Christmas Fellowship in Malang, December 25, 2018 (Tuesday Evening)

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 8:6-13
8:6. So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
8:7. The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
8:8. Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.
8:9. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
8:10. Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
8:11. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.
8:12. Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.
8:13. And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!"

Revelation 8:6-13 is about the first four trumpets, namely the condemnation of the Son of God to the world with the contents as follows.

  1. [Revelation 8:7] A third of the trees are burned up.
  2. [Revelation 8:8] A third of the sea becomes blood.
  3. [Revelation 8:11] A third of the waters become wormwood.
  4. [Revelation 8:12] A third of the sun is struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them are darkened.

Three times seven condemnations of the trinity of God over the world with the contents happen when approaching the second coming of Jesus as the King of kings and the Bridegroom on the glorious clouds as follows.

  1. Seven seals= the condemnation of Holy Spirit God over the world with the contents.
  2. Seven trumpets= the condemnation of the Son of God over the world with the contents.
  3. Seven bowls or plagues= the condemnation of God the Father over the world with the contents.

The world with the contents will experience shocks and ruin in the things as follows:

  • Physical ones, namely economy, health, et cetera.
  • Spiritual ones, namely ministry, sins and the peak, false teaching and ministry, et cetera.
  • The ones of marriage and children.

2 Peter 3:10

3:10. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

The condemnation of the Trinity of God is ended with doomsday. The world and all of the contents will be destroyed by the fire from heaven up to perdition in the lake of fire and brimstone in hell forever.

We must be watchful. One who cannot greet Jesus when He comes a second time will be left behind, so he experiences shocks, destruction, and perdition in hell forever.

The Christmas Theme
2 Peter 3:11
3:11. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

We must be in holy conduct and godliness (ministry), so we can greet Jesus when He comes a second time.

Luke 1:26-27
1:26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
1:27. to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary.

Living in holy conduct and godliness are the same as being as a virgin.
Tonight, we remember and learn from Mary, Jesus' mother who is a virgin. It means living in holy conduct and godliness, so she conceives in her womb and brings forth Jesus. It means that she can accept Jesus' first coming to the world.

If we live in holy conduct and godliness like Mary has done, we can greet Jesus when He comes a second time.

The daily facts found in the holy conduct and godliness like Mary are as follows:

  1. Being like a virgin.
The virgin refers to the holiness of personal life and marriage.

    Psalm 119:9
119:9. BETH. How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.

We are purified by the power of the word of God.

If the servant of God does not want to hear the word, but gets bored in hearing it, his holiness is not guaranteed.

There are two kinds of the preaching of the Word as follows:

    • The gospel of salvation, the gospel word, the milk, or the good news, namely the one that calls the sinners so that they believe in Jesus and are saved.
      Ephesians 1:13
1:13. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

      Proverbs 25:25
25:25. As cold water to a weary soul, So is good news from a far country.

The proofs of being saved are as follows:

      1. Having faith or believing in Jesus as the only Savior by hearing the word.
      2. Repenting= stopping sinning and returning to God. It is the same as being dead to sin.
      3. Water baptism.
        Romans 6:4
6:4. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

        Colossians 2:12
2:12. buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

The true water baptism is one who has died to sin or repented must be buried in the water with Jesus and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life or heavenly one, namely experiencing Holy Spirit baptism.

        Matthew 3:16
3:16. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.

Heavenly life is the life in righteousness, so we are saved and blessed by God.

    • The light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, the word that is sharper than any two-edged sword, or the Bride Tidings.
      2 Corinthians 4:3-4
4:3. But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4. whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

      Hebrews 4:12
4:12. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

      Matthew 25:6
25:6. "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!'

The Bride Tidings chooses the saved and blessed people to be purified up to perfection or we become the heavenly bride who is ready to greet Jesus when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God, the upcoming Paradise or the One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace, and the New Jerusalem forever.

      Revelation 19:9
19:9. Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'"And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."

      Revelation 21:1
21:1. Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

    Where are we purified?
    1 Timothy 5:17
5:17. Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.

God entrusts the gospel word and the teaching one to a shepherd.
So, we are purified in the shepherding. We must be shepherded well and correctly. We are shepherded to the true teaching word like a branch that abides in the true vine.
We must be in the sheepfold or have the perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service as follows:

    • The General Service= the sheep drink.
    • The Bible Study Service and Holy Communion= the sheep eat.
    • The Prayer Service= the sheep breathe.

