Matthew 26:36-46 is about GETHSEMANE.
Gethsemane is a press.
In Gethsemane, Jesus experienced the pressing or suffering in the flesh without any sin. It is called the sprinkling of blood.
In the last days, the Church of God must also experience the press for the flesh, that is to say suffering or persecution because of doing service and ministry, being slandered, many difficulties and injustice in the world, et cetera in the time before antichrist reigns over the world and at the time antichrist reigns over it.
All of them cannot be defeated by anything in the world. The ambience of Gethsemane only can be faced with watching and praying.
Matthew 26:36, 40, 43, 45-46
26:36.Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, "Sit here while I go and pray over there."
26:40 Then He came to the disciples and found them asleep, and said to Peter, "What? Could you not watch with Me one hour?
26:43 And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy.
26:45 Then He came to His disciples and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.
26:46 "Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand."
Jesus brought His disciples to watch and pray for one hour to make them not sleep spiritually.
The meaning of spiritual sleep is as follows:
26:40 Then He came to the disciples and found them asleep, and said to Peter, "What? Could you not watch with Me one hour?
26:43 And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy.
26:45 Then He came to His disciples and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.
There are three times of the disciples' being asleep, referring to the condition of the Church of God in the spiritual sleep as follows:
Matthew 26:45-46
26:45 Then He came to His disciples and said to them, "Are you still sleepingand resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.
26:46 "Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand."
Jesus let His disciples sleep, but when the enemy came He made them rise.
Meaning the Lord admits the weakness of carnal men, but they must always watch and pray to be in SPIRITUAL REVIVAL.
The meaning of spiritual revival is as follows:
Maybe now we feel so hard in our life, even other people despise us, but someday we will really give thanks to God.
Afterward, the abundant spiritual revival in the shepherding must be flown to the other sheepfolds, so we can be together in the building of Christ's perfect body.
If we are egoistic, we only heap the blessings of God for our own selves and someday they will burst.
The practice of being in spiritual revival is as follows:

- BEING FOOL and UNWISE SPIRITUALLY= not understanding and not being willing to understand what the will of the Lord is = being without the true teaching Word.
Ephesians 5:14-17
5:14 Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light."
5:15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
5:16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
5:17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.- Titus 3:10
3:10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition,
3:11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.
Being fool or a divisive means one is unwilling even cannot be advised or rebuked by the true teaching Word in all matters.
The consequence of rejecting the true teaching Word is sinning and going astray for sure, being outside the body of Christ, and perishing forever. - Matthew 7:26-27
7:26 "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
7:27 "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."
Being unwise means one is willing to hear the true teaching Word, even exalting the Word, but not practicing it.
Consequently, one cannot endure facing sin (heavy rain or the attack of evil and unclean spirit in heaven), false teachings (wind or the attack of false prophets), and temptations (flood, the attack of antichrist), until he departs from the faith, being without foundation and great is the fall.
One who cannot endure will have great destruction in his private life, marriage, even the faith.
- Titus 3:10
- BEING DRUNK SPIRITUALLY = being without the anointing of Holy Spirit = living in the lusts of flesh as follows:
Ephesians 5:18
5:18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,- Doing the works of flesh.
Galatians 5:19-21
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. - Only magnifying flesh matters or physical matters in the world until there is no need of the Word of God.
It is like a drunkard, who feels so great in his own opinion while the spirituality falls so deep. For example, the church of Laodiceans.
Revelation 3:15-17
3:15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
3:16 "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
3:17 "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--
Consequently, one becomes spiritually lukewarm, serves and ministers only for doing duty without being faithful and fervent in spirit anymore. Moreover, God and spiritual matters no longer become priority in life.
Afterward, God vomits him, he becomes unclean and nauseating even perishes forever.
- Doing the works of flesh.
- SPIRITUAL LAMENESS= being without the love of God.
John 5:5-8
5:5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.
5:6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?"
5:7 The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me."
5:8 Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk."
Jesus came with the statement of His love, "Do you want to be made well?"
The meaning of spiritual lameness is as follows:- Being inactive, or unfaithful in doing service and ministry to the Lord.
- Hoping in other people such as husband, wife, children, parents, friends, or worldly matters such as diploma, deposit, et cetera.
- The term "bed" refers to the peak of sin in the last days, namely sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
He never experienced the shaking of the water of the pool while other people have been helped.
Be alert!
The last can be the first, and the first can be the last. - Being inactive, or unfaithful in doing service and ministry to the Lord.

