Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are learning Revelation 3: 14-22 about the church of the LAODICEANS. This refers to the church in the last days.

The church of the Laodiceans is in lukewarmness, so they are vomited by God. They are rich physically. They do not lack of anything, but spiritually they are poor, wretched, miserable, blind, and naked. Consequently, they are vomited by God, unclean, useless, disgusting, and destroyed forever.

Revelation 3:18-19
3:18 "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
3:19 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

God rebukes, advises, and chastens the church of the Laodiceans or the one on the last days to buy the heavenly treasure so God does not vomit them. We can please Him.

Revelation 3:20
3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

God is knocking the door of our heart when He rebukes, advises, and chastens us.

Song of Solomon 5:2-3
5:2 THE SHULAMITE I sleep, but my heart is awake; It is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying, "Open for me, my sister, my love, My dove, my perfect one; For my head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night."
5:3 I have taken off my robe; How can I put it on again? I have washed my feet; How can I defile them?

The dove refers to the perfection of the Church or God's Bride.
The dew comes down late at night until morning. It refers to the last days.
The church on the last days sleeps, but the heart is awake. It refers to the lukewarmness. Therefore, God knocks the door of our heart until His head is covered with dew. It means as follows.

  1. The Lord Jesus knocks the door of our heart with the true teaching Word.
    Deuteronomy 32:1-2
32:1 "Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; And hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
    32:2 Let
my teachingdrop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As raindrops on the tender herb, And as showers on the grass.

It is written in the Bible and revealed through a verse which explains other verses in the Bible.
The level is from the dew, the raindrops, up to the showers or the one which is needed by many people.

When does the Lord knock the door of our heart with the true teaching Word? It happens when the Word shows us our sins and condition. We are pointed by the Word.
He knocks the door of our heart that He can help, perfect, and possess us.

  2. The lengthening of God's patience and seriousness of His heart to perfect us.
    2 Chronicles 36:15-16
36:15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.
36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.

Knocking is done repetitively. The shepherding Word is the repetitive teaching Word which is trusted by God to a pastor. It is the seriousness of God's heart and His compassion to help, perfect, and possess us.

The characteristic of the Gentiles is like the dog and swine repeating the sins. Therefore, we need the shepherding Word, which is repeated by a pastor.

Our attitude to the shepherding Word determines whether we can be helped or not.
    Song of Solomon 5:3
5:3 I have taken off my robe; How can I put it on again? I have washed my feet; How can I defile them?

The negative attitude happens when one responses the shepherding Word which points at the sin and condition with the self-truth, so he gets bored, sleepy, and angry with so many excuses; even he blames God and others. The church becomes lukewarm and slow in opening the door of heart.

    Song of Solomon 5:5-6
5:5 I arose to open for my beloved, And my hands dripped with myrrh, My fingers with liquid myrrh, On the handles of the lock.
5:6 I opened for my beloved, But my beloved had turned away and was gone. My heart leaped up when he spoke. I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.

    The consequences are as follows.

    • Being empty and suffering in life. There is no satisfaction because Jesus has gone away and one is separated from the true teaching Word. There is no more opportunity to hear the shepherding Word or be shepherded. One becomes wild and seeks for the pseudo satisfaction in the world until he falls in sin up to the peak.

    • Fainting or neither being alive nor dead. One's life is half dead. Moreover, he will get the spiritual death and everlasting perdition. He cannot be restored anymore.
      2 Chronicles 36:16
36:16But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.

The positive attitude happens when we receive the hard or sharp shepherding Word or we open the door of our heart immediately for God. We can delight in and enjoy consuming the true teaching Word. We can hear it seriously, understand, believe, and obey the Word.

God has been near us when He is knocking the door of our heart. There is only a step between us and Him.

    1 Samuel 20:3
20:3 Then David took an oath again, and said, "Your father certainly knows that I have found favor in your eyes, and he has said, 'Do not let Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved.' But truly, as the LORD lives and as your soul lives, there is but a step between me and death."

As a result, the death has been removed and it has no power anymore. We open the door of our heart to God so that He sanctifies our life.

    Matthew 6:27
6:27 "Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

After we are sanctified from the anxiety, we can use every cubit of our life for the building of the perfect body of Christ. It begins from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the perfect body of Christ.

    Mark 14:3-8
14:3And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head.
14:4 But there were some who were indignant among themselves, and said, "Why was this fragrant oil wasted?
14:5 "For it might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor." And they criticized her sharply.
14:6 But Jesus said, "Let her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for Me.
14:7 "For you have the poor with you always, and whenever you wish you may do them good; but Me you do not have always.
14:8 "She has done what she could. She has come beforehand
    to anoint My bodyfor burial.

The facts found in entering the ministry for building the body of Christ is living in the anointing of Holy Spirit as follows.

    • Opening the door of our heart to experience the redemption which is done by the precious blood of Jesus. We are set free from sin. We become precious before God.
      1 Peter 1:18-19
1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,
1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

      The steps are as follows.

      • Believing in Jesus.
      • Repenting or stopping sinning to return to God.
      • Being baptized of water.
One who has died to sin must be buried in water with Jesus to be raised up from water with Him in the new life, namely righteousness.

      • Being baptized of Holy Spirit.
As a result, we live in righteousness and the anointing of Holy Spirit. We become the precious life.

    • Opening the door of our heart to get the sanctification which is done by the shepherding Word as follows.

      • The heart sanctification from evil desire or the lust of money.
Judas is a thief. He steals the possession of God, namely the tithes and offerings, because there is the lust of money. We must be sanctified from the evil desires, so we will not be the thief of God's possession. We will not steal the possession of others too through not paying the debt and so on. We also do not become the thief of the possession of other people who are in need.

      • The sanctification from the hair, namely the pride, so we can be humble. We feel nothing although we have something. We only rely on God.
The hair also refers to the smoothness, namely deceit and hypocrisy.

      Leviticus 21:12
21:12 'nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.

We are sanctified in the shepherding pen or the Holy Place of Tabernacle. There are three kinds of equipment there which refer to the perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.

      • Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service  to have the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts.
      • Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communionto get the fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.

      • Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Worship Prayer Serviceto get the fellowship with Father God in the love.

      1 Corinthians 6:19-20
6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

The anointing of Holy Spirit is upon our head. It means as follows.

      • We set our mind only to the matter how we glorify God in all aspects of our life such as marriage, job, finance, and so on.
        Isaiah 49:3-4
49:3 "And He said to me, 'You are My servant, O Israel, In whom I will be glorified.'
49:4 Then I said, 'I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and in vain; Yet surely my just reward is with the LORD, And my work with my God.'"

      • We think about Jesus as the first, and the most pleasant and beautiful One in our life. We prioritize the service and ministry more than all things.
        Isaiah 57:15
57:15 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

We worship God with a broken heart. It drags Jesus to come to us from heaven.

        Romans 8:26-28
8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

The flesh is weak, but Holy Spirit helps us worship God with the groaning which cannot be uttered. We feel unworthy and powerless, and rely on the mercy of God only.
As a result, God stretches out His merciful hands to us to make all things good, successful, and beautiful until we are as perfect as He is. We are worthy to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.

God blesses you.
