To Coincide with Fasting Prayer Service Session III

Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We worship God at home. It reminds us about the time when the Israelites were about to leave Egypt, namely they lived in Goshen. In every household, there was a sign of blood to experience deliverance.
Satan also works in the household to destroy it, so we have to be careful.

Now, it is the chance for us to experience deliverance. Many people are active in the church, but they forget their household. Let us pay attention to our own household.

Revelation 11:13-14
11:13. In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell.In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.
11:14.
The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly.

This is the second woe or the sixth trumpet, namely there is a great earthquake. It refers to the spiritual and physical shocks in the world and church of God because they reject the trumpet sound or the true teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.

After the gospel Word, there is the teaching Word. The gospel Word is for salvation, while the teaching Word is for perfection.

The spiritual and physical shock or earthquake causes three things as follows:

  1. 'A tenth of the city fell' (it is explained from General Service in Malang, June 14, 2020  to Prayer Service inMalang, June 18.2020).
  2. 'Seven thousand people were killed' (it is explained in General Service inMalang, June 21, 2020).
  3. 'The rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven'.

It refers to the shocks of the possession of God as follows:

  1. A tenth of the city falls = the tithe is shaken.
  2. Seven thousand people are killed = the house of God is shaken.
  3. The rest are afraid and give glory to the God of heaven. It is about God's bride. Satan is trying to shock us until we cannot be God's bride.

ad. 2.

Seven thousand people are killed. It refers to the house of God that is shaken.
The house of God refers to the life that has been redeemed or bought by the blood of Jesus. It also refers to the place where we serve and minister to God up to the peak, namely worshiping Him.

Who are the seven thousand people who were killed under the punishment of God? They refer to ones who reject the true teaching Word, so they also reject the true service and ministry to God and the true worship. It is the same as tearing down God's altar and worshipping idols especially Baal-Zebub.

Romans 11:2-4

11:2. God has not cast away His people whomHe foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,
11:3.
"Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life"?
11:4. But what does the divine response say to him? "I have reserved for Myself
seven thousand menwho have not bowed the knee to Baal."

Positively, the seven thousand people refer to ones who continually worship and minister to God, or defend the altar / house of God.

2 Kings1:5-6
1:5. And when the messengers returned to him, he said to them, "Why have you come back?"
1:6. So they said to him, "A man came up to meet us, and said to us, 'Go, return to the king who sent you, and say to him, "Thus says the Lord: 'Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending to inquire of
Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die."

Baal-Zebub means the king of flies or the false lord / husband to compete with Jesus, who is the King of kings or the Lord of lords, and the Bridegroom of Heaven.

Ecclesiastes10:1
10:1. Dead fliesputrefy the perfumer's ointment, And cause it to give off a foul odor; So does a little follyto one respected for wisdom and honor.

'Dead flies' = Baal-Zebub who causes men to lose the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The consequence is being the foolish servant of God, namely being fooled by Satan.

The fact found in being the foolish servant of God is rejecting the cross. It means that one rejects the flesh suffering with Jesus, and is not willing to sacrifice because of Jesus / the truth / the service and ministry to God.
1 Corinthians 1:18
1:18. For the message of the crossis foolishnessto those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

The example of rejecting the cross is not being willing to fast or making light of fasting, namely to allow drinking water when fasting. One only chooses the easy matter for the flesh even though it is against God.

The consequence is to become the fleshly man that keeps on doing sins up to the peak, even becoming the same as Satan who will perish forever.

Peter, the great servant of God, could be fooled by Satan until he became the same as him. Peter pulled Jesus aside when He was talking about the cross. Moreover, we have to pay serious attention to it.

Therefore, we must be watchful, truly serve and minister to God, and earnestly worship Jesus, The King to maintain or even increase the anointing oil of the Holy Spirit, so that we become the wise servant of God, not the foolish one.

Prioritizing the service and ministry to God and worshiping Him more than anything mean the wisdom.
And if it continues, having wisdom means being willing to bear the cross with Jesus or suffer because of Him.

Why do we have to bear the cross?

  1. We bear the cross so that we can stop doing sins and live in righteousness. We live according to the will of God or hold fast to the true teaching Word.
    1 Peter 4:1-2

4:1. Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
4:2. that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but
    for the will of God.

