Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 21:1-8 can be divided into three parts as follows:

  1. [verse 1] The new heaven and earth.
  2. [verse 2-3] The new man.
  3. [verse 4-8] The new atmosphere.

    1. [verse 4] The atmosphere without death.
    2. [verse 5-6] The atmosphere of heavenly satisfaction.
    3. [verse 7] The atmosphere of victory.
    4. [verse 8] The atmosphere of the truth, holiness, and perfection.

As a result, we can enter the New Jerusalem.

We learn about the new atmosphere, namely the fourth.

ad.d. The atmosphere of the truth, holiness, and perfection.
Revelation 21:8
21:8 "But the cowardly(1), unbelieving(2), abominable(3), murderers(4), sexually immoral(5), sorcerers(6), idolaters(7), and all liars(8)shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

The new atmosphere is in the truth, holiness, and perfection.

The eight sins which drown men to the hell are as follows:
(1) the cowardly,(2) unbelieving--> are resisting against the truth.
(3) abominable, (4) murderers, (5) sexually immoral, (6) sorcerers, (7) idolaters--> are resisting against the holiness.
(8) liars--> is resisting against the perfection.

We are still learning about the cowardly and unbelieving.

The cowardly means fearing physical thing in the world until being doubtful or not believing the Lord or the true teaching Word and resisting against God.

Matthew 14:29-31
14:29 So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
14:30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was
afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"
14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you
doubt?"

For example, Peter, a great servant of God, became fearful and doubtful when facing the wind and waves in the sea of the world. It means being fearful and doubtful in facing the false teachings, sins up to the peak, and impossible temptations until beginning to sink or decrease physically and spiritually and being drowned in the sea of fire and brimstone or perishing in the hell forever.

Matthew 14:25-27
14:25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
14:26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out for fear.
14:27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer!
It is I; do not be afraid."

The way of God to help the life that begins to sink is through Jesus who appears with the name 'It is I'.

Exodus 3:13-14
3:13 Then Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is His name?' what shall I say to them?"
3:14 And God said to Moses, "
I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AMhas sent me to you.' "

In the Old Testament, the name of the Lord is "I AM WHO I AM."'I AM', 'It is I.' It means that the name of the Lord does not change. His power does not change. It means being eternal.

Matthew 1:21
1:21 "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."

In the New Testament, the name of the Lord is Jesus.

Jesus appears with the name "It is I" for helping the church in facing the hindrance in crossing the sea of the world to go to the harbor of peace. It means the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the ministry for the edification of the perfect Christ's body.

The Lord appears with the name "It is I" or"I AM WHO I AM."three times for facing three hindrances as follows:

  1. As the Savior for delivering the Israelites from the slavery of Egypt --> the death.
    Exodus 6:6
6:6 "Therefore say to the children of Israel: 'I am the LORD; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.

The name of Jesus as the Savior is able to set us free from the slavery of sins up to the peak, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, and the sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage such as fornication, pornography, and wrong marriage.

    1 Corinthians 5:7-8,11
5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
5:11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral(1), or covetous(2), or an idolater(3), or a reviler(4), or a drunkard(5), or an extortioner(6)--not even to eat with such a person.

We get the redemption or deliverance from the six sins which are ingrained in our life as follows:

    • Binding the body: sexually immoral, drunkard
    • Binding the soul: covetous, , reviler, extortioner
    • Binding the spirit: idolater.
The idol refers to all things which hinder us to love or prioritize God more than all things.

We hold fast the true teaching Word that sanctifies us up to the depth of our heart. It means purity. As a result, we can live in the righteousness and purity.

    Proverbs 12:26
12:26 The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.

We can be shepherded well and correctly.

    Psalm 5:12
5:12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

As a result, we are surrounded as with a shield of blessing and grace of God. We get the atmosphere of paradise or we are protected and blessed by God abundantly and we can be blessings for others.

