Revelation 21:8
21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
There are eight sins that lead man to the lake of fire and brimstone, experiencing the second death, perdition in the hell forever.
Ephesians 2:1
2:1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
If the man commits sin, he dies spiritually even though he is still alive in this world. It continues until entering the second death.
For that reason, we must use the time when we still live in this world for moving from the death to the life, so we can reach the eternal life. The process is as follows:
2 Kings 4:18-20
4:18 And the child grew. Now it happened one day that he went out to his father, to the reapers.
4:19 And he said to his father, "My head, my head!" So he said to a servant, "Carry him to his mother."
4:20 When he had taken him and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died.
For example, the Shunammite woman faced the death (her son died). The meanings are as follows:
When we face the death situation, we have weakness as follows:
The way out is that we must obey the true teaching Word even though it is painful for the flesh. It will encourage us to humble ourselves in front of God, worship God delightfully, and stretch our hands to Him.
2 Kings 4:34,37
4:34 And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm.
4:37 So she went in, fell at his feet, and bowed to the ground; then she picked up her son and went out.
Elisha refers to the shepherd. The shepherd must worship God delightfully to lift up the intercession prayer for the salvation of soul of the congregation. Thus, they can move from the death to the life.
The Shunammite woman refers to the church of God. The congregation must worship God delightfully, so they can move from the death to the life.
The facts found within worshiping God are as follows:
As a result, [verse 34] the spiritual cold becomes warm. It refers to faithfulness and fervency in ministry.
2 Kings 4:35
4:35 He returned and walked back and forth in the house, and again went up and stretched himself out on him; then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.
Sneezing seven times refers to releasing all the dirty things that are hidden in heart.
Matthew 15:19
15:19 "For out of the heart proceed (1)evil thoughts, (2)murders, (3)adulteries, (4)fornications, (5)thefts, (6)false witness, (7)blasphemies.
The eyes' being opened means that we can see our weakness, others who are in need, and God (worshiping Him).
2 Kings 4:36
4:36 And he called Gehazi and said, "Call this Shunammite woman." So he called her. And when she came in to him, he said, "Pick up your son."
Then, we experience the power of lifting up from the spiritual death (committing sin) to living in holiness and being employed by God in the building of the body of Christ.
All impossible problems are solved by God. There is beautiful and successful future. We experience the peace and joy of heaven. The ruined marriage will be restored. It continues until we are changed to become perfect as Jesus is when He comes a second time.
God blesses us.

When we face the death situation, we have weakness as follows:
- [Verse 18-19] As a youth, the mind is blinded by hard heart, so we cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ [2 Corinthians 4:3-4] and we refuse the teaching Word.
- As a mother, we see the teaching Word as the empty hope.
2 Kings 4:28
4:28 So she said, "Did I ask a son of my lord? Did I not say, 'Do not deceive me'?"
Thus, we get disappointed, desperate, and disbelieve to the true teaching Word. - As a father, we put hope on our intelligence, wealth, experience, and power, so we do not trust to the Word of God.
Mark 9:22-24
9:22 "And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us."
9:23 Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."
9:24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!"
It is the same as pride or one cannot worship God until experiencing the spiritual death and perdition.
