Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 2:17
2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden mannato eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’
God’s promises to the congregation in Pergamos if they want to experience the last purification until leaving the false teaching are as follows:
We are learning the first one (The hidden manna).
Exodus 16:14-15
16:14 And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, asfine as frost on the ground.
16:15 So when the children of Israel saw it,they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “This isthe bread which the Lordhas given you to eat.
The hidden manna is the bread that came down from heaven. It is the Word of God whose secret is opened, verse is explained by another verse in Bible or the true teaching Word.
Psalm 78:23-25
78:23 Yet He had commanded the clouds above,and opened the doors of heaven,
78:24 Had rained down manna on them to eat,and given them of the bread of heaven.
78:25 Men ate angels’ food;He sent them food to the full.
Angel’s food is the shepherding Word. The true teaching Word that is trusted by God to a shepherd for he will convey It to congregation in faithfulness, continuation, and regularity. So the true teaching Word becomes food for congregation thus they will grow up to spiritual maturity as perfect as Jesus is.
The faithful shepherd gives the right food for congregation means he is the angel of congregation.
The shepherd that does not give food for congregation means he is Satan who transforms into an angel of light who deceives and consumes the congregation.
2 Corinthians 11:12-14
11:12 But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast.
11:13 For such arefalse apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
11:14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
The sheep must eat the true shepherding Word so they will get everything, even the physical and spiritual things.
If the sheep does not want to eat the true shepherding Word, the sheep will eat and sell the shepherd like Judas Iscariot.
There are three functions of Manna in Exodus 16:16-36 as follows:
The true shepherding Word is able to care our life starting from now until eternal life.
We are learning the first point that is Manna for daily life.
Exodus 16:16, 21-22
16:16 This is the thing which the Lordhas commanded: ‘Let every man gather it according to each one’s need, one omer for each person, according to thenumber of persons; let every man take for thosewho arein his tent.’”
16:21 So they gathered it every morning, every man according to his need. And when the sun became hot, it melted.
16:22 And so it was, on the sixth day, thatthey gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
The house of Israel takes one omer of Manna each day for five days and takes two omers at sixth day.
The number five refers to five senses; it is our heart and mind.
Thus, what we need for daily life is purification of five senses (heart and mind). If our heart is purified, our physical daily need is God’s business.
One omer is 3.6 liters.
If we are purified, God is able to care us in abundance so we always give thanks to Him. The blessing we are received from God contains His grace that is more valuable than anything.
The proofs of experiencing the purification of five senses (heart and mind) are as follows:

Exodus 16:36
16:36 Now an omer isone-tenth of an ephah.
Mark 7:21-23
7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, (1) adulteries, (2) fornications, (3) murders,
7:22 (4) thefts, (5) covetousness, (6) wickedness, (7) deceit, (8) lewdness, (9) an evil eye, (10) blasphemy, (11) pride, (12) foolishness.
7:23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”
The heart is purified from twelve wills of evil and uncleanness.
The uncleanness will lead to the sin of eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, drug abuse) and marrying-being given in marriage (sexual sin and its kinds, the wrong marriage).
The evil will is the love of money, being tied to money that makes one stingy and greedy.
The stinginess is one cannot give (time, effort, money, et cetera) for others who are in need and for the work of God.
The greediness is taking other’s especially God’s (the tithe and special offering).
If we are purified, we can give tithe and special offering until our whole life to God.
Genesis 14:17-23
14:17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the Valley of Shaveh (that is,the King’s Valley), after his return from the defeat of Chedorlaomer and the kings who werewith him.
14:18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he wasthe priest of God Most High.
14:19 And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High,Possessor of heaven and earth;
14:20 And blessed be God Most High,who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all.
14:21 Now the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the persons, and take the goods for yourself.”
14:22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth,
14:23 that I will takenothing, from a thread to a sandal strap, and that I will not take anything that isyours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich’—
Abram returns the tithe as confession that he is blessed by God. It is the confession that we live from God, Manna from Heaven or the shepherd Word. It is also the confession that God gives victory over enemy and solves our problems; we are free from the ties of the world or Sodom and Gomorrah, and everything what we have and our whole life belongs to God. - We believe and obey God until the flesh does not sound anymore.
Philippians 2:5, 8
2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point ofdeath, even the death of the cross.
The heart and mind of Jesus is obedience to the point of His death on the cross. If we are purified, we have heart and mind like Jesus that is we believe and obey God until the flesh does not sound anymore.
For example, Abraham obeys God when he is asked to sacrifice his son, Isaac. If God gives command, He will be responsible for all the risk. If we do not obey Him, we will take the risk.
Exodus 16:19-20
16:19 And Moses said, “Let no one leave any of it till morning.”
16:20 Notwithstanding they did not heed Moses. But some of them left part of it until morning, and it bred worms and stank. And Moses was angry with them.
If one does not obey the true teaching Word, he will breed worms and stink.
Stinking means falling in sin up to the peak of sin, eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage and experiencing the perdition and failure starting from marriage.
Isaiah 66:24
66:24 “And they shall go forth and lookupon the corpses of the menwho have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die,and their fire is not quenched.They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”
Breeding worm means perdition in hell.
Through worship prayer we experience the ripping of flesh so we can believe and obey God like stretching out our two hands to God. He will stretch out His hands to us so the miracle happens. The spiritual miracle is the life renewal from carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus.
Exodus 16:15
16:15 So when the children of Israel saw it,they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “This isthe bread which the Lordhas given you to eat.
Starting from mouth is changed, from questioning the Word to saying that is right.
Mark 7:28-30
7:28 And she answered and said to Him, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children’s crumbs.”
7:29 Then He said to her, “For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter.”
7:30 And when she had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed.
The Gentiles need the true teaching Word, their life depends on the shepherd Word. Without It, they are like dog and sow that will perish.
If Gentiles can eat the true teaching Word, believe, and obey It, they will be lifted up as the sheep, being cared by God. The marriage and children are recovered and they experience the joy. Moreover, everything becomes easy and light.
Genesis 22:5
22:5 And Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”
Abraham believes and obeys God. The word of faith from Abraham results the power of resurrection to erase the impossibilities.
John 11:32
11:32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
The word of faith also comes from Mary. She represents the youth. God is able to change something that is in decay and failure, to become success and beautiful thing in time.
Revelation 22:20
22:20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
This is the word of faith from the church of God. We are changed to become as glorious as God when Jesus comes a second time.
God blesses us.
