There are two great plans written in Exodus 1 as follows.

Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
There are two great plans written in Exodus 1 as follows.
- [verse 1-7] The plan of God to develop or grow the house of Israel. Now it refers to the plan to grow the Church of Godto reach the perfection as the perfect body of Christ.
- [verse 8-22] The plan of Satan, namely to hinder the growth of the Church of Goduntil there is no perfection.
There are three kinds of the way of Satan to hinder the plan of God as follows.
- [verse 10] Through temptation.
- [verse 11-14] Through forced labor.
- [verse 15-22] Through murder.
There are two kinds of murder as follows.
- Murder in the childbirth.
It means hindering the life renewal. The spiritual midwives, referring to the servants of God, are used to hinder the life renewal through being stumbling-block to other people who are new in their following to Jesus.
Let us now make efforts to become the witness of God, not stumbling-block. - Murder after the birth.
Exodus 1:22
1:22 So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, "Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive."
Meaning the Christians may have spiritual death because of being cast into the river although they have already been reborn through repentance, water baptism, and Holy Spirit baptism as well as become the servants of God. The river refers to the influence of the world.
There are three stages of the influence of the world as follows.
- Being the friend of the world.
James 4:4
4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the worldmakes himself an enemy of God.
The proof is unfaithfulness in the service and ministry to God, even leaving them.
Matthew 25:26,30
25:26 "But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
25:30 ‘And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Being unfaithful in the ministry to God, one will become wicked, murmur, and provoke other people.
Consequently, one becomes unprofitable or he is no longer in the body of Christ but cast into the outer darkness.
We must become the friend of God in order not to become the friend of the world.
James 2:21-23
2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
2:22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called the friend of God.
The friends of God are those who are willing to sacrifice all things according to the will or Word of God or what He asks.
Genesis 22:1-2
22:1 Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
22:2 Then He said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
Abraham offers Isaac. We must be willing to give what we love or something we are proud of, even our soul, as Christ has offered His soul.
2 Chronicles 3:1-3
3:1 Now Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
3:2 And he began to build on the second day of the second month in the fourth year of his reign.
3:3 This is the foundation which Solomon laid for building the house of God: The length was sixty cubits (by cubits according to the former measure) and the width twenty cubits.
The result or direction of the offering which is in line with the true teaching Word is toward the building of the perfect body of Christ.
Thus, the friend of God actively builds the body of Christ by offering all things according to the encouragement done by the true teaching Word. All our sacrifices will not meaningless because we will meet Jehovah Jireh or the Lord who provides all things. Something that does not exist yet can be provided until we can become the perfect Bride of God.
Revelation 19:7
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." - Loving the world.
1 John 2:15-17
2:15 Do not love the worldor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
2:16 For all that is in the world––the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life––is not of the Father but is of the world.
2:17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
The consequence of loving the world is fall in the lust of eye, the lust of flesh, and the pride of life.- The lust of eye means sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse.
- The lust of flesh means sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage or sexual sin with all its kinds.
- The pride of life is arrogance, beginning from not being shepherded, and disobedience to the voice of Shepherd.
Matthew 26:14
26:14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests
He hears strange voice, so he becomes disobedient and rejects the true teaching. He never experiences the sanctification, even he becomes a thief and sells Jesus, referring to betrayal to the true teaching Word.
Mark 14:45
14:45 As soon as He had come, immediately he went up to Him and said to Him, "Rabbi, Rabbi!" and kissed Him.
Acts 1:17-18
1:17 "for he was numbered with us and obtained a part in this ministry."
1:18 (Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.
His sins are heaped in his entrails until he falls headlong and perishes together with the world.
1 Peter 5:5-6
5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
The solution is that we must love God more than all things through humbling our life to be well-shepherded and obedient to the voice of the Shepherd. As a result, we are under the mighty hand of God which will exalt us in due time.
Being exalted means as follows.- Being employed in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
- Being given the tunic of many colors, namely the ministry and the gifts of Holy Spirit, by the laying hand of a pastor.
1 Timothy 4:14
4:14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.
Afterwards, do not become negligent but faithful and fervent in spirit. As a result, we are exalted and all things become successful and beautiful in His time. - Being exalted on glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time.
- The lust of eye means sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse.
- Being similar to the world.
Romans 12:2
12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Do not be conformed to this world, or else there is perdition together with it.
The solution is we must be same as the Lord through life renewal day by day, beginning from our heart. Our heart must be plain or sincere as the way of God, so we can discern the good and bad things or the true and false ones until we are perfect as Jesus is.
Genesis 1:2
1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
The plain sincere heart is as the face of the water where Holy Spirit may fill.
The function of Holy Spirit is as follows.- Holy Spirit makes us not thirsty but satisfiedwith heavenly satisfaction and joy in the midst of dryness of the world, so we will not fall and rise in sins but live in righteousness and holiness.
John 7:37-39
7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
7:38 "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
7:39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. - Holy Spirit renews us continuallyuntil we become as glorious as Jesus is. It is the greatest miracle.
Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
If we experience the spiritual renewal until we become honest, Holy Spirit will do physical miracle. There is nothing impossible for God. We can become same as Jesus is when He comes a second time.
- Holy Spirit makes us not thirsty but satisfiedwith heavenly satisfaction and joy in the midst of dryness of the world, so we will not fall and rise in sins but live in righteousness and holiness.
