if we have the sweet wine until we can be in the oneness of the perfect body of Christ.

    • Luke 7:12-13
7:12 And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her.
7:13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."

The Lord stretches out His merciful hands with the power of resurrectionto remove all impossibilities and renew our life from the old men to the new ones. Every step of our life is in miracle until we can welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds and worship God day and night on the heavenly throne forever.

God blesses you.
