Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.Revelation 11:311:3. "And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."
'one thousand two hundred and sixty days
'= forty two months or three and a half years.
This is about the two witnesses, namely Moses and Elijah.Revelation 11:611:6. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.
What for does God send Moses and Elijah
- For strengthening His servants or sons who are left on the days when the Antichrist reigns over the world so that they do not worship the Antichrist nor deny Jesus, but keep on worshiping Him although they must be persecuted and beheaded. They become martyr for fulfilling the measurement of God, namely obedience until the flesh does not speak. When Jesus comes a second time, they will be resurrected in the body of glory for welcoming Jesus' second coming.
- For strengthening us now who are facing the shakings in all aspects which cannot be thought and the pre-persecution of the Antichrist/Gethsemane, although the two witnesses have not come yet. So, we are neither disappointed nor hopeless and we do not deny Jesus through the deeds and words which resist against the Word, but we can be the witness of God like Moses and Elijah. We are sanctified continually. We worship God seriously and when the Antichrist comes to rule over the world for three and a half years, we are evacuated to the wilderness, far away from him. We are protected and preserved by God through the teaching Word and the Holy Communion. Afterward, we can welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.
The book of Revelation lasts for seven years, namely three and a half years of the pre-persecution of the Antichrist and another three and a half years of the time when the Antichrist rules over the world.
If now we have been the witness, we will not need the testimony of Moses and Elijah anymore in the time when the Antichrist rules over the world because we have been in the wilderness for welcoming Jesus' second coming.
Why are Moses and Elijah used by God as His witness for facing the worship to the Antichrist? They are used by God because they have the experience in facing the idolatry of the Israelites and they have won.
Moses faces the idolatry to the golden calf or the hardness of heart and lukewarmness.
Tonight, we learn about Elijah.
1 Kings 18:2118:21. And Elijah came to all the people, and said, "How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." But the people answered him not a word.
Elijah faced the Israelites who worshiped Baal.
Baal was the idol of the Canaanites or the Gentiles. God had warned the Israelites to be careful for entering Canaan, namely about the idol.
This is a lesson for us. After being blessed, do not make it as an idol, namely prioritizing the blessings more than God. Let us always prioritize God, regardless of any conditions we have. There are three kinds of Baal as follows
- Baal Ashtoreths. It made the Israelites forsake God.
2:11. Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served the Baals;
2:12 and they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt; and they followed other gods from among the gods of the people who were all around them, and they bowed down to them; and they provoked the LORD to anger.
2:13 They forsook the LORD and served Baal and the Ashtoreths. .
2:13. "For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns--broken cisterns that can hold no water.
Forsaking God means as follows:
- Leaving God, who is the fountain of living waters or the true teaching Word.
The signs of the true teaching Word are as follows:
Why do many servants or sons of God reject ad leave the true teaching Word? They reject and leave the true teaching Word because of keeping the sins or the wrong things.
- Being written in the Bible.
- Being revealed by Holy Spirit through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible.
- Revealing the hidden sins in the congregation.
Thus, the purpose of our service to God is hearing the gospel and teaching Word so that we can be sanctified.
Jesus comes to the world for finishing sins. Thus, we come to Him in the service for finishing sins.
If the sins are finished, the other problems will also be finished for sure.
- Revealing the true marriage (it must be preached from the beginning), ordination, and service to God
- Not looking for the physical profits or interest.
- Being obeyed.
Consequently, they murmur when the Word shows their sins. They do not want to be sanctified.
- 'hewn themselves cisterns--broken cisterns that can hold no water'. It refers to the dry fountains or collecting the false teachers who teach the false teachings or fables that are not based on the verses in the Bible.
2 Peter 2:17
2:17. These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
The consequence is the dry spirituality. There is no sanctification to the sins. As long as there is sin in the marriage, ministry to God, and teaching, there will be no satisfaction until they look for it in the world; even the amenities of the world are brought in the church.
Such Gentiles are the same as the dog and swine.
1 Timothy 4:1-2
4:1. Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
4:2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
'having their own conscience seared with a hot iron' means that every false teaching has its stamp or seal.
Every time one hears it, the conscience is being seared with it.
Eve heard the false teaching or the voice of the serpent only once, but then she lost everything.
Being seared or sealed with the false teachings means that there is no more place for the true teaching Word.
The sign is being lazy and bored or loathing while hearing the true teaching Word. There is no connection with Jesus or the Son of God. It means that there is no image of the Son of God, but the one of the false prophet.
Therefore, let us hope that the anointing of Holy Spirit can give us the firmness to hold fast the true teachings and reject the false ones. Do not ever give any chance for hearing the false teachings! Do not ever lose the image of the Son of God.
- Baal-Zebub. It means the master, the king of flies, or husband.
2 Kings 1:5-6
1:5. And when the messengers returned to him, he said to them, "Why have you come back?"
1:6 So they said to him, "A man came up to meet us, and said to us, 'Go, return to the king who sent you, and say to him, "Thus says the LORD: 'Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending to inquire of Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'"'"
10:1. Dead flies putrefy the perfumer's ointment, And cause it to give off a foul odor; So does a little folly to one respected for wisdom and honor.
The dead fly or Baal-Zebub putrefies the anointing oil. It means that there is no anointing of Holy Spirit. One has no relationship with Holy Spirit God or loses His image. He only has the image of the Antichrist.
The facts found in it are as follows:
Let Holy Spirit put to death the fleshly deeds and egoism in our life. We live in righteousness and holiness in the shepherding.
- Doing the fleshly deeds. One only becomes the man of flesh and blood who is wicked and unclean.