- We understand the will of God until we can practice the true teaching Word, so it becomes our flesh and blood.

5:16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
5:17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Maybe we have little experience with the Word, let us hold it fast.
The Lord must help us until all of the Word becomes flesh and blood in our life.
We must be patient in doing Bible Study Service and Holy Communion (referring to the Table of Showbread)to make the true teaching Word become flesh and blood in our life.
The sign of being spiritually mature is we can appreciate the Word of God more than anything.
For example, Abraham.
In the beginning, he was not spiritually mature so he opened a chance to the thing that was not in line with the Word of God, namely receiving Hagar as his wife.
Nevertheless, after being spiritually mature he did not doubt to receive and obey the true Word whatever risk he had to face. - Being filled with the spirit = living in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 5:18
5:18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,
Olive fruits were pressed in Gethsemane to produce olive oil, so the lamp can burn continually.
We must be patient in doing General Service (referring to Golden Candlestick)so the anointing oil of Holy Spirit is always filled in our life and we are always faithful and fervent in spirit doing our service and ministry.
Do not be neglectful! If the Lord gives us ministry, we will be equipped by ability to perform it for sure. - We always give thanks until the peak in our worship to God.We can persevere in doing Prayer Service (referring to Golden Altar of Incense).
Ephesians 5:19-20
5:19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,
5:20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

5:21. submitting to one another in the fear of God.
SUBMITTING TO ONE ANOTHER as follows:- Prioritizing other people more than ourselves. We can prioritize the ones who are worthy of it (like a wife to her husband, an inferior to the superior, et cetera), and moreover we can prioritize the weak ones.
- We dare to receive the facts in our life.
- We dare to confess our sin to God and other people, not repeating the sin after being forgiven.
- The ability to receive the Word of God, how hard it is.
- The ability to forgive the sin of other people and forget it.
- Prioritizing other people more than ourselves. We can prioritize the ones who are worthy of it (like a wife to her husband, an inferior to the superior, et cetera), and moreover we can prioritize the weak ones.
- Proverbs 8:13
8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.
THE FEAR OF THE LORD means as follows:- Hating sin until not lying anymore.
- Being obedient until the flesh does not sound anymore.
11:1. There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
11:3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD,
The peak of the anointing of Holy Spirit is the fear of the Lord.
Be alert! Do not become the stem of wheat, referring to one who does not have desire to serve and minister God anymore or one who is not useful anymore!
The condition of one who is as the stem of wheat is as follows:- Something which has no value anymore, being meaningless and useless.
- There is nothing can be hoped.
- There is no hope physically and spiritually but fall into sin up to the peak of sin.
(The stem of wheat is used to be made bricks for the building of Pithom and Raamses, including Babel). - Something that has already been dead and only for being burnt forever.
- The stem can has root again, meaning Holy Spirit gives us hope to live again physically and spiritually, we can live in righteousness and holiness.
- The stem can produce blossom, meaning we have ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit to minister God.
- The stem can produce fruits, namely life renewal, beginning from hating lie and being HONEST, we can say "Yes" if "Yes" and "No" if "No."
Let us now confess our condition just the way we are before God, whatever risk may come. For example, the Samaritan woman.
The Lord is able to renew us until we become perfect as He is.
- Hating sin until not lying anymore.