In the sheepfold, our body, soul, and spirit are purified continuously up to perfection like Jesus.

What must be purified? Starting from heart as the store of sins (Hebrews 4: 12) must be purified from the things as follows.

    • Evil desire, namely the love of money that makes one greedy and stingy.
Being greedy means that one cannot give for the work of God and others who are in need.
Being stingy means that one steals Jesus' and others'.

    • Unclean desire, namely the sins of eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse), and marrying-giving in marriage.
    • Bitterness, namely envy, hatred, up to hatred without a cause.

If our heart is purified, our deed will be purified too.
    Galatians 5:19-21
5:19. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20. idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21. envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of
which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

We also experience the purification of ear or virginity.
    Revelation 14:4
14:4. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

It means that we do not give any chance to hear false teaching.
Eve hears the voice of snake just once and she chooses the false teaching.

    Revelation 17:4-5
17:4. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
17:5. And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

The teaching of Babylon teaches physical prosperity and entertainment, but without purification.

    Revelation 2:20
2:20. "Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

The teaching of Jezebel is the false one that allows woman to teach and have authority over a man.
Actually, Christ is the head of man, and a man is the head of a woman.
If a woman teaches and has authority over a man, she has become the head of man.

    1 Timothy 2:11-14
2:11. Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.
2:12. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.
2:13. For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
2:14. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.

If a wife becomes the head of her husband, the snake will become the head, not Jesus.
We must firmly hold fast the true teaching word and reject the false one whatever risk may come. It means that we keep our virginity

    1 Peter 1:15-16
1:15. but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
1:16. because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."

We are kept purified up to being as holy as Jesus is.

  2. We have to become the servant of God or the priests.
    Luke 1:38
1:38. Then Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.

    Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12. for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

If we are holy, we will be equipped with the ministry and the gift of Holy Spirit, so we are used in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ. We are given the tunic of many colors, so all things become beautiful.

    2 Timothy 1:6
1:6. Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

We have to minister to God faithfully and fervently according to the ministry that God gives to us until the finish line, namely our death or Jesus' second coming.

    Hebrews 1:7
1:7. And of the angels He says: "Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire."

If we minister to God faithfully and fervently, we will become the servant of God who is like the flame of fire.

    Revelation 1:14
    1:14. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;

God's eyes are like a flame of fire.

The servant of God who is holy, faithful, and fervent in spirit is the same as the apple of God's eye, so a grain of sand cannot enter us.

If we become the apple of God's eye, we will be loved by Him. God cares, protects, and defends us.

  3. We must receive God's mercy.
    Luke 1:30
1:30. Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

    1 Peter 2:19
2:19. For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.

Receiving God's mercy means that we willingly suffer in the flesh without any sin for Jesus. It is the same as the cross, the test, or fiery trial.

Mary does not have any husband, but she willingly gets pregnant although it is a disgrace and she must be stoned to death.
Now, it means the fasting prayer, all night-long prayer, being blamed although we are not wrong, being mocked, slandered, scolded, and expelled.

    Matthew 2:11
2:11. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

The wise men worship Jesus as the King by presenting gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
In the sprinkling of blood, we also worship Jesus, the King, so we experience shekinah glory or the renewal of life from fleshly men to spiritual ones as follows:

    • Frankincense produces fragrance. It means believing in God.
    • Myrrh means the blood of Jesus to redeem sins up to honesty.
    • Gold refers to the divine nature or being obedient.

    Matthew 2:12
2:12. Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.

If we are honest, believing, and obedient, God will give us a new way, namely the one without Herod or Satan. It is the same as the one without sin, ruin, tears, and suffering.

    Hebrews 10:19-20
10:19. Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
10:20. by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,

Jesus willingly dies on the cross to give the new way.

    The results are as follows:

    • We learn from Moses when he faced the Red Sea.
      Isaiah 43:15-16
43:15. I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King."
43:16. Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters,

All impossible problems are finished. We have beautiful and successful future. We are used in the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain until we enter the New Jerusalem.

    • A widow of Zarephath is honest and believing, so she is taken care of by God.
God is able to take care of us who are small and powerless in the middle of the difficulties in the world until antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.

    • A criminal who is crucified next to Jesus is honest, believing, and obedient, so he experiences the atmosphere of Paradise until he enters it.
      Luke 23:41-43
23:41. "And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong."
23:42. Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
23:43. And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

If the door of Paradise is opened, we will receive all of the best things from God.
It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to become as perfect as He is. We greet Him when He comes a second time on the glorious clouds.

God blesses us.
