Luke 7:36-50 refers to the Door Of Tabernacle. It means the remission of sins, so we can receive the anointment of Holy Spirit or fullness of Holy Spirit.
There are three persons in Luke 7:36-50 as follows:
Tonight, we discuss the second person.
ad. 2. A woman who was a sinner.
Luke 7:36-38
7:36. Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat.
7:37. And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil,
7:38. and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.
This woman anointed Jesus. Now, it means one experiences the anointment of Holy Spirit.
In the Old Testament, there are three ministries which are anointed by the oil as follows:
The meaning of the priest or the servant of God is as follows:
Leviticus 21:12
21:12. 'nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oilof his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
Nor shall a priest go out of the sanctuaryor the Holy Place in the Tabernacle. In the New Testament, it means perseverance in three kinds of main service as follows:
In the sheepfold, our body, soul and spirit as the priest experience purification by God the Trinity, so we experience the anointing oil of Holy Spirit.
Jesus asked Simon three times too. He said "Feed My sheep". It refers to three kinds of main service.
The more we have purification, the more anointing of Holy Spirit we also have. On the contrary, how great a man in the world is (servant of God), he has no guarantee to be holy, but only becomes unclean and dry spiritually, if he is outside the sheepfold.
The holiness and the anointing of Holy Spiritare the things which differentiate between the ministry which only concerns the physical or worldly things and the one which has spiritual value.
The signs of serving with holiness and anointing of Holy Spirit are as follows:
Actually, the person who is able to experience the anointing of Holy Spirit is the king, priest and high priest. But, in Luke 7:36-38, a woman who was a sinner was able to receive the anointing of Holy Spirit too. It is the great mercy of God and we may not play on it!
The conclusion is it is terrible if a servant of God experiences spiritual dryness, meanwhile a harlot can be anointed by God! It is his own mistake. He tramples the blood of Jesus and he will only experience suffering and perdition.
The process to receive the anointing of Holy Spirit is as follows:

Exodus 29:7
29:7. "And you shall take the anointing oil, pour it on his head, and anoint him.

- a holy person,
- one who has ministry,
- one who ministers God.

- The Golden Altar of Incense. It refers to perseverance in committing Prayer Service, namely fellowship with God the Father in His love. It is like breathing.

Luke 7:37
7:37. And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the tablein the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil,
It means that we have to hear teaching Word which is solid food, so we can understand and believe the teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. So, the Word is engraved in our heart and becomes faith in our heart, so we can believe in God.
If our heart is stabbed by the sword, it will be cut, we are touched, we can cry and regret our sin. - Wiping Jesus' feet with the hair of her head.
Luke 7:38
7:38. and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feetand anointed them with the fragrant oil.
Woman's hair refers to pride.
The power of teaching Word is able to take off all pride.
It means that we have no reputation, feel unworthy, unable and priceless. - Kissing Jesus' feet.
It means being reconciled. We can confess our sin earnestly and honestly to God and others until we are like humiliated or sentenced to die.
If we are forgiven, do not sin anymore, but we live in righteousness and peace.
The result is the anointing oil of Holy Spirit will be poured and produces fragrance.
The results are as follows:
- We (the Gentiles) are free from sins up to the curse of sin and we have a right for the blessing of Abraham up to our descendants.
Luke 7:48
7:48. Then He said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
Galatians 3:13-14
3:13. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),
3:14. that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentilesin Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spiritthrough faith. - The door of the Heaven and salvation are opened for us.
Luke 7:50
7:50. Then He said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you. Go in peace."
If the door of the Heaven is opened, we have happiness of Heaven in our life and it cannot be taken and influenced by anything in the world.
If the door of the Heaven is opened, the door of future will be too, we have beautiful and successful future in His time.
There is way out from all problems and Red Sea is opened by God too. - Producing fragrance, namely miracle of life renewal.
By Holy Spirit, all of our decay and wickedness will be changed into fragrance.
If spiritual miracle happens, the physical one will happen too. Until the last miracle when Jesus’ second coming, we are changed to become as glorious as Him and lifted up to glorious clouds.