If we live in righteousness and hold fast to the true teaching Word, in a little while we will welcome Jesus who comes a second time on the glorious clouds.

  2. We bear the cross so that we only believe and hope in God and also love Him only.
    2 Corinthians 1:8-10
1:8. For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life.
1:9. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not
trustin ourselves but in Godwho raises the dead,
1:10. who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will
    still deliver us,

'still deliver us' = the perfect salvation.
Don't rely on anything in the world!
Whatever happens, we keep believing and hoping God, and also loving Him more. That's all, and He will work.

    1 Corinthians 13:12-13
13:12. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
    13:13.
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

If we are willing to stop doing sin and live in righteousness, we believe, hope, and love God, only in a moment we will see Him face to face when He comes a second time.

When there are inherent sins or difficulties, we face it with fasting.

  3. We bear the cross so that we experience the glory of God, namely the renewal of life from the fleshly man to the glorious one like Jesus.
    2 Corinthians 4:16-17
4:16. Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
4:17. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, i
s working for usa far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

The renewal begins with not losing heart. It is the same as being strong and of good courage for welcoming Jesus who comes a second time.

    Psalms 27:14
27:14. Wait on the Lord ; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

That is the usefulness of bearing the cross. All of it related to Jesus' second coming.

Be careful, do not lose heart! It is the same as the tasteless salt, losing the anointing of the Holy Spirit, or being the foolish one.
The fasting prayer is the process to accelerate the flesh tearing with all its desires and lusts. So, we experience the renewal of life from the fleshly man to the spiritual one like Jesus, namely being strong and of good courage. That is the life that is anointed by the Holy Spirit or becoming the true salt that is salted by the fire of the Holy Spirit.

    E
    phesians 3:16
3:16. that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spiritin the inner man,

The facts found in losing heart are as follows:

    • Not holding fast to the true teaching Word because of trials, difficulties, and sufferings, and turning to false teaching.
    • Being disappointed or desperate and leaving the marriage or service and ministry to God or even leaving God because of trials, constrictions, misunderstandings, et cetera, until we do not believe in God anymore. It is the same as being fooled by Satan.

    • Not being able to prevent the rottenness means keeping on doing sins up to the peak.

Let us be the true salt through fasting prayer. We are salted by the fire of the Holy Spirit so that we become strong and of good courage.

The functions of the Holy Spirit's fire are as follows:

    • The fire contains heat.
It means that the Holy Spirit sanctifies us, the Gentiles, from the viruses of sins, such as the stabbed heart, hatred, et cetera, and the worms of sins or the sinful deeds up to the peak. We can live in holiness or be fragrant before God.

      Romans 15:16
15:16. that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

If there is the fire of sanctification, we can love God more than anything, love others like ourselves, even love the enemy or repay evil with kindness.

    • The fire contains energy or power.
It means that the Holy Spirit gives us extra power to face the trials and difficulties in the world, slander, hatred, and persecution because of Jesus. So, we do not grumble or get disappointed and desperate. We do not deny God, but we can testify.

      John 15:25-27
15:25. But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, 'They hated Me without a cause.
      15:26.
"But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
      15:27. And you also will
bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.

If one grumbles, gets disappointed and desperate, and denies God, his life will be hard. But, if one testifies he will bring a good taste, meaning his life is easy and light.
We are used to testify about the Good News to the souls who did not believe Jesus in order to be saved. Also, we testify about the Bride Tidings to the souls who have been saved in order to be perfected and become the Bride of Heaven.

Our testimony from the household / marriage.

    • The fire contains light.
It means that there is the light of life renewal from the fleshly man to the spiritual one like Jesus, namely we can shout "Abba, Father" = being honest and obedient.

Being honest and obedient is the strong foundation for Jesus to always be present to create miracles and helps for us. We experience the preservation and help from God.
Afterwards, we can help others even though we must sacrifice. It is the same as the true salt that dissolves.

When Jesus comes a second time, we are renewed to be as perfect as Him and worthy of welcoming His second coming on the glorious clouds. Behind the cross, there is the glory of God. We enter the One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace (upcoming Paradise) and the New Jerusalem. We are with Him forever.

God blesses us.
