Matthew26in Tabernacle's structure points tothe golden pot that had the manna, that is the renewal of lifefrom flesh man (clay pot) to become spiritual man as perfect as Jesus (the golden pot).

Matthew26:1-2
26:1. Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, thatHe said to His disciples,
26:2
"You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified."

Matthew26 is also associated with the tidings about the Passover.
In Old Testament, the Passover is marked with the slaughtering of animal for sacrifice.
In New Testament, the Passover is marked with the crucifixion of Jesus as the Lamb of God.

Jesus told about 2 days before the Passover.
2 days = 2000 years (in II Peter3:8, 1 day = 1000 years.)
2000 years before Jesus was crucified points to the era of the Law = ministry in the system of the Law.

John2:13-14, 19-20
2:13 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2:14
And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business.
2:19 Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
2:20
Then the Jews said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?"

The house of the Lord belongs to the Jews was built for 46 years. It means as follows:
  • 4 denotes 4 laws on the first tablet of stone,
  • 6 denotes 6 laws on the second tablet of stone.
It is equal to the ministry in the system of the Law.
(Two tablets of stone received by Moses contained the Law.)

The main sign isonly showing/ prioritizing/ being proud of physical matters, as financial ability, artists, big church building, pastor with title, etc.

The consequence isnot prioritizing the true teaching Word. Although they go to the church many times, they are not purified.
  • Their life is only filled with lies/ trickeries and hatred/killing.
    Matthew26:3-4
26:3 Then the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders of the people assembled at the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
    26:4
and plotted to take Jesus by trickery and kill Him.

  • Trading the animal for sacrifice = trading the sacrifice of Christ.
    John2:14
2:14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business.
There are three usages of the sacrifice of Christ as follows:
  1. The sin offering (oxen, sheep, and doves).
  2. The consecrations (oxen, sheep).
  3. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit offering (doves).
On Thursday (17 February 2011), we have discussed up to the consecrations in the form of oxen and sheep.
This morning, we discussed about the doves.

The doves = the outpouring of the Holy Spirit offering.

Genesis8:8-12
8:8 He also sent out from himself a dove, to see if the waters had receded from the face of the ground.
8:9
But the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot, and she returned into the ark to him, for the waters wereon the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her, and drew her into the ark to himself.
8:10
And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent the dove out from the ark.
8:11
Then the dove came to him in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf wasin her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth.
8:12
So he waited yet another seven days and sent out the dove, which did not return again to him anymore.

Noah sent out a dove three times as follows:
  1. A dove was sent out but she found no resting place for the sole of her foot = the Holy Spirit in the era of God the Father.

    Genesis8:8-9
8:8 He also sent out from himself a dove, to see if the waters had receded from the face of the ground.
    8:9
But the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot, and she returned into the ark to him, for the waters wereon the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her, and drew her into the ark to himself.

    Genesis1:2
1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness wason the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

The Holy Spirit was hovering over the face of the waters = plain heart, that is
    • HONESTheart.
    • OBEDIENTheart.

    The example is Joseph.

    Genesis37:2, 13
37:2 This isthe history of Jacob.Joseph, beingseventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. And the lad waswith the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives; andJoseph brought a bad report of them to his father.
37:13 And Israel said to Joseph, "Are not your brothers feeding the flockin Shechem? Come, I will send you to them." So he said to him, "Here I am."

Joseph has honesty. He did not compromise with sins, whatever the risk (not covering the fault of the others, false is false, and good is good).
Joseph was also obedient whatever the risk (Joseph's brothers has already been against him when he was beside his father, moreover when he was far from his father).

    Genesis37:3
37:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he wasthe son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of manycolors.

The resultis Joseph received the tunic of many colors = the gift from the Holy Spirit and the ministry.

If we have an obedient and honest heart, we will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and the ministry, such that we will be used in the ministry of the building of the perfect body of Christ.

Do not be afraid, because when we receive the tunic of many colors (the beautiful tunic) from God, God will make our life beautiful, He will care us.

But, the tunic still must be dipped in the blood = a test, suffering without any sins.

    Genesis37:31
37:31. So they took Joseph's tunic, killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the tunic in the blood.

    Why?
    • Such that our tunic has the sign of Jesus' blood and cannot be robbed by Satan.
    • Such that our tunic can become the clean and bright Bride's tunic.

      Revelation19:8
19:8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Trading the doves= not being obedient and not being honest.
The consequence islosing the tunic = being naked, that life is not beautiful and will be shamed.

  2. A dove brought an olive leaf = the Holy Spirit in the era of Son of God.

    Genesis8:10-11
8:10 And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent the dove out from the ark.
    8:11
Then the dove came to him in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf wasin her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth.