5:19. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
There, let us hope that the anointing of Holy Spirit is able to put to death the deeds of the flesh, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
8:13. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
- Being foolish.
10:1. Dead flies putrefy the perfumer's ointment, And cause it to give off a foul odor; So does a little follyto one respected for wisdom and honor.
10:2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand, But a fool's heart at his left.
It means egoism or being on the left.
Matthew 25: 32-33
25:32. "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
25:33 "And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
It also means not being shepherded. One does not want to enter the sheepfold, but wanders or has no perseverance in doing the three main services to God. He is egoistic.
Such man wanders only to look for the fleshly interest.
Consequently, he denies Jesus like Peter. Peter was great, but he could not endure because of not being shepherded. Nevertheless, he never denied Jesus anymore after being shepherded; even he willingly died for Him.
The sheepfold is the same as the land of Goshen. Let us dwell in the land of Goshen. Do not be negligent although the service to God in the church is stopped by the government because of the pandemic condition.
Let us use the opportunity to serve to God in perseverance. There is the promise of protection in the land of Goshen, so we will never deny Jesus.
- Baal-Peor, namely the idol which made the house of Israel commit adultery physically.
25:1. Now Israel remained in Acacia Grove, and the people began to commit harlotry with the women of Moab.
25:2 They invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods.
25:3 So Israel was joined to Baal of Peor, and the anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel.
25:6 And indeed, one of the children of Israel came and presented to his brethren a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
Verse 6 = This idol really caused the hardness of heart. The others were weeping, but they deliberately brought the sin without feeling guilty. Finally, both of them were pierced by a spear.
Be careful of mix marriage! This is the snare for the youth on the last days as well as the divorce-remarrying and marrying-being given in marriage.
Committing spiritual adultery means the unfaithfulness in the service and ministry to God until leaving them like Judas Iscariot.
James 4: 4
4:4. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
The friendship with the world and loving it cause the unfaithfulness, so there is no love of Father God anymore. It means having no relationship with Father God or losing His image. One only has the image of Satan, the father of liars and murderers, or the hatred without a cause.
The unfaithfulness is the same as the disobedience.
In conclusion, the idolatry to Baal causes the servants of God, especially of the Gentiles, lose the image of the Trinity of God and appear in the one of the trinity of Satan like the swine and dog for being destroyed forever.
Be careful of the idolatry to Baal!Revelation 19:6-719:6. And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
The true worship means worshiping the Trinity of God in Jesus as the King of all kings and the heavenly Bridegroom. We worship with saying "Alleluia". This is the worship of the bride; one body with one voice. Why must we worship by saying "Alleluia"
? We must worship by saying it because the worship in the heavenly kingdom is also by saying "Alleluia".Revelation 19: 1, 3-419:1. After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
19:3 Again they said, "Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!"
19:4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!"
"Alleluia" is written three times. It refers to the worship to the Trinity of God in Jesus Himself as the true King.
Thus, the service to God in the world must also be the same as the one in heaven. The requirements of worshiping Jesus by saying "Alleluia" are as follows
- Holding fast and obeying the true teaching.
105:45. That they might observe His statutes And keep His laws. Praise the LORD!
- Putting to death the fleshly deeds.
8:13. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
- Being obedient and faithful until the flesh does not speak or the Veil is torn.
We worship God from now on until someday the Veil is torn and we worship Him on the clouds.
The church in Philadelphian has the small power. Nevertheless, they are obedient and faithful, so they can hold the key of David. Revelation 3:7-83:7. "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":
3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
'have kept My word
'have not denied My name
Although we are small and powerless, we will be able to worship Jesus, the King, if we are obedient and faithful. We lift up our hands to Him and He stretches out His hands with the key of David. They refer to the great merciful hands that open the doors for us. The results are as follows
- The merciful hands of God are able to open the door for pouring out the rain of blessings in the midst of the dry world.
14:17. And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, on them there will be no rain.
14:18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
We must keep on making efforts, but the first thing is the fight against Baal. Hold fast the teaching, put to death the flesh, and be obedient and faithful until we can worship the King.
We receive the abundant physical blessings until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world.
The spiritual blessings or the Word, Holy Spirit, and love give us satisfaction.
We also receive the blessings in our household, namely the joy.
Let us worship God more and open the door of our heart. Let Him open the door of heaven for us.
- The merciful hands of God open the way in the midst of the sea.
43:15. I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King."
43:16 Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters,
It means giving solution from impossible problems. God gives the physical and spiritual life up to the eternal one. He also gives the beautiful successful future life to us and we are used in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
Just surrender all things which cannot be thought to Him.
- The merciful hands of God open the door of Paradise.
23:37. and saying, "If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself."
23:38 And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
23:39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us."
23:40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
23:41 "And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong."
23:42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
23:43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
It means sanctifying and changing us from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus.
We will also experience the physical miracle. We get the atmosphere of Paradise and all things become easy and light.
- It begins from confessing all sins and weaknesses to God and other people. Do not repeat the sin after being forgiven!
- Being obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.
We only confess that all things in our life are because of God's mercy.
Do not be hopeless. Do not be arrogant. Just be obedient. That is the sign that we only need the mercy and goodness of God.
Do not limit the power of God!
The obedience as well as the mercy and goodness of God are also cannot be limited.
It continues until the time when Jesus comes a second time that we changed to be as perfect as He us. We shout for joy "Alleluia" and we truly enter the Paradise.
The Holy Communion is the source of God's love. He is always good for all of us. He will help all of us.
God blesses you.
