Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The whole Revelation 10 refers to the seven times of the sprinkling of blood on the mercy seat or the suffering of Jesus until He dies on the cross to cover, protect, and perfect the church of God.
By the seven sprinklings of blood, Jesus also experiences the seven lights of glory.
Revelation 10:1-3
10:1 I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
10:2 He had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,
10:3 and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices
.

The appearances of Jesus with the seven lights of glory are as follows:

  1. Being clothed with a cloud.
  2. A rainbow is on the head.
  3. The face is like the sun.
  4. The feet are like pillars of fire.
  5. Having a little book open in His hand.
  6. Setting the right foot on the sea and the left foot on the land.
  7. Crying out with a loud voice as when a lion roars.

Jesus appears with The seven lights of glory to illuminate the despicable sinful men to be as perfect and glorious as Him.

ad. 6. Setting the right foot on the sea and the left foot on the land
It refers to the authority and power of God to defeat the enemies.
The first enemy which comes out of the sea is Antichrist.

Revelation 13:11
13:11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

The second enemy which comes out of the earth is the false prophet with the false and deceitful teaching and the spirit of lies.

Galatians 5:9
5:9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

Even a little deceitful teaching can ruin and destroy who has been redeemed and justified by the blood of Jesus.

Matthew 16:6
16:6 Then Jesus said to them, "Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees."

The leaven of Pharisees refers to the divorce-remarrying.

Acts 23:8
23:8 For Sadducees say that there is no resurrection--and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.

The leaven of Sadducees does not admit the resurrection. It means that they reject the resurrection of Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:12
15:12 Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

Romans 8:11
8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

One who raises Jesus is Holy Spirit. If one rejects the resurrection of Jesus, he is rejecting the work of Holy Spirit or blaspheming Holy Spirit.

There are two kinds of the work of Holy Spirit as follows:

  1. The work of Holy Spirit at the early rain is the work of salvation.
    Matthew 1:21
1:21 "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."

Holy Spirit was born as a sinless man in Jesus to save the sinful men. Only Him as the only one sinless man can save the sinful men.

Blaspheming Holy Spirit means rejecting the salvation or not being willing to confess sins; even blaming other people.

  2. The work of Holy Spirit at the later rain is the work of perfection.
    Ephesians 4:7,11-13
4:7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift.
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
4:13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

The anointing of Holy Spirit gives the gifts of Holy Spirit that determine the ministry.
After having the gifts and ministry, we will be used in the ministry of the edification of the perfect body of Christ until we become the heavenly bride.

Blaspheming Holy Spirit means being non-active, not faithful, until leaving the service and ministry to God or hindering the ministry of the edification of the body of Christ.

So, the leaven of Sadducees is the deceitful teaching which rejects the work of Holy Spirit at the early and later rain. It means that there is no rain, so the spirituality and the marriage are dry until one dies spiritually.

The fact found in being dry in spirituality is that one appears like a beast as follows:
1 Corinthians 15:32
15:32 If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!"

James 3:7-8
3:7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind.
3:8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

  1. The wild words such as idle words, lies, et cetera, and the words which weaken and kill the faith of oneself and others.
  2. The wild deeds which make one like a horse that goes out from the cage. It means that he only aims to the sins up to the peak, namely the sins of eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.

  3. The wild thought like a beast or not having right mind.
    Mark 5:1-5,15
5:1 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.
5:2 And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
5:3 who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains,
5:4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him.
5:5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.
5:15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.

    The signs are as follows:

    • Dwelling among the tombs. It means that one is not shepherded. The tomb refers to the bad society which makes him die spiritually.
    • Crying out. It refers to the words which hurt the heart of other people.
    • Cutting himself with stones refers to the hard heart which destroys the marriage and children. The husband is rude; even he beats his wife, the wife does not submit to, but resists against her husband, and the children disobey their parents.

Men who appear like the beast only go to the perdition forever.