  2. As the Shepherd for facing the destroying wind and waves --> resurrection.
    Matthew 14:24,27
14:24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.
14:27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer!
It is I; do not be afraid."

The wind refers to the false teachings such as the teachings of the Pharisees, of Herod or hypocrisy in the service and worship to God, and of the Sadducees, and so on.

    2 Peter 2:1

2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

The waves refer to the temptations, problems, or difficulties in all aspects of life up to the impossible ones.

The wind and waves with the power of the death are blown by Satan to drown and make our faith fall until denying Jesus and perishing forever or being drowned in the lake of fire and brimstone.

    Matthew 14:25,27
14:25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
14:27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."

Jesus appears as the High priest or Great Shepherd with the power of lifting up for helping the life that almost drowns. We must receive the ministry of Jesus as the High priest by being silent or peaceful. We are not in panic or fearful in facing anything.

    1 Peter 4:7
4:7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.

We can control ourselves or we do not doubt God Himself or the true teaching Word and His power. We do not hope to others, but keep on believing and hoping God or we fully entrust ourselves to God.

Hoping to others is the same as laying God aside. Consequently, one will be disappointed and hopeless until perishing.

    John 7:6
7:6 Then Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

The time is in the hands of God or becomes His authority. When the time of God to help or bless has not come yet, He is still busy with our life spiritually. Our time is always ready. It means that we always have time to keep silent or do the introspection in our life by the sharpness of the sword of the Word. Finding sin, we can confess it and repent. We also have the time to be silent or believe and entrust our life to God, so we can pray.

Repenting and praying is the same as stretching out the hands to God. As a result, God will stretch out His hands for making the wind and waves calm or finish all impossible problems and restore all destroyed things or lift us up from deterioration.

  3. For facing the betrayal --> glory.
    John 18:4-6
18:4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, "Whom are you seeking?"
18:5 They answered Him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus said to them, "
I am He." And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stood with them.
18:6 Now when He said to them, "I am He," they drew back and fell to the ground.

It begins from Judas Iscariot until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.

The betrayal happens in two places as follows:

    • In the marriage, namely the quarrel and affairs. The wife does not submit to the husband, the husband does not love the wife, the children do not obey the parents, and the parents make the children lose heart.

    • In the service and ministry.
      1 John 2:18-19
2:18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

The Antichrist refers to the person who is not serious in the service and ministry to God. It means unfaithfulness and not changing.

      2 Timothy 3:1-5
3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
3:2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3:3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
3:4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
      3:5
having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

It happens because of rejecting the power of the service and ministry to God, namely the sword of the Word and the cross.

Such people serve and minister to God only to get the physical profit, without the sanctification and life renewal. They keep the eighteen characteristics of the flesh until being stamped with triple six by the Antichrist.

Facing the betrayal, Jesus appears in the glory as the King or Heavenly Bridegroom who is full of mercy until sacrificing His soul on the cross. We can confess all our sins and weaknesses to God and other people, so the love covers all sins or weaknesses and it encourages us to be serious in the service and ministry to God. God does not look at our goodness or weakness, but our serious heart which is encouraged by the love.

    2 Chronicles 16:7-9
16:7 And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said to him: "Because you have relied on the king of Syria, and have not relied on the LORD your God, therefore the army of the king of Syria has escaped from your hand.
16:8 "Were the Ethiopians and the Lubim not a huge army with very many chariots and horsemen? Yet, because you relied on the LORD, He delivered them into your hand.
16:9 "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars."

As a result, God gives the extra power to defeat the great enemy. He is able to protect and preserve our life who is powerless in the midst of the difficulties in the world until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.

He is able to finish all impossible problems and give the beautiful successful future life.

    1 Thessalonians 3:13
3:13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

God gives extra power, so we can be strong and of good courage. We hold fast the true teaching Word and do not commit sin. We keep faithful and fervent in spirit in the service and ministry to God. We keep on believing and hoping God as well as worshiping Him. As a result, God will use us in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain. He is able to remove all impossibilities in our life.

God blesses you.