The olive leaf denotes the olive tree, which can be found in the Mount of Olives.
At the Mount of Olives, Jesus was strugglingto become the reconciliation offering.

Jesus was without any sins, but He had to be crucified (being punished in a very cursed condition). Therefore He was struggling.

    Mark 14:36
14:36 And He said, "Abba, Father, all things arepossible for You.Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will."

Jesus was struggling to submit all the will of the flesh to the Father, such that He can fully receive the will of God and become the reconciliation offering.

Many times we only pray "all things are possible for You", so that we force God to obey our will.
We have to emphasize onthe will of God.
If we force something which is not according to God's will, we will break ourselves.

    Matthew3:16-17
3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
    3:17
And suddenly a voice camefrom heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Jesus is without any sins and actually he has no need to be baptized in water, but He was willing to be baptized to fulfill God's will.

Jesus was willing to be baptized in water means as follows:
    • Jesus gave the pattern of the right water baptism.
    • Jesus gave the pattern of being humble.
If Jesus who is without any sins was willing to be baptized, who are sinful people who do not want to be baptized?

After water baptism, the Holy Spirit alights like a dove upon Jesus as the reconciliation offering.
It means that after receiving the Holy Spirit, we must be reconciled= being set free from sins, such that we may live in TRUTH and SINCERITY(purification until inside the heart).

    Revelation21:8
21:8 But the cowardly(1), unbelieving(2), abominable(3), murderers(4), sexually immoral(5), sorcerers(6), idolaters(7), and all liars(8)shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

In particular, we must be reconciled from eight sins above which will drown us directly to the lake which burns with fire and brimstone/ the hell.
If there are eight sins above, it means that our condition is still as the broken clay pot.

    The results are as follows:
    • I Corinthians5:7-8
      5:7.
Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
      5:8
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened breadofsincerity and truth.

We will experience the feast ambience, that is the heavenly joy which cannot be affected by any world condition(difficulty, illness, etc.).

    • If sins are reconciled, we will have relief, everything become easy and light.

Starting from now, we must have the heavenly joy. It must be increased until we are able to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb on Jesus' second coming.

Trading the doves= do not want to be reconciled/ set free from sins, whether their own sins or the others' sins.
The consequences are their lives labor and areheavy laden, until become the broken clay pot and being perished forever.

If we have sinned and then do not feel wrong, feel everything is good even successful, it means that we have been left by God for judgment and perdition.

As we are still able to regret and try to be set free from sins, God is still able to help us.

We have to reconcile the sins, so that we can experience the feast ambience and everything becomes easy and light, until the easiest and the lightest, that is we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb in the glorious clouds.

  3. A dove was sent out and did not return again = the Holy Spirit in the era of God the Holy Spirit.

    Genesis8:12
8:12 So he waited yet another seven days and sent out the dove, which did not return again to him anymore.

    John16:7
16:7. Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

Jesus must die on the cross (as the dove has to be slaughtered), rise, and go up to the Heaven to pour the Holy Spirit to us.

    Acts2:1-2, 4
2:1. When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
    2:2
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
    2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Holy Spirit has been poured at Jerusalem's attic until now, until someday there will be no more outpouring. Holy Spirit will be withdrawn from the earth and will not return.
Therefore, if we need the Holy Spirit, we must get it now!

    Romans8:26
8:26. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The true weakness of us is we cannot pray. But if the Holy Spirit anoints and fulfills us, the Holy Spirit will help us to be able to pray and worship God until we can speak with tongues(as being taught by the Holy Spirit).

Life who worships God = being a HOUSE OF PRAYER.

Trading the doves= life which cannot and do not want to worship God.
The consequence isnot becoming a house of prayer, but becoming a den of thieves which will be perished.

The results of becoming a house of prayer:
    • I Kings8:35-36
      8:35
"When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, when they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin because You afflict them,
      8:36
then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your servants, Your people Israel, that You may teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on Your land which You have given to Your people as an inheritance.

God is able to care our life with the rain of mercy and blessing,in the middle of the wilderness where we cannot sow and reap.

    • I Kings8:33-34
8:33 "When Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against You, and when they turn back to You and confess Your name, and pray and make supplication to You in this temple,
      8:34
then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers.

God stretches out His hands to give winning over all temptations and problems, the impossible becomes possible.

    • I Kings8:46, 50
      8:46 "When they sin against You (for there isno one who does not sin), and You become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near;
      8:50
and forgive Your people who have sinned against You, and all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You; and grant them compassion before those who took them captive, that they may have compassion on them

God stretches out His hands to restore the clay pot which has been broken by the sins (since there is no man who does not do sins) = God forgives, purifies, and changes us until we become as perfect as Him and able to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.

      Revelation19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
      19:7
Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."

Later together from around the world, from any language, we will welcome His coming with one word "Alleluia".
God blesses us.
