Peace and grace in the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 1:9-20 is the vision of John in Patmos Island.
Revelation 1:9
1:9 I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

John, the apostle, was exiled in Patmos Island. He suffered in the flesh, not because of doing evil, but the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. As a result, he experienced some things as follows.

  1. [verse 9] He could enter the true fellowship with God and others.
  2. [verse 10-16] He could hear and see the loud voice of the trumpet.
    Revelation 1:10-12
1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heardbehind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,
1:11 saying, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last," and, "What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."
    1:12 Then I turned to
see the voicethat spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands,

The loud voice of the trumpet has two manifestations as follows.

    1. Seven golden lampstands or the perfect church.
    2. Jesus in His glory as The King of all kings and The Heavenly Bridegroom.
      Revelation 1:13
1:13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.

Luke 2:20

2:20 Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.

The loud voice of the trumpet that can be heard and seen is the news brought by the angel. It was heard and seen by the shepherds, so it means the Shepherding Word. Thus, the loud voice of the trumpet that can be heard and seen is the Shepherding Word contains the true Teaching Word that is hard and sharp. It is trusted by God to a pastor that he can preach it to the congregation faithfully and repetitively in order, so that it can sanctify and renew the congregation to be as perfect as Jesus is or the Bride of God who is ready to welcome His second coming. It is able to show the congregation as the burning golden lampstand.
If our life, marriage, household, service, and ministry are signified by the suffering in the flesh without any sin, we will also be able to hear and see the loud voice of the trumpet or the Shepherding Word. It means that we can be shepherded well and correctly, so that we can be the burning golden lampstand or the Bride of God.

Exodus 25:31-32

25:31 " You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of one piece.
25:32 "And six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side.

The golden candlestick consists of these parts.

  1. Foot = base.
  2. Shaft = main branch.
  3. Branches.
  4. Burning lamps.

The base
refers to the Court of Tabernacle. If we have true strong base, we will be able to receive the shaft, namely Jesus Himselfas the example of righteousness, holiness, and perfection.

Ephesians 2:19-21

2:19Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
2:20 having been built on
the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,
2:21 in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

There are two kinds of the base of the Church as follows.

  1. The apostles mean the New Testament and the prophets mean the Old Testament. They mean the Bible or the true Teaching Wordthat cannot be added or taken away.
    2 Samuel 22:31-32
22:31 As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
22:32 "For who is God, except the LORD? And who is
    a rock, except our God?

The true Teaching Word is Jesus Himself or the rock that cannot be moved.

  2. A cornerstone that has been rejected. It means Jesus who has been crucified or the sacrifice of Christ.
    1 Peter 2:6-7
2:6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."
2:7 Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, "The stone which the builders rejected Has become
    the chief cornerstone,"

We get the strong base especially in the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.

The facts found in having the strong base are as follows.

  1. Believing or having faith in Jesus through hearing the word of Christ. It means that we enter the gate of Tabernacle.
    Romans 10:17
10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Word of Christ is the Word that is revealed by Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit helps us, so that we hear the true Teaching Word seriously as a need.

  2. Repenting(the Altar of Burnt Offering).
We confess our sin to God and others. After being forgiven, we must not do the sin again, but return to God.

  3. Being baptized of water (the Brazen Laver) and Holy Spirit (the Door of Tabernacle).
    1 John 3:7, 9
3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

Being reborn of water and spirit means that we do not sin anymore, but experience the deliverance from sin and live in righteousness. We are not deceived by false teaching. We keep on holding fast to the true Teaching Word until we cannot sin. We are as righteous as Jesus is.

John 15:1

15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.

As a result, we can be preserved, protected, and pleaded by God in the midst of difficulties in the world.

Branchesrefer to the Holy Place. There are six branches that attach to the shaft. It means the Church that consists of fleshy men must have close relationship with God.

Acts 2:41-42

2:41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
2:42 And
they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

The early rain Church has three kinds of perseverance and so does the latter rain Church with the perseverance in doing three main services to Godin the Holy Place or shepherding pen as follows.

  • Golden Candlestick = perseverance in fellowship = perseverance in doing General Service or fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the anointing and gifts.
  • Table of Showbread = perseverance in the apostles’ doctrine and the breaking of bread = perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion or fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
  • Golden Altar of Incense = perseverance in prayer = perseverance in doing Prayer Service or fellowship with Father God in His love.

We can consume the Shepherding Word in the shepherding pen. As a result, the Shepherding Word encourages us to have a close relationship with God as a branch that attains to the shaft. Our body, soul, and spirit attach to The Trinity of God, so there is no place for Satan to touch.

The Shepherding Word sanctifies our body, soul, and spirit completely.
1 Corinthians 5:11
5:11But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is (1)sexually immoral, or (2)covetous, or (3)an idolater, or (4)a reviler, or (5)a drunkard, or (6)an extortioner––not even to eat with such a person.

The sins that bind the body are sexual immorality or sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage and getting drunk or sins concerning eating-drinking.
The sins that bind the soul are covetousness, reviler, and extortioner.
The sin that binds the spirit is idolatry. An idol is something that hinders us to love God. It includes stinginess and seizing the possession of God, namely tithes and offerings and others.

Colossians 3:5
3:5Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

The six sins that are ingrained in our life bind the body, soul, and spirit and make us separated from God and others.
The Shepherding Word is able to sanctify our body, soul, and spirit from the six sins that are ingrained in our life. As a result, we can produce sweet fruits and experience heavenly joy. We can be as holy as Jesus is.
1 Peter 1:15-16
1:15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
1:16 because it is written, "
Be holy, for I am holy."

The seven lampsthat burn brightly. They refer to the Most Holy Place.
1 John 2:10-11
2:10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.
2:11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

The fact found in living in the light is love to others as we love ourselves. It begins from our marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, and we can love others who make hostility toward us.
We can love our enemies by praying for them. When we can love others even our enemies, it means that we have the love as the sun or the perfect one. It also means that we can love God more than anything.

John 13:23
13:23 Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.

It also means that we lean on the bosom of Jesus or in the embrace of His merciful hand.

Psalm 84:11

84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

The functions of the love as the sun are as follows.

  1. As a shield.
The embrace of God’s merciful hand is able to protect us from the fiery dart of the wicked, namely disaster, temptation, problems, and sins up to the peak.
We are protected from the Antichrist, doomsday, and the hell condemnation. We can feel safe and peaceful, even all things become easy and light.

  2. As the goodness and mercy of God.
The embrace of God’s merciful hand is able to preserve our life in the midst of difficulties and darkness of the world.
The merciful hand of God is also able to help us and solve all problems.
The goodness and mercy of God lift us up from failure and fall, so we can have success and be healed.

  3. As the glory of God.
God’s glory is able to change us from fleshy men into spiritual ones as Jesus is. The life change begins from our face, namely our mouth is honest and our ears are obedient.

    Mark 7:37

7:37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak."

As a result, God is able to make all things good.

    Matthew 5:48

5:48 "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

We are changed to be as perfect as Jesus is when He comes a second time.

God blesses you.
