Prayer Service in Malang, June 21, 2018 (Thursday Evening)
Peace
and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation
7:13-15a 7:13
Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who
are these arrayed in white robes,
and where did they come from?"
7:14
And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me,
"These
are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their
robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
7:15
"Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day
and night in His temple...
Who
are those arrayed in the white robes and standing before the throne
and serving God day and night? Those
are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their
robes and made them white in the blood or experienced the ministry of
the reconciliation of the High Priest.
In
the Old Testament, the High Priest or Aaron entered the Most Holy
Place once in a year to do the ministry of reconciliation by
bringing
blood and incense. The High Priest sprinkled the blood seven times
upon
and before the Ark of Covenant. Thus, Shekinah
glory or the glory of God came and the deliverance
from the sins
of Israel happened.
In
the New Testament, Jesus entered the holy place or the throne of
heaven once forever and brought His blood and incense or the
intercession prayer. Thus, Shekinah
glory or the glory of God came and the deliverance
from the sins of all people in
the
world happened.
We
must experience the sprinkling of blood together with Jesus, so we
get the ministry of reconciliation of the High Priest. It means
experiencing the flesh suffering without sin together with Jesus.
When we face the sprinkling of blood, we have to pray and worship God
a lot, so we will neither be disappointed and desperate nor leave
God.
We
experience the ministry of reconciliation from the High Priest, so
the Holy Spirit will be poured upon us.
There
are three ministries of the High Priest and the results
as follows:
- Jesus
went out to the mountain and prayed to call and elect the
disciples.
Luke
6:12-13,
16 6:12
Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain
to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. 6:13
And when it was day, He called
His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose
twelve whom He also named apostles: 6:16
Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot who also became a
traitor.
Going
to the mountain refers to the sprinkling of blood. Praying refers to
the incense. If
there are blood and incense, the Holy or Glory Spirit will be poured
upon us.
The
results are
as follows:
- Holy
Spirit helps us to receive the calling and electing of God as the
King of kings and High Priest, so we can be the king and priest
according to the ministry that He gives.
Without
Holy Spirit, we cannot be priest and king who serve God. It is
because the flesh will refuse the calling and electing of God with
any reasons.
- Holy
Spirit gives an extra strength, so we will not become a
traitor.
Treachery
starts from ministering God unfaithfully up to leaving the
ministry
because of the physical things such as feeling that
is ashamed or wants to honor other that is ashamed or wants to
honor other
people, getting money, looking for mate, et
cetera.
Treachery
refers to stumbling in the calling and electing because of the hard
heart. The biggest stumbling is our selves because of keeping or
supporting something that is wrong. Judas Iscariot hardened his
heart and kept the sin, so he stumbled
because of
himself. He became a traitor. The hard heart is the
same as a
stone. If one keeps the hard heart, he will become
a stumbling-block and fall.
As
a result, one will hang himself, fall headlong, and burst
open in the middle. It
spiritually means the
spiritual dryness. One's life is uncertain
in doubt, curse,
up to perdition.
As
the priests and kings or the servants of God, we must keep our
heart, so we will not become a traitor like Judas Iscariot. Judas
Iscariot was shepherded by Jesus, but he betrayed Him. Being
traitor does
not depend on the matter of
who is the shepherd, but the heart itself.
- Holy
Spirit makes us strong in the calling and election. It refers to
being faithful and fervent in
doing the
ministry until the end line. We are employed in the building of the
perfect body of Christ. It starts from marriage, shepherding,
inter-shepherding, up to the perfect body of Christ. It continues
until we stand before the throne of heaven and we are worthy to
serve God day and night.
2
Peter
1:10-11 1:10
Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and
election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
1:11
for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the
everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- Jesus
went up on the mountain to pray.
Matthew
14:23-25,29-32 14:23
And when He had sent the multitudes away, He
went up on the mountain by Himself to pray.
Now when evening came, He was alone there. 14:24
But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves,
for the wind was contrary. 14:25
Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus
went to them, walking on the sea. 14:29
So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of
the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 14:30
But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and
beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!" 14:31
And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and
said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
14:32
And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.
"Went
up on the mountain"
refers to the blood. "Pray"
refers to the incense. The
blood and incense will result in the Glory Spirit.
Jesus
had the human body at that time, but He walked on the sea. It refers
to the power of Glory Spirit. We
get the Glory Spirit for facing two things as follows:
- The
raging sea is
changed into the calm one.
Holy Spirit is able to finish all impossible problems, so we feel
peaceful,
easy, and light.
- Holy
Spirit was able to lift up Peter, who began to sink because of the
doubt to God or the true teaching Word and Its power. One who is
doubtful will never feel peaceful life and he gets nothing.
Holy
Spirit lifts up us from falling, sinking, and failure physically
and spiritually. Everything is restored by God to become successful
and beautiful.
- Holy
Spirit is able to change us from carnal man to spiritual one, up to
being perfect like Jesus. This is the spiritual or biggest
miracle.
Luke
9:28-29 9:28
Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He
took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
9:29
As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe
became white and glistening.
Changing
refers to bearing fruit, namely having the fruits of Spirit in the
life.
Galatians
5:22-23 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 5:23
gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
We
are returned in the image of the
Trinity of God
as follows:
- "Love,
joy, peace"are
the image of Father God.
- "Longsuffering,
kindness, goodness"are
the image of the Son of God.
- "Faithfulness,gentleness,
self-control"are
the image of Holy Spirit God.
If
the spiritual miracle happens, the physical ones will also happen.
We return to the image of the
Trinity of God.
It starts from obedience and honesty.
1
Kings
17:12-13 17:12
So she said, "As the LORD your God lives, I do not have bread,
only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and
see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare
it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die." 17:13
And Elijah said to her, "Do not fear; go and do as you have
said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me;
and afterward make some for yourself and your son.
1
Kings
17:15-16. 17:15
So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she
and he and her household ate for many days. 17:16
The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry,
according to the word of the LORD which He spoke by Elijah.
The
widow of Zarephat was honest and obedient
to
the word, so
the miracle happened. Nothing could be something.
1
Kings
17:17 17:17
Now it happened after these things that the son of the woman who
owned the house became sick. And his sickness was so serious that
there was no breath left in him.
1
Kings
17:23 17:23
And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper room
into the house, and gave him to his mother. And Elijah said, "See,
your son lives!"
Although
we must face a test, if we are still
honest and obedient,
the miracle will happen.
Being
honest and obedient is the same as
stretching out our hands to God. As
a result, the
hands of Holy Spirit are stretched out to make the miracle.
Something that does not exist yet can
be created and the dead can be
raised. The last miracle is that Holy Spirit changes us to become as
perfect as Jesus is. We are worthy to stand before the throne of
heaven to serve God day and night. We belong to God forever.
God
blesses us.