Revelation 20:10
20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Therefore, we must experience the work of Holy Spirit at the early and later rain.
In the Old Testament, the work of Holy Spirit at the early and later rain is described as the journey of Elijah and Elisha.

The steps of the work of Holy Spirit at the early and later rain are as follows:

  1. Walking from Gilgal.
    2 Kings 2:1
2:1 And it came to pass, when the LORD was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

    Joshua 5:8-9
5:8 So it was, when they had finished circumcising all the people, that they stayed in their places in the camp till they were healed.
5:9 Then the LORD said to Joshua, "This day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you." Therefore the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day.

At the past time, there was the circumcision in Gilgal
Now, Holy Spirit leads us so that we experience the spiritual circumcision, namely the water baptism.

    Colossians 2:11-12
2:11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
2:12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

Holy Spirit leads us, so we can enter the true water baptism.
The true water baptism is that one who has believed Jesus and repented must be buried in water with Jesus, so he arises from water with Him and gets a new life or the heavenly life, namely the life in righteousness.

  2. Going to Bethel.
    2 Kings 2:2
2:2 Then Elijah said to Elisha, "Stay here, please, for the LORD has sent me on to Bethel." But Elisha said, "As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!" So they went down to Bethel

    Genesis 28:16-17,19
28:16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it."
28:17 And he was afraid and said, "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!"

28:19 And he called the name of that place Bethel; but the name of that city had been Luz previously.

Bethel refers to the house of God or the Gate of heaven.
    The meanings are as follows:

    • Serving and ministering to God are the same as entering the gate of heaven.
    • Being planted in the temple of God refers to the perseverance in doing the three main services to God as follows:
      Psalms 92:12-14
92:12 The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
92:13 Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God.

92:14 They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing.

      • The Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in doing the General Service to get the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the anointing and gifts of Holy Spirit.
      • The Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in doing the Bible Study Service and Holy Communion to get the fellowship with the Son of God in the true teaching word and sacrifice of Christ.

      • The Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in doing the Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in His love.

By the perseverance in doing the three main services to God, the body, soul, and spirit attach to the Trinity of God. We are like a branch that attaches to the true vine. Sooner or later, we will grow to be strong, so we will endure like a cedar and bear sweet fruit like the palm tree. We are preserved by God and become His witness.

  3. Going to Jericho and Jordan.
    2 Kings 2:4-6
2:4 Then Elijah said to him, "Elisha, stay here, please, for the LORD has sent me on to Jericho." But he said, "As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!" So they came to Jericho.
2:5 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, "Do you know that the LORD will take away your master from over you today?" So he answered, "Yes, I know; keep silent!"
2:6 Then Elijah said to him, "Stay here, please, for the LORD has sent me on to the Jordan." But he said, "As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!" So the two of them went on.

    Romans 8:22-26
8:22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.
8:23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

8:24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?
8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Holy Spirit helps us to pray with groanings which cannot be uttered. We only cry and groan to God because we are facing Jericho and Jordan.
Jericho refers to the influence of the world. In Jericho, there are some things as follows:

    • Rahab the harlot refers to the sins of eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
    • Zacchaeus the chief tax collector refers to the evil desires which make men stingy and greedy.
    • A certain man who was robbed totally until he was a half dead when he went down from Jerusalem to Jericho. He refers to one who decreases in spirituality, so he meets Satan, not God.

The Jordan refers to the influence of the flesh with all of its desires and lusts which make men disobedient.
Through worship prayer, we mourn and groan to fight against the world and flesh. So, we can be obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.

    Romans 8:27-28
8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose..

As a result, God is working for good and success in our life.

  4. Holy Spirit is able to lift us up to the glorious clouds.
    2 Kings 2:10-11
2:10 So he said, "You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so."
2:11 Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

It means that He lifts us up from the falling in the sin or failure until all things are successful and beautiful in due time.
Holy Spirit sanctifies and changes us little by little until we are as perfect as Jesus is. We can welcome Him when He comes for the second time on the glorious clouds.

God blesses you.
